Great value
In fairness, I purchased this item when it was on offer and didn’t expect the quality I received.
I only use if for a daily trim of my beard on 3.5mm setting but so far I can’t fault it.
Good trimmer, love the coded attachments
AS a beard trimmer it works perfectly, the colour coded guides are a great idea and make it easier to pick the one you want. That aside is a perfectley good trimmer at a reasonable price.

Second one of these I’ve had. Can’t fault it. Good trim and battery life. Performs well. Good size not too big or too small. Good value. Doesn’t over heat and cleans easily.

Great for beard trimming
Great little product ideal for beard trimming. More than enough comb sizes, a brush to clean, some oil for blades and a bag for everything. Highly recommend this for the price.
TOP TIP: The blades need oil before first use, they will snag hairs otherwise (I learned, ouch!) use oil after every 1-2 uses/clean to maintain sharpness and avoid friction which reduces heat and wear and tear and makes them last longer, and stops? …………. snagging! (Thumbs up)
My review:
They do feel reasonably well made for the price, I had a Braun before this (Fort over 10 years) which was excellent and only slightly more expensive than these, but with that said i wasn’t expecting life altering professional quality at this price point either. With that said they feel nice in the hand and are light, the on/off button feels sturdy enough and the main Steel trimmer head is of good quality, metal/plastic/spring components. Overall this is a good price for the trimmers alone. Snagging happened because i was impatient to try them out and should of used oil first on the blades.
The value is in the extra bits, the combs and the attachments are fairly well made, The combs are actually really nice and glide through the hair and feel very comfortable (My previous Braun trimmer combs did not feel like this at all) Only real issue was the nose/ear trimmer attachment, it is like a puzzle to solve to make it fit but eventually it worked. You get a comb (like the Christmas cracker ones, they probably end up never getting used) and you get a brush for cleaning and a little bottle of Oil (I use Wahl oil anyway on my clippers and trimmers so already have a bigger bottle which i would recommend) use the oil after every 1-2 shaves after you clean them, this really does pay off in maintaining the sharpness and stops?…… snagging!…. as i said earlier.
All in all it does exactly the same job as my last set so i’m happy, i would definitely recommend for the discounted price (27 at the time of this review) as its an absolute bargain, but at full price id still say you were getting a good set here for the money.
This is a nice size and easy to handle colour coding for the combs are a winner (I was aways getting the wrong one with previous trimmers). They are sharp and give a nice clean even trim with none of dreading pulling. Shows indication while charging but I’m yet to see the battery life. For the price you would expect cheap plastic and that’s exactly what you get. I’m fine with that as it’s what keeps it in the price bracket. It will not make you look like Brad Pitt but I came close
Works well but can be noisy
Lots of extras and good value and great t cuts cleanly and well. I’ve had others that split my beard hairs as they weren’t sharp enough to cut cleanly.
Only down side as others have said is it’s quite noisy especially when going round your ears.
They’re really, really noisey and the noise is at a frequency that’s not pleasant in proximity of one’s lugs which is why I’ve deducted a star.
On the plus side I was able to use them straight out of the box, they can also be used while charging which is handy.
Very good build quality and design – wouldn’t expect anything less from Wahl, the combs fit securely and do a great job compared to the crappy plastic dial length adjustment on my previous ones.
I also got a lower price offer on them on the day of purchase and the option to pay in 4 interest free sealed the deal for me.
