I’m a bit of a sound enthusiast and wanted my ps5 playing sound through my PC, so I could use my pc and ps5 simultaneously and have sound pass through my amp.
When connecting the aux sound card to the in line on my pc there is an horrendous beeping noise that makes you feel like you have tinnitus.
However, connect one of these isolators to each end of the aux and it nullifies that sound to a point where it’s almost not detectable. Great value
Had to try these as I’ve had a persistent ground hum from a specific synthesizer which I just couldn’t dial out. It really does the job – the signal is now clean and clear and the only difference I can see is a cut from about 60hx downwards, but to be honest it’s very mild, and if you generally high-pass your synths as I do you won’t even care about it. There’s a tiny, teeny amount of signal drop but nothing a good mixer/preamp won’t handle easily. Good value and effective.
