Simple to use , perfect crispness
This is a great air fryer , it’s simple to use and i like that you can see inside whilst cooking.
So much quicker and easier than the oven!

If you haven’t converted yet what are you waiting for?!

A good value unit with the advantage of being see-through
Well-built with a range of preset cooking times and manual override
The basket is square which maximises the available space more efficiently than round ones, contains a removable base and you can view the food cooking without having to pull out the drawer (although this is only when the unit is heating as this is the source of the light. A suitably-sized paper or silicon basket can also be used to protect the inside of the drawer
It sits easily on a kitchen surface and looks attractive
Definitely a useful addition to kitchen equipment, is suitable for two people and although there are no suggested recipes provided, there is no shortage of inspiration on the internet
A real bargain as it was on sale with 50% off at 29.99

    Ease of use
All good so far. I have only used it a few times to test it out on a few basics such as bacon, sausage and also fish fillets. Everything has come out perfectly cooked. Easy to use, not complicated at all and the viewing window is a good idea enabling you to keep an eye on what’s going on. As I say so far no complaints.

Fan isn't working at all - UDPATE: I fixed i
I looked at videos of this product and there should be a fan making a noise. This item is totally silent as my fan isn’t operational. I also noticed this is no longer on sale (I got it for just 29.99) so I’m wondering how to fix this ? Without the fan, it doesn’t really cook very well and hardly keeps things warm. The fan must make a large difference to the temperature (the heating element is at the top).

UPDATE: I ripped off the top of the airfryer (it is attached by clips only) and eventually noticed a loose wire that wasn’t connected to the circuit board and had become unclipped. The other end is attached to the motor so this was why it wasn’t working. Maybe it got disconnected during shipping but I find this unlikely as the wire has a pinched clip that isn’t easily dislodged. I’m thinking maybe it left the factory like that. It now works fine after I reattached the wire to the board.

    Perfec
What I love about this is how versatile it is. Cooks pretty much everything with no need to use conventional oven and hob. Even make toast in there. Brilliant
It’s quiet and has many preset programmes to make it easy. It also has a viewing window which is a must for as I like to see how it’s doing.
Great purchase at a bargain price of 34.99
    Love i

    Nice
This is a nice little air fryer with several pre programmed settings which cooks the food really nice. You will need to move the food though, like if you had chips in there, during the cooking process you would need to move them around a few times to get them cooking evenly or else they might just catch on the top. This is easy to use via the settings or you can just set time and temperature to what you want. This is so easy to use and although it looks pretty small I was surprised how much room was inside it. Its easy to keep clean after using,
i found better to clean while still a bit warm.. Good value for money

    Impressed
I bought this as I wanted a small air fryer suitable for one person. I’ve been very impressed so far as it’s very easy to use both the pre programmes and manual. It’s very easy to clean and I’ve made my own liners using circles of greaseproof kitchen paper as prepaid liners are too big.
A lot of the cooking I’ve done has been trial and error on my part but I’m using it a lot more than I thought I would.
I feel that this has been a very good buy.

    Health-first approach to fried treats
Healthier alternatives to traditional frying have always intrigued me. This air fryer caught my attention with its viewable window, allowing me to monitor the cooking progress seamlessly. The array of presets made preparing a diverse range of meals straightforward. Cleaning up was no hassle either, thanks to its non-stick properties. While it met most of my culinary expectations, I did find myself wishing for a tad more capacity. Nonetheless, for a health-conscious food lover, this is a worthy kitchen addition.

    Works well and saves energy
Air fryers have become something of a must in modern kitchens, and this is a straightforward model which is easy to use and at 5L, just the right size for two people. There is a bit of a learning curve and this wasn’t helped by a lack of instruction booklet, but I picked it up quickly enough. Basically if you can cook it in a cooker, this will work at least as well, but a bit faster and using less energy. There’s no preheat function which surprised me a bit, and it is helpful to shake things partway through cooking so they brown evenly. I appreciated the window in the door, it’s easy to clean, and I can see by my smart meter that I am definitely saving money by using this instead of the cooker. At 69.99 at time of review, it will soon pay for itself. I am definitely a convert.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCooks most foods quickly and cheaply
I love air fryers but they do come with a bit of a learning curve, not least because they do not actually fry as what you have is a heat source and a fan to blow the heated air around. They are more like a halogen oven in use.

The Symdral fryer is one of the newer types of air fryer that is multi-purpose and has the ability to cook nearly anything, more quickly than conventional means and using much less electric and needing no pre-heating. Like, I expect many, the first thing I tried was chips and it did cook these well, although you do need to shake and move the chips periodically during the cooking. The end result were perfectly cooked chips that were healthier due to the considerably lower oil content. Onion rings also cooked similarly.

Since this first trial, I have gone on to cook sausages – these also cooked perfectly with a cooked through sausage and a nicely browned outside – and a ‘baked’ sweet potato. This completed in just over half the usual cooking time and was perfectly cooked.

For the simplest cooking, you can choose from the preset modes, controlled from the touch panel on the front. You can also amend the settings by adding extra time on or running in manual mode, where you mainly just need to change the time and temperature to get the perfect cook. The front of the draw also comes with a see-thru front, making it easy to see how the cooking is going, and so you can stop it early if needed.

My next adventure will be to cook a whole chicken. The drawer looks big enough for this and I am hoping gives me a nice cooked and roasted chicken for dinner.

