I needed this for hospital as I was going to have to lay flat for some time. I only used it for my phone, but its been great. Easy to fit and move around. I would definitely recommend, although I haven’t tried with a tablet other than a switch. It seems you just need to make sure everything is screwed tightly, then it will hold its position well.

I bought this back in February nearly a year ago and I have used it every day since!
It’s so handy, I have my ipad attached to it most evenings, where I can use it to read, stream or play PS5 remotely in bed. I also have attached my switch to it and it really improves my posture so I’m not constantly looking down at a book / game etc. I also use a page turner so I can position my ipad so I can lie down and read!

It did come off the bracket at one point but we have screwed it back together. I think its pretty sturdy for the price and certainly worth it for me. Will it last forever, not likely but fairly good at this price point.
Down point for me is the lack of flexibility to move it anywhere else really, it is only really good to attach to the headboard, so I think I might need a different type for other places.

It is a bit noisey and rigid as well so there are limitations to the positions and I would recommend oiling it!

Was a little sceptical of it holding the weight of my tablet at first because of how thin and lightweight the arm seems, but it works well. I won’t be changing the angle of the tablet but I will be swinging the arm around depending on my laying positions when I’m watching videos so I don’t see this failing any time too soon.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis device generally works well attached to the headboard of a bed. If the headboard is low, as mine is, another inch in length of the sections would be helpful but for me it works, just. The ‘grippy’ silicone pads on the clamp work well and in fact make it hard to reposition the clamp. The post that slots into the clamp could be improved if it were shaped (grooved?j so that the screw stopped it being pulled out when adjusting rather than just locking in place — a common fault with all similar devices.
This support is best for viewing rather than operating a tablet as it moves when finger touches are applied, like all similar devices it’s not rigid.

I bought this to hold my Fire HD10 tablet which I have in a case, it holds both. I can use for my Samsung phone too. Fitted to my headboard 6 inches from the end, then just rotate it to where I want it, works great whether I’m lying in bed or sitting up. Should say it will shake about if you move about in bed but settles when you settle. A more sturdy headboard may not have this problem. The instructions were a bit confusing but I eventually worked it out. I would definitely recommend this product.

Much better than the bendy type, heavier though. I like the way you can swing it completely out of the way from the very top when making the bed without disturbing the angle chosen. It’s a bit harder to position perfectly at first but once done it just requires minor angle changes of the part that holds the mobile or tablet. I recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersRecently been having trouble with my nexk getting stiff and its due to me constantly bending forward on my ipad . This is a game changing . I can lay back and have my ipad just above me . The structure is sturdy n easy to put together. I use all around the house . It hold an ipad without a case very easily. Glad i purchased

This is a reasonably well made product. It works exactly as illustrated and is easy to put together. You may need a small spanner to adjust the bolts in order to fix the position. It may not be as adjustable as you imagine- this works best mounted vertically when the attachment position is not much higher than your head.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis tablet holder replaced a 1 metre tubular holder I had for my bed. The old holder literally snapped at its base. This is much easier to set up and use. It hasn’t marked the head board and once set up to the correct height and distance, it is easy to push it out to either side without any great body movement or strength.

It can be easily adjusted by loosening any of the holding handles/screws. It’s grips on both ends feel secure and adjusting the tablet screen can be done without causing any great vibration. If the joint screws are properly tightened there’s hardly any movement. Two hands may be needed to support the main arm itself when adjusting the centre pivot to ensure excess pressure is not placed on the base. While I suspect this can be accomplished with one hand, better safe than sorry.
This is a far superior product to the one it replaced and I expect it to last some time. Good product.

Bought this to watch movies and tv shows in bed. The arm is so easy to maneuver but stays up and doesnt fall down under the weight of the tablet. My only issue with it is that because of the way its built. It wobbles a lot if you touch it, so you have to be very still when watching stuff. Otherwise its a great item, would recommend over the other bending type of stands.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersSimply one of the best purchases I have made with 1 small flaw.

I spend a lot of time in bed and was looking for a solution to having to hold or prop up my tablet for long periods of time watching movies etc.

Once all fittings are tightened sufficiently it’s quite sturdy on the whole with 1 exception: where the tablet clamp attaches to the arm. If the tablet was not central, for example I wanted it rotated while lying down, it would slowly succumb to gravity and twist on its own. I overcame this with putting a small rubber O-ring inside the fitting between the steel ball of the arm and the plastic of the clamp.

    Now it’s perfect.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis arm easily holds my Samsung tablet (weighs about 750g in its case) in any reasonable position. However, if I touch the screen at all, the arm springs amplifies this energy and the whole thing will wobble indefinitely, requiring me to hold the tablet still for a couple of seconds after every touch on the screen. This issue is fine really at this price. The grips or jaws of the tablet holder itself are firm, if maybe a little shallow. If you have a thick case on your tablet you may struggle to fit it all into the grip. Overall very happy with purchase.
