Everything begins with a ski trip.
Vivian McKechnie which is the founder of VeraCosy, After a skiing trip in the Alps, she had ignited a desire for comfortable slippers. After the ski trip, she returned to her homestay with cold and stiff feet. As the old saying goes, “Health comes from the feet,” Vivian believes that warm feet are essential, so she rushed to get a pair of comfortable and warm slippers. Here the comfortable VeraCosy comes.
Comfortable and providing sole suppo
Having recently been diagnosed with Plantar fasciitis I needed sole support for indoor slippers. These fit well (I ordered a half size bigger than normal) and are comfortable. Too early to comment on durability.
Add half a size bigger to allow for the fur lining
Lovely slipper bought as a gift but too small as fur lining made them smaller so I advise ,to up the size you want by half a size
I had to return ,but will probably order a size up next time
Slippers
Bought these for my Dad but got the wrong size , so I gave them to my daughters boyfriend who thinks they are great comfortable and warm .
Rebought them in the right size for my Dad .
Comfortable, though a bit lacking in strength behind the heel, size is a bit tigh
The first thing that’s weird about these is that they are identical – non-handed, i.e. no specific left or right versions. I guess that being memory foam, they will mould to whichever foot they’re on over time. They seem comfortable and squashy, but provide good support. My feet are size 8-8.5 but even the size 9s of these I ordered are a bit tight, though they will no doubt relax a bit with time.
There is a lack of stiffness in the heel though, which means you have to be careful when putting them on so as not to squash the bit behind your ankle (which isn’t very high) so I’m not sure how long these will last before they start slipping off. I probably wouldn’t buy them again but can’t be bothered to send them back and try something else…
Great for winter!
I’ve been trying out the slippers, and they are comfortable and well-made. The memory foam is nice and adds to their comfort. These slippers are quite warm, making them perfect for the winter months, but they can be a bit too hot for summer wear. Overall, if you’re looking for cozy, winter-ready slippers, these are an excellent choice.