    Inside tray is 19.5cm-19.5
This is a 5l capacity air fryer and if you need some silicone trays the right sizing are 19.5-19.5cm as the usual 21 won’t fit. I know that as I ordered a few and they were to big.The air fryer works well,it is energy efficient and extremely easy to clean. All cooking needs to be turned and the cooking time is not accurate as I had to give more extra time for a proper roast. The insight lighting is not always on ,still you can see the cooking trough the glass window.Overall a nice air fryer for a good price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDecent airfryer but preset functions are annoying
This is the first air fryer I have used, and I am pleasantly surprising by how compact and functional this model is.

The basket is large enough to easily accommodate a meal for 2 people, or as a main dish for 4 persons.

It is very easy to use and operate, and the light and open window are a real bonus to be able to see the food whilst its cooking.

The only downsides are that there is no general mode, so you must choose a preset function and then adapt those settings to the time/temperature that you need.
Secondly, the preset functions are printed in a different order on the top of the air fryer from the buttons on the front, so you must be careful to select the correct one!
Why you cannot simply select time and temperature manually is beyond me!

Lastly, the screen did steam up from within, which may cause an issue with prolonged use but may be a consequence of the type of food cooked.

It is also worth noting that the interior light is not constant — instead, it lights up every minute for about 15 seconds. Presumably, this is an energy-saving measure.

Overall, the build quality is good, and it works as expected, but the user interface could be improved upon.

At 79.99 the price is a little high but there is currently a 30 voucher available (don’t forget to tick this box ) and this makes the price much more reasonable and competitive.

I hope you find my review helpful.

A great addition to the kitchen.
As most people know, air fryers offer the speed of a microwave with the cooking ability of an oven, and this one is a great option if you don’t need a full double draw affair.
It’s a nice modern, sleek design in black and silver with a pull-out draw which has a 5L capacity, so big enough for smaller households, couples etc.
The digital display is clear and easy to read and has a number of pre-set options from chips to fish, as well as allowing you to choose the heat and time yourself if you’d prefer.
With an inbuilt light and a clear draw, it’s easy to keep an eye on what’s cooking, and so far, we have cooked chips, onion rings, chicken, new potatoes and all have come out great, crispy where needed, and moist in the case of the chicken. With the exception of meat, don’t forget to shake the basket though as this keeps things evenly cooked.
It has non-slip feet, isn’t too big so doesn’t take up the whole counter and is easy to clean with the draw being dishwasher friendly.

    Simple Air Frye
Before getting on to the actual air fryer, I thought I should mention that it was sent loose just in a plastic bag then an Amazon box plus no instructions provided. Don’t know if this is as standard or a one off. In any event, the fryer looks good in black and silver to go with most kitchens. There are self explanatory buttons on the top for certain foods e.g. fish and french fries. It’s also possible to set your own temperature/time which I figured out with a bit of playing around. It does cook well, although the timings aren’t particularly quicker than a traditional oven, I believe it does use less energy. Non stick and easy to clean, I will be experimenting with a variety of foods and can see me using this regularly. 4 stars.

    It's alright...
Easy changing the temperature and the time, even for the preseated functions.
The airflow could be better due to the low tray underneath the food, which is not cooking properly and needs to be turned.
Otherwise, a decent quality Airfryer is easy to operate, and what I love the most is that it’s very easy to clean it.
    The baschet is quite small.
When I received the Airfryer, I noticed some scratches on it.

Good, but no user memory and therefore long winder to program
I already use a Masterchef air fryer, so I thought it would be useful to compare this Symdral air fryer as they are both similar capacity and heating technology. The one thing I do love about the Materchecf is the simplicity of operation. No electronics, just simple time and temperature dials… with knobs!

By comparisson, this Symdral air fryer has a touch control panel with 16 touch buttons to control preset cooking modes, time, and temperature settings, and of course an on/off touch button. Already, I’m missing the speed and simplicity of the Masterchef, but are those buttons a better control system?

IF you are like me and our family, we have a washing machine with 30 programmes and we use three; Fast colourds, hot wash and quick wash. Nothing else is used and all those fancy smancy programmes are just a waste of time. I’m wandering if this air fryer is the same…

I usually cook everything on 190 degrees C and just alter the time of cooking to suit, so all I set on the existing fryer is the timer knob. So quick and easy and I get perfect results every time. With the Symdral, I have to select a cooking mode, then adjust the time or temperature that comes up to the one I really want.

Alternatively, I have to press the timer button, then using multiple presses set the time. Again I have to repeat this on the temperature setting. This amounts to as many as 12-15 presses, before the cooker is ready to cook. AND, I can’t save any of my settings to a user memory for next time.

Fortunately, some of the presets are fairly accurate and will cook items like chops or fish quite well, but again it depends on how much you put into the cooking pot as to how well they cook. I honestly think the lack of user setting memory is a huge oversight and leads to too many touch presses to gain the right settings.

GIve me back a temperature knob and a timer Knob. Very low tech, but oh so simple, fast and effective. Ok there are some nice features, such as the internal light, BUT when that viewing glass gets steamed up and greasy, it won’t be that much use.

If I were advising you on how to purchase one of these air fryers, I would say, think carefully what you are really going to use it for, how important is that lovely array of touch buttons and how important is speed, simplicity and ease of use?

If you like the high tech look, then this is for you, but be prepared for lots of finger poking and cleaning to get the most out of this fancy control panel. AND if all you do is fish-fingers and chips in the air fryer, I would suggest you buy something simpler and less sophisticated. IT will please you more in the long run.
