The S in the name Xbox S stands for super, very quick to set. Just follow the QR directions and boom it’s up and running ( this is handy if you already have a Microsoft account) the 3 months of live is built into the system, I hunted for the code in the box! Just plug in update and play.
Really good console that includes 3 months of game pass (for those wondering your console ships with a digital game pass subscription that prompts you to activate while setting up the console). And looking at the gamepass games ther series s can run games at a smooth 120 fps for hours on end. As long as your happy for slightly worse graphics then the series X it runs games just as smoothly

Awesome console works great and is fast and easy to set up but it didn’t come with the 3 months of game pass like it was advertised as and even says on the outer packaging very disappointed child who’s birthday gift is ruined right after Xmas not happy
I’ve always preferred the Xbox to other consoles and this didn’t disappoint. It’s a small box which is nice and neat , it’s all digital – download the games no discs. Which in our house is great as they then can’t get lost / scratched!
When I first opened the box I thought the controller was missing! It’s in the thin box behind console which looks like just part of the cardboard. I would have sent it back thinking parts were missing if my partner didn’t notice!
You can get Roblox/ Netflix/ YouTube and more which my kids were very happy about. They have prime video which is great as I’m a prime member. There’s just so much you can do on this console at such a great price especially as I bought ours heavily discounted right before Christmas! Microsoft have a sale with massive discounts on the downloadable games for the next few days so we’ve been taking advantage of this!
The game pass IS included. People have obviously thought it would come in card form ..I can see why but it is all digital ..you just claim in when you set up the Xbox. It will ask if you want to claim the free 3 months . This will include being able to use Xbox live etc.
We did have problems connecting the wireless controller at first but we plugged it in with a wire and after that it worked wirelessly absolutely fine – no issues since. Would 100 percent recommend this amazing, affordable console.
All in all I think it looks nicer than the Series X.
