Sizing
I can’t speak for longevity having only just received them but wanted to add this to help others with sizing. My feet are 25.5 cm long and I’m usually a size uk 7/8 and I ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. I orded the black barefoot friendly style. They are nice and wide – wider than my groundies and vivobarefoot but the laces are also too short. I wouldn’t trust them as hiking boots but these will do for play grounds and around town during winter. They look OK for the price but I’ve knocked a star off for sizing and laces.
Pretty good but 1 issue
Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the boot. Good quality and very comfortable. The size was pretext for me and touch wood, no pain in my feet after wearing them all day at work
1 issue i do have is that the insoles never stay in place and keep moving. Not sure if it’s because I’m wearing socks or if it’s a common problem.
On the whole, defo worth i
Too small
Ordered a UK 9 as that’s what I use in every other shoe/boot but they were more like a UK 8, far too small and uncomfortable to wear. Got them stretched at a cobblers and now fit ok. Great warm pair of boots other than being sized wrong
Good, but smaller than expected
I bought these boots because of the change in weather and also I needed a new pair of boots. I’m quite happy with my purchase, to be fair, although the sizing is a little bit off for me. I bought the size 12 boots as I’m usually an 11 but I have wide feet. Several of the reviews highlighted these felt quite wide, so I assumed a size up would be fine. The product information states an EU 46 is a U.K. size 12.5. However, upon receiving these boots and noticing they are labelled as an EU 46, I would have to disagree that these are a 12.5 in U.K. sizes. While I can wear these boots and they aren’t uncomfortable, they are a little tight around the wider part of my foot. If I was reordering, I’d probably get the size 13, although this could also potentially be too tight for me. In recent years I’ve purchased my shoes from online retailers that specialise in wide feet, as I find the regular store sizes are never suitable for me.
They feel warm, no doubt about that, and they feel quite sturdy despite some other reviews. I’ve worn them for about a week now, and I’m happy they won’t suddenly fall apart.
The soles do feel as if they would be good on muddy terrain, stone, rock, etc., but I’m not convinced they’re any good on ice. The weather cleared up shortly after I got these, but the one time I did walk on some icy patches, I didn’t feel any more secure than in my regular shoes. To be fair, for about 45, I can’t expect these to be anything special.
I would recommend these boots to anyone wanting something to wear on outdoor walks around places where you need something sturdy and quite secure, but do not buy these if you only need them for ice. I’m sure they are fine in snow, but once that snow wears down and it freezes over, these would struggle.
Best boots I’ve had in a while
Good grip, very comfy and warm
They do repel water but not in deep puddles
I can also jog in these as they are quite light
Best boots I’ve had for a while, excellent quality and price
Quality
The product is what you would expect they cost 50 you get 50 pounds worth of quality however I did buy previously a pair of merrells for 190 pounds and they lasted one and a half seasons so is it always worth buying the most expensive make your own mind up… I could have three pairs of these Boots for one pair of merrells
I gave it a four star for water resistant, as I haven’t used them in the weather at the moment, but I will do tomorrow when I’m working. Very comfortable and inside the the boots are fluffy. I’m a size 9 and they fit perfect. as for wearing them in Snow. I don’t think I will try that any time soon.
I was in need of a new pair of winter boots and decided on these.
The fit is perfect (I am size 8 UK) and they were so comfortable from the moment I put them on – No need to “break them in”.
The fleece lining is soft and very warm and the soles give great grip even in icy conditions.
I have only rated water resistance as 4 stars so far as I have not yet had the opportunity to try them out in really wet conditions but suspect that they would be a 5 star rating.
A great stylish boot that can easily be worn as “smart casual”.
Really pleased with them and the only thing I cannot comment on is their durability as I have only had them less than two weeks. They do appear to be very well made so I am hoping they will last me a good while.
One other small plus point for me is that the laces are just the right length. So often these days, trainers and boots seem to come with ridiculously long laces which need to be tied in a double knot and even then, some are still too long. These are of perfect length and tied normally, give no risk of tripping over the laces.
From my experiences so far, I would thoroughly recommend these boots.

Its ok but does not grip enough
It arrived on the day the snow fell. I had to go to the shop the following but my confidence got deflated by the shoes poor gripping on the not too icy snow flakes
Does the job
I brought these shoes for my husband to wear to work as the winter is approaching and British weather is horrible. My husband Is happy with the pair of boots. He says they keep his feet dry and warm but his only been wearing them for a week so hopefully they will stay good quality. But so far they’re doing the job great. Hope this review helped
For the money, I have been impressed with these boots. I have worn them every work day since November last year (now March 2021). My workplace is very wet and muddy and I am a lazy sod, so I have never cleaned the boots – just left them in the car each day, most often wet and muddy. They have remained waterproof throughout and very warm. They are also non-slip, so ideal if you want to walk in snow without ending up on You’ve been framed’
After my abuse, they are now coming apart, the uppers separating from the soles and the outer layer of material ‘peeling’ in places. However, if you want a warm, waterproof boot that isn’t going to let you down when walking the dog or for fishing (another use of mine), etc, and your willing to put at least some effort into looking after them (unlike myself) plus don’t want to pay a fortune then these won’t let you down.
I bought a different pair at the same time, so now I can move into them and see if they have the stamina!
Its actually sunny outside today so its not the best time to test the warmth, but they do have a nice fleecy lining, and thick soles that should isolate the cold. I plan to wear them walking the dog in the winter, and for Apres Ski next year.
They look good- like a cross between a trainer and a boot, and come up just over the ankle on me. (I have lifted up the jean leg, so you can see.
I do have very bony feet so they don’t feel entirely comfortable when first put on but, as I say, that is pretty normal for me (and was also true of my old Salomon boots, that cost twice as much.)
