Good taste
Hi – love this coffee but am wondering how much caffeine is still in it . Started heart palpitations about 2 years ago so switched to decaf. These are definitely the best decaf I’ve had but I started getting palps again so stopped the coffee and they’ve gone now . Very sad about that . If I drank caffeine I would opt for this instead . Obviously a bit less caffeine than the normal and a great taste .
A good alternative to official capsules
Not much to say really. These are a fair bit cheaper than buying Nespresso from their web site.
You do get the occasional mis shapen one which doesn’t “pop” properly, but usually lifting the arm and re-doing it fixes that.
The taste is great.
Much more affordable than the shops
Summary:
Proper Starbucks Espresso capsules made with premium materials (like the real Nespresso capsules), but at the price of budget pods which normally are made from plastic. Which makes a real difference to quality and taste.
Costs:
Only purchased on sale for around 20. But last for weeks with the amount you get. Additionally massive savings compared to going to a Starbucks.
All worked out: 20 per 80 capsules, that’s 0.25 a shot. VS the 3.50+ they charge these days its a no brainer.
Taste:
You can tell the difference between a cheap pod and a proper pod. I often use syrups but even then the taste still shines through. I personally do a double shot (two pods) with warmed milk to create a Latte and honestly wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a proper coffee from a Starbucks store and the ones I make at home.

This STARBUCKS Decaf Espresso Roast capsule is the best tasting decaf coffee I have ever tried and I have been drinking it daily ever since I first discovered it when on offer in Tesco. The capsule is compatible with Nespresso machines and being Dark Roast comes with a strength rating of 11. I drink this in a small mug as a lungo measure, around 110ml, no milk or sugar. It has a lovely crema on the surface, a strong coffee flavour with hints of chocolate. Simply delicious. Currently a bargain from Amazon compared with supermarket prices.
these pods don't fi
It’s not that I dislike these pods , it’s just that they don’t fit my Krups Dolce Gusto Piccolo coffee maker. I have only recently purchased this machine and it was my first time buying new pods – and unfortunately I chose the incorrect ones! This is the first time I have ever been refused an exchange by Amazon even though none of the boxes had been opened. A complete waste of 63.20 [including the non decaffeinated pods bought at the same time]
One of the best Dicaffinated coffee flavours in one capsule!
I am a coffeeholic and have tried all kind of nespresso and dolce gusto compatible Dicaffinated capsules in the past. This is my ultimately best flavoured Dicaffinated espresso & by strength it is perfect to allow me to use only 1 capsule for a perfect coffee latte mug mixed with any milk, but i love to mix it with oat milk and the flavour is bold and present even after adding 60% of milk to espresso shot. Recommend without hesitation despite at first i felt it may be too strong stregth 11 for me. Money well spent, thank you Starbucks!
Amazing coffee
I bought these coffee pods for my new nespresso coffee machine. I love coffee and drinking these pods is literally like being in Starbucks all day. Such good value and a real coffee ! Flavour has depth and body and is an easy drink. Highly recommend! Enjoy
By Far The Best Decaffeinated Nespresso Capsules
Good flavour, depth & intensity. They are the only decaffeinated Nespresso (or copies) capsules that I find palatable. I have served them to coffee loving friends, who thought that were were normal pods!
I read a couple of negative reviews saying these decaf pods tasted awful or were too weak. That made me write this review! I think I’ve tried most decaf Nespresso-compatible pods out there and some are truly awful. These, on the other hand, are great – rich and flavour-packed.
Taste is a very subjective thing, but those negative reviews are just plain wrong.
Loving my coffee subscriptio
I have ordered this coffee ones and then I signed up for monthly subscription. The flavours are great and it’s an excellent price for the number of coffee pods. We drink mostly decaf, so that’s my choice here. Recommended
Good value
Good value coffee. Was looking for some bulk decaf as trying to cut down on caffeine. These have an excellent strong flavour. Wouldn’t tell if you were blind taste testing that they are decaf. Will defo buy again.
Great coffee, great way to buy it!
The package arrived in excellent condition with none of the internal packs damaged or open. Really good decaff coffee with a flavour I enjoy very much in a daily latte! Would definitely buy again.
The best unwavering flavou
I have had this coffee before. For a decaf it’s excellent. Better than Nespresso’s decaf Arpeggio. I would recommend this decaf. Nice and strong. My coffee arrived within 24hrs. Brilliant service. I will be getting my Starbucks decaf from here from now on. Well done and thank you.
I’m more of a regular tea drinker, but my wife swears by her morning coffee… and her mid-morning coffee… and lunchtime coffee… you get the idea. Whether you even could tell if you were getting your regular ‘hit’ is debatable, especially when the decaf option is just as delicious as the caffeinated variety.
Like many, we switched our caffeine habits for a better sense of wellbeing. Again, debatable – and I’d hazard you couldn’t tell the difference either. Give them a go. A great flavour, from a favourite coffee chain. Are there cheaper, non-brand alternatives? Sure. But if taking a piece of the high-street chain home with you is important – these are great.

We love this coffee in our household, we love the flavour and feel we can indulge in drinking more because it’s decaffeinated and won’t make us high!! We have started to order it to arrive monthly and are really enjoying that decadence, unlike a lot of decaffeinated coffee is it is strong and bold, I can highly recommend it, thank you!!!
I am very sensitive to caffeine so I can only have one caffeinated drink in the morning. I bought quite a few decaf brands and found them too weak. This one is very strong, from its taste one can hardly tell it is decaf. A bit more expensive than Lor which was my favorite, but good for a change. It has a very distinctive hazelnut after taste, which I like very much.

Really nice to get that Starbucks flavour at home, great in a latte.
Strong flavour, bit of a bitter burnt hint at the tail end but that’s Starbucks and I kind of love it, especially for a morning coffee, save the smoother blends for later, bit of a kick first thing, even for decaf.
Fully recyclable as they’re aluminium, hear they’re actually made by Nespresso themselves don’t know if that true or not. Look identical, even the boxes.

Great tasting decaf coffee pods. As with all official Nespresso licensed pods, the come in recyclable allimunium pods that don’t leak, and good value, especially on the subscribe and save.
Working from home now, this is cheaper and better than my previous morning coffee
I made this purchase mainly based around the brand name thinking it would be a decent decaf option. I was not at all disappointed. They are full of flavour and nice and strong. What more can I say…I suppose that they are good value at 25 pence a cup too. I know there are cheaper options out there but I wanted to go safe on my first decaf venture and I am very glad I did!
