    So much fu
We have had so many hours of fun with this product in our house. All of my children have played with this my eight yr old, my 11 yr old, my 12 yr old and my 19-year-old, and even me. We have had countless hours of making and creating, we love the feel and the soft feel of the clay and you get so many different colours. This is a perfect gift for any child.

    Fantastic set, Kids very happy!
Item: Air Dry Clay, 36 Colors Ultra Light Modelling Clay, Non-Toxic Air Drying Clay
    Current Price: 16.99

This set of air drying clay comes with an absolutely massive range of colours, some modelling tools, and an instruction book with step by step instructions for making a few different starter projects.

The clay was all well stored in individual air-tight pots, with none having dried out (a problem we’ve had with different sets in the past).

The clay is bouncier than fimo, play-doh or plasticine, so it has a tendency to spring back when you try to model it, so it takes a little adjustment and a slightly different approach if you are used to those other modelling materials.

The clay doesn’t stain your fingers; tears, rolls and squashes easily; stays flexible and soft for long enough to model with; and dries out completely in a day or so (especially if you put it somwhere warm)
The dried models are extremely lightweight, and any layers, colours or joins adhere well to each other so the whole thing doesn’t just fall apart once it’s dried.

The modelling tools included are ideal for starting out and the designs in the book are simple to follow, letting you make some really cute and fun models. The air-tight pots seal well so the clay can be stored and re-used again at a later date.

Fantastic for keeping the kids busy, with enough clay and colour choices to create a huge range of models and sculptures.

    Great gift idea
This clay set is a great gift option for kids and adults to use together – ideal rainy day activity. i was impressed with how many colors you get included. The tubs aren’t huge but certainly enough to make a variety of things with the tools included.

It comes with a picture instruction book including tutorials on how to make different things.

    great value for money

    Brillia
My kids absolutely love air dry clay. This stuff is like gold dust and they get so excited over it. I much prefer air dry clay to play dough. It’s much nicer, the smell and texture is better. Excellent air fry clay.

    Nice set for the kids.
Lovely little set with plenty of clay included and good range of colours. I like that they come in their own resealable pots as this does help prevent the clay from drying out. It will reconstitute with some water though if you find the clay is getting hard to work with. Also worth varnishing off your final sculpts as they will help with durability.
Overall a good product to keep the kids amused.

    Very comprehensive
This clay set has been a big surprise for me because of the variety of different colours you get, including different shades and pastel style colours too. The amount you get in each pot is pretty nice (about the size of a chicken egg) so you can make a huge variety of things with this set. It also comes with a few small plastic tools to help sculpt, carve and cut the clay.

It comes with a full colour booklet that has plenty of tutorials on how to make all sorts of things, such as a bike, a burger, a telephone or even a variety of animals – it’s almost 40 pages worth of projects to work towards. Each step is clear, with plenty of colour pictures and a brief description of what you need to do, and it guides you through the process very well. It’s extremely well made and is what makes this set more than worth it to me.

    Lovely kit, lots of material
This is a great craft kit for kids! Although the pots are fairly small there are so many different colours, overall there’s a good quantity of material.

It is soft, and has very little (but pleasant) odour. We left it to dry overnight and it did, so you can keep your lovely creations. It dries into a sort of squashy but firm foam.

If you’re looking for this for more professional/hobby adult crafting, you should be aware it’s not at all like regular air dry clay. You won’t get fine detail and it doesn’t dry hard.

The colours stay true after drying so they’re still very bright and the same tone. Overall a really great product for playing with the kids or for crafts.

    Lots of creative fu
The box is approximately the size of an A4 sheet of paper and is approximately 9cm/just over 3.5″ deep. It contains 36 little pots of light, non messy clay in a fantastic selection of colours, from pastels and neutrals to brights, as well as three plastic tools and a guide book. Each tub has a lid so any clay you want to use again after playing with it can be placed back in the tub without worrying that it will dry out.

