Perfect cable if you want a lighter weight but sturdy HDMI cable!
I run my 4k gaming monitors from two computers – my PC for “me”, and my laptop for work… and I’ve been running the monitors with my PC using the Displayport, switching to HDMI for using my laptop.

This cable solves 2 problems for me…
    1. It replaces a very old, thick black HDMI cable which – due to the nature of me plugging my laptop in/ out frequently, has become a bit unreliable
    2. It is a high spec cable – which means I am future proofed – because I am now running 2 displays from my laptop!

I have now upgraded my laptop set-up to use my 2 34″ gaming screens by way of a USB C dock, so will put less strain on the cables… and so far this cable is excellent.

Highly recommended for the price – I wanted a good 2metre length so I could route and hide as much cabling as possible, and this one is easy to route, thin, and hard wearing.

The price was just 9.99 at the time of writing – which is great.

    Thumbs-up

    Get what it says
A HDMI cable is, at the end of the day, a HDMI cable. If it works, it works. And this one works. So if you need a HDMI cable, that feels like it was made to last then get this one.

    Perfect for my home office
My daughter’s boyfriend “borrowed” my HDMI cable from my home office and this cable has replaced it. It is well made and long enough so there is no need to overstretch it. The picture and connection is good but I can’t confirm if it is capable of 8k or not.

VICRATION High-Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable - Excellent cables so why pay more for an HDMI cable?
VICRATION High-Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable – Excellent cables so why pay more for an HDMI cable?

Are you in need of an HDMI cable to connect your TV, monitors or other electronics with a super high quality HDMI cable with 2.1 specs (which include 8K Video at 60 Hz, 4k@120Hz that supports bandwidth up to 48Gbps and backwards compatible with earlier versions of HDMI) that does not cost a fortune?

The High Speed HDMI cable from Vicration is the answer.

These cables provide stellar and excellent picture quality, they are made to the highest cabling standards, cabling construction materials and they even support older versions of HDMI connectivity seamlessly all the while these also support the latest 4k, 8K standards and ARC standards. They also come in different lengths as you need.

In my opinion these HDMI cables from Vicration are excellent to use, come with all the HDMI specs you may need and great pricing.

Some HDMI cables are crazy money just because they come from big names and spout allot of technical jargon. The answer is these have the same HDMI standards that all cables manufacturers must align to and at a fraction of the cost, so why choose others and save your money and get these HDMI cables form Vicration.

    Quality cable
This is a good quality hdmi cable. Hard to complain when you can get a 2m braided hdmi 2.1 cable for less than a tenner!

The connectors are smaller than usual and they don’t have the ridiculous massive mouldings that most seem to have, which it great if you don’t have much room behind you devices. The cable easily bends into the tight space behind my home theatre PC.

I have it connected between my RTX 4070 and LG C2 oled TV. So far it so good. So far good value.

    Really Nice Lead
First off I was unable to test this at 8K as I am not a Getty or a Rothschild, but I was having problems with my Steam Deck dock and my capture card, it would recognise a signal sometimes and not others and would also intermittently drop out. This was not ideal when capturing footage and led to a lot of expletives being shouted, especially half an hour into recording.

So reading that the problem could be lead related and seeing this I thought why not and went for it.

The lead has a very nice braided look and the connectors are solid and chunky (See Photo), I have no other leads with this type of connector. The lead itself is not the most flexible I have used, but also not the most rigid, it’s sort of halfway erring on the more flexible side. I had a friend visit just as I received the lead and he commented on how nice the cable looked and said I bet that was expensive, when I showed him the price it was available for he was gobsmacked. So a nice looking non expensive HDMI lead.

Back to my use, I connected the dock and capture card using the lead and bingo the card saw the signal straight away and the signal was stable, no drop outs, no expletives were shouted.

So to conclude, for my use case the lead was a resounding success, obviously your use case will probably be different, all I can say is this does look and feel like a quality product and I hope it works for you.

I think it works. I just wish that this HDMI cable was 8k certified.
It appears to be a strong, neat cable, and the connections are strong as you would expect.

Now, I do have a TV that has a feature that apparently upscales or interpolates Ultra HD television broadcasts to show ‘real 8k’ as the manufacturers put it.

But as I could find nothing broadcast in true 8k, (not upscaled) I used a Canon digital SLR camera to produce a 32.5 mega-pixel image, which is just shy of the 33mp equivalent that 8k represents; and due-to presumably countless limitations of the TV not actually producing a true 8k image; the only difference was some improvement to contrast and definition clarity, which is what I would have expected anyway if this product was to work; for which I think that it has.

But this could just be me, as I’m quite blind now, but I was once a landscape and architectural photographer, and the only reason for buying a new digital camera with a ‘higher’ mega-pixel rating, was when I wanted to either show or print a more defined and colourful image on to a ‘larger’ scale, and that’s it.

So, the larger the tv or projected image, the higher the resolution, and as I say; I think that this works, but since there’s no real mainstream 8k broadcasts occurring, then this product is overkill unless you are viewing high resolution images on to a suitable screen, but it does seem to have worked in my make-shift test, and this HDMI cable will always work anyway if you just simply need a cable for your full HD TV, (even on HDMI 1.4) but will give you the added clarity later when you upgrade to either a 4 or 8k device without the need to buy another HDMI cable when that day finally occurs.

Unfortunately, I cannot show you that image, because the image was too large to upload via Amazon, and I know that I’m quite blind, but if the difference in contrast is so minimal in real-life, how would you ever see the difference, when I’m only able to show you a much lower resolution photograph of a TV screen? It just wouldn’t work.

As I say, I wish that this product was certified, as I’d have more confidence in the product that most cannot properly test right now.

Anyway, I suppose that if you did have the funds for a true 8k monitor, I’m sure that your budget would stretch way beyond the asking price of this product; so, it really cannot matter right now.

    why does it smell?
    I have no 8K, not even 4k. Just a 2k monitor (1920 pixels).
I wanted to look my Roku on the monitor after the large TV burned itself with a bang and some smoke.
Roku was working there with an HDMI cable. But when I connected it to the monitor there was only stop and go, flickering and distorted sound … interesting that the TV was happy with that same cable and signal …
So thankfully I had another cable, that is also newer 8k capable, plugged that and … super clear picture and sound.
Even if you have currently no better than 4k but are gaming then go for this little more cost and get such a cable, it will cover your first 8K monitor too.
But if you want to become a top end gamer then go not under 8K 120Hz on a 1.2m or larger monitor …. With suitable cables which are currently quite pricy, which should not bother you because that computer needing that all costs a fortune anyhow.
So this cable is a good choice for 4K and lower end 8K, and does eArc sound return and so on, so is fully wired to latest standards.
For unknown reason, this cable has a smell (never seen before), its not bad, reminds a bit of expensive new cars. I prefer no smell. I can feel that in one meter distance, and it would annoy me (get headache easy from smelling devices), so I won’t like that cable just for that reason.
For me not perfect 5 stars, only 4.

    Great cable
I bought this to improve the refresh rate on my computer’s 4K monitor and was able to step up from 25hz to 60hz – removing all visible flicker – who knew there were different levels of HDMI – not me until I started to do some reading!
