Worth every penny
Excellent at keeping the drinks hot, I make a flask everyday for work early in the morning, and the tea/ coffee is still to hot to drink late that night when I pour whats left away to rinse the flask. Worth the money.
Great flask
Great flask
My Husband works out doors all day long
He has tried and tested this flask and is happy it keeps his drinks hot all day
It’s what you want especially working out in the colder months
Stanley flask
My job now takes me outside, with the weather getting colder I wanted a flask that would take a knock and actually work. I picked this Stanley flask as it’s metal, doesn’t have a glass sleeve, so won’t smash if you drop/ knock it. It’s mental how long it stays hot for. I’m really impressed and happy with it. Infact I bought a smaller one too.
so far it's exactly what I wanted it t be
Bit pricey for a flask but as always one gets what one pays for. Keeps hot drinks hot for a whole days fishing and big enough to keep me supplied so I’m happy to recommend this as a good produc
I have tried several flasks and thermal cups. Most leak or don’t keep contents warm. I’ve had this Stanley for about three years now and never let me down. 0.47l is just enough to carry around for a day at work, long walk, car journey etc. – about two mugs ot three of the built in cup.
The flask is solid, very well made. It takes everyday knocks in its stride.
It is a big flask as 0.47l capacity goes. Others that hold the same amount have a smaller profile. This is ‘chunky’, but for me that adds to being more robust.
Solid
Bought this week as the weather’s getting rubbish and I can be out on the road a lot at times
Immediately filled to the brim with boiling hot water, fresh from the kettle around 4pm day 1
Day 2 at 6pm still red hot (trickled a bit on my hand, not hot enough to blister but certainly wouldn’t want more than a couple of drops landing on your skin) managed to brew a full pot of tea no problem from the kettle boiled 26 hours earlier, superb!
Unit feels robust, it’s bigger than you expect
The handle is great and has a slight rubber coating
Stopper a little tricky but only as I’m unsused to these
Can’t wait to put it to good use, hopefully for many years to come
Does what it is supposed to
Like: Kept tea hot from 07.30 until 14.00 despite being exposed to a very heavy Autumnal rain storm for the duration of my hike.
Dislike / caution: threads on the screw in stopper easily “cross-threaded” the first couple of times I used it. Be gentle tightening it as being heavy handed when tightening could damage it.
Okay
I purchased two of these at the same time, one is Okay the other one the lid stopped doing up tight, Ive tried taking it off and screwing it back on but no joy maybe its easy to cross- thread
Does the job well but perhaps plastic is better!
Good points; very heat efficient, twist and pour cap, strong steel design helping with drops and longevity, folding handle. Bad points; Very heavy, no handle on cup, cup can get too hot to handle, only one cup, needs careful internal cleaning due to seal design at bottom of flask, a pressed steel design would have been better. Cap seal needs removing to clean properly, Expensive.
Still boiling after 30 hours
The flask is as big as a 2 litre from other companies. That is because there is so much more insulation. No kidding, but there was still steam coming from inside after it had been boiled more than 30 hours earlier. The insulation is amazing. The flasks are not cheap, but do you really want a cold cup of coffee?
Looks solid
Looks good so far but is the stopper not supposed to sit flat on the rim of the flask? See pic ( 1+3 )
It feels like I’m screwing it in wrong or I’ve missed a thread but everything looks normal on the stopper. ( Pic 2 )
Better than I hoped.
I’m a clumsy so and so and get through a LOT of flasks.. this is the best one I’ve ever had. The coffee is piping hot at 8a.m and still piping hot at 4p.m when I take my last drink. I’ve dropped it several times. If I’m honest, the aluminium outer part of the cup came away from the plastic inner part so I had to stick it back in but couldn’t bring myself to deduct a star on the rating because it’s so good in every other detail.
This is some excellent stuff. It holds the temperatures very well, is easy to carry and very sturdy. It’s easy to pour from the bottle. And if you’re thinking whether to buy this one or a 1 litre one, I’d go for this one, because it holds the temperature a lot longer and there is literally no difference in size of the bottle, so what’s the point. Also, the handle is bette
I’ve had so many flasks over the years that can’t keep your brew warm or hold enough fluid in to keep me going all day (either that or its all leaked out!) I’ve had this flask for over a month and it’s my best birthday present to me from me! If you’re like me who loves his tea and does outside physical labour then this flask will definitely suffice. Alot of the time when I’ve finished my working day I still have some tea left and it’s still as warm as it was when It was freshly poured in the morning! Bonus thing it is as tough as wood pecker lips.