We’ve had similar types of clay before, and at first some of this clay seemed a bit more moist and slightly sticky than those but once you start to work it, it has the light, stretchy, foam clay texture which we’re used to. The range of colours allows for unlimited creativity, as you can choose to use the colours as they are, or mix two colours together to create additional colours. If you’re not confident on what results you’ll get mixing them, there’s a handy guide in the booklet that comes with the set. The booklet also has step by step pictorial guides to help kids of all ages create lots of fun pieces or they can just unleash their creativity and freestyle it.

When they’ve finished their creation, just leave it out to dry for approximately 24 hours and, unlike traditional clay, it becomes firm yet densely spongey so it isn’t hard or brittle. We discovered that it also makes great bouncing balls and have created several marbled balls by partly mixing different colours.

Really pleased with the quality and value of the product and we have had such a lot of fun playing with it.

    Great little se
This is a great little set of clay pots. There is 36 pots each of them contain a different colour. It also has some small clay tools to work with and an ideas book which is fantastic to give little ones ideas of what to make. We had great fun unboxing this and deciding what to make with it. The clay itself is quite light and has almost a foamy feel to it and is really easy to mould.

    Clay modelling ki
Bigger than expected, lots of different colours and tools within the kit. Perfect for a rainy day activity or something with the kids (and big kids) in the garden. I recommend putting a plastic mat down just to make sure you don’t stain your table top or floor.

    Great gift idea
There is a lot of play value in this kit. Plenty of tubs and colours of the material. To call it ‘clay’ is misleading however. It is a type of stretchy plastic. I expected it to be like playdough but its much lighter and stretches better. It’s good to have a booklet of ideas of what to make. Some simple tools are included which are OK if you had nothing else and this was a gift but really you are better off getting out some safe kitchen equipment or if like me, in an early years setting, use the tools you usually put out with dough. The models are easy to form, although only make small ones as it takes some time to dry out. NOTE once left out and dry, you cannot reuse this material. Its more a craft activity item than a textured play medium for continual use. Great gift for 5-9years.

Really excellent value for £8, there's so many tubs of clay and good instructions
This is a really lovely modelling clay set. I’m not actually sure if it’s ‘normal’ clay as it’s incredibly light, but the colours are great, and it dries well so I’m not going to complain! My nephews and nieces have all had a go at creating some Christmas figures and have loved getting creative. You get tons of pots of clay, and the instruction booklet gives them some great ideas.

Very cool, I can’t fault it for 8! I would say get kids sat with some newspaper down just in case it stains the furniture – I wasn’t going to risk it… 🙂

    Outstanding value for money.
I’m really impressed with this craft set, which offers exceptional value for money.
Positives: Arrived in a box, which is excellent for storage. There are 36 small airtight, brightly coloured pots of clay and tools to work with. Each of the pots contains clay of a different shade.Age guidance and safety warnings are clear. The instruction booklet is 38 pages long, very informative and offers suggestions for various projects.
Negatives: The pots are smaller than the ones used for sauces from an Indian restaurant takeaway so each pot needs to be used sparingly, which children may find hard to do.
I think children will love this kit but some adult assistance will probably be required. It’s a fun activity that doesn’t have to be done all in one sitting and it’s extremely good value. I definitely recommend it.

Kept me and my son busy for hours
Ordered as an activity to do with my son. We decided to make some Christmas decorations for our first try of the clay. You get so many colours it’s incredible- my son was in absolute awe! The pots are quite small but the clay is so light weight that you don’t need much. Its like foam clay and is really super light. Some of the clay feels a bit slimy on first opening but once you mix it up it’s fine. We made a few small ornaments and had a great time!
My only criticism is that the clay gets very stringy and loose when it’s warm and much easier to work with when cold.
Loved the little ideas book that you get free with it it’s got loads of easy models in perfect for kids and easy to understand. The tools are a bit naff but you can’t complain for the price and amount of clay you’re getting.
