We are gradually switching our bike bells from the traditional ‘bell’ design to these slimmer wrap-around bells instead, particularly on our folding bikes where a large, bulky protruding bell can be vulnerable to knocks (see photo). They also perform better in wet weather because there is no cavity to fill with rain and eventually rust.

These offer exceptional value at 2.99 for two. The bells provides good volume when struck and they are not brittle, unlike some we’ve used. However, they have a small diameter of just 22mm so won’t fit all bike handlebars or accessory bars – check before ordering.
