I have been looking for one of these for a while and did not want to pay the dry robe prices. I would say this product has all the same features, with an additional 2 internal pockets. I for drink bottle and an extra zip pocket. The cuffs are finished well with a fabric hem, not on the fleece. Also has fleece lined pockets, were as a lot of the cheaper brands do not. This has been brought for winter months netball, beach, swimming baths and winter walks, which I am sure will keep my daughter dry and warm. The fleece lining warmth start to penetrate your body almost straight away. I am do happy with this product. I take my gate off to the producers of this product for making an excellent standard garment at an affordable price without braking the bank
This oversized changing robe is definitely premium quality, which I was expecting for the price. It has a polyester outer shell which is waterproof and windproof and gives the coat a slight sheen. The inner layer is a sherpa style fleece which does feel a little artificial, but it is soft to the touch and covers the entire area inside the coat, even down the sleeves.
There is a big zip at the front which I have to either lean forward to reach the bottom or pull the coat up to reach the zip. The coat is really long on me and comes down to my knees which is perfect for what this is designed for. There are two zip pockets on the outside which have an oversized zip with a hoop threaded through which makes it easy to pull with gloves on. There are three pockets on the inside with two of them being deep pouches and the other is a zip one to keep items secure.
The changing robe is extremely warm and cosy and keeps the warmth in quite well. It has a full zip up to the top which can then be covered over with a flap that is held in place with Velcro. The hood tightness around the neck can be adjusted with a pull cord but I couldn’t get it to fit snugly around my neck as there was a slight gap. Moving around inside was reasonably easy as I was able to pull my arms out, so they were inside, and I had enough room to move around to dry myself. The sherpa lining did a good job of drying me for the most part but a quick run round with a small towel was enough to finish the job.
I do think I have lost this to my wife though as she is always cold and she likes to sit there, watching TV, with this on as it keeps her cosy and warm. It’s a lovely changing robe for when you go swimming outside, beautifully made from a quality aspect, and keeps you warm with its internal lining and is windproof to keep the chill ou
The pink fleece lining is a bit synthetic feeling and not sure it would help dry you after wet sports – but the jacket is great for getting changed under. I’m a runner and do paddle boarding so this is ideal for me.
Great sized pockets inside with zips to put anything you don’t want to put down.
Ideal for campers too, and cold wet winter dog walks. So many uses for this – will get lots of use.
The colours are fab, and seems really well made and good quality. Would definitely recommend
