Well made lights
Seems to be sturdy wiring and they look great. Have them up around the house in high winds and rain without problems. Replaced a set from Homebase that broke within hours of being put up.
Amazing
I bought these same lights in 2017 so they’ve been well used all year round was very happy to purchase again after 6 years when the wires to the plug of the old ones disintegrated. They look amazing round my outdoor canopy which is 40ft long.

Premium Christmas Lights!!
Wanted some bright white icicle type Christmas outside lights and had used this brand before. Great options regarding lengths as the bottom set needed to be longer than the top hung ones. There was a few options so was able to choose the exact two sizes I needed. I further ordered some simple gutter S type white plastic hooks with which to hang them and all went on a dream. Very pleased upon reading the instructions to see a 8hr timer ‘built into’ the plug. Simply turn them on at the desired time, double press the green button and done, 8 hrs later they turn off automatically. This then repeats each day, simple but very effective and no need for bulky timer plugs anymore.
8 options for the lights, pulsing, flashing etc. but I choose still all the time.
Very pleased with them, highly recommended.

Unfortunately after around two weeks a section of the lights stopped working….
Contacted customer service…..replied within 2 hours……
They arranged for a full refund into my account without any fuss….

They look cool
Very easy to put up with the aid of some gutter hooks. 7+ metres length is the perfect fit for the width of my bungalow. Plenty of wire between the string of lights and the mains plug. White lights are cool, prefer these to lots of colour and I don’t like the scary ‘blue’ lights, nothing Christmassy about those! Didn’t use the flashy facility, prefer ‘steady on’. Dangling icicle lights can easily tangle so go careful when putting away. I wrap them around a piece of cardboard to make for easier unravelling next Christmas.
Great value
Couldn’t believe the price for the amount of lights. 17m- just what we needed to run the length of our hedge. We have the lights plugged into a smart plug so don’t use the timer function. The only annoying thing with the lights is that we have to click through the functions to static every time we turn them on as they always go on random and we like all our lights to be static.
But for the price you can’t really complain.
Takes time to unravel
Generally very pleased. Could have done with instructions to set up timer but easy enough to solve. It just took a long time to unravel the. light strings, longer than hanging them up! Timer seems a little strange on mine, unlike previous lights. All in all a good product, bright lights.
I purchased these lights in November 2019, unfortunately when I took them out of the box this year some of the lights did not work.
This was over the 2 years warranty.
After posting a question on here the seller got in touch via Amazon and have given me a very generous discount off a new set of lights.
The mark of a good company is how they look after a customer when something goes wrong.

I used these for nearly 3 weeks over the Christmas period. They went up very easily – simply hanging them from the gutter using standard plastic gutter clips that you can buy.
The settings are easy to do because there’s only a single button set on the plug. To use the timer function, simply set it going at the exact time of the day you want it to start. Stays on for 8 hours, then off for 16. There’s a variety of settings for flashing, wave, fade, etc, I just left mine as ‘on’ and they looked great.
They have one minor let down – even though the lights are outdoor lights, the plug is not able to go outdoors. So you have to find a way to run the plug into an indoor socket. For those who have an outdoor plug, like I do, you will clearly see that the plug they come with is not insulated/protected enough for outdoor use.
I read a lot of reviews on this make before purchasing, and there was some criticism about rust spots appearing by/around the bulbs. When I took mine down, there was no evidence of that. I’m hoping that storage for a year won’t make any difference on that issue. We’ll see.
Bright and easy
Just what I was looking for. For years we’ve had outside lights that weren’t quite long enough to go across the whole front of the house and they’ve not been that bright. These ones are perfect. They go all the way across the house, and shine out brilliantly. There are a few different sessions for different types of flashing, but I’ve just got them on all the time. Easy as any other light are to install, and also like other lights I can guarantee that I won’t be able to get them back in to the box at the end of the season, but that’s just what I’m used to.
Great customer sevice
Bought a set of these last year and after taking them out of the box this year to check them, I noticed the LEDs were rusty and a few of them didn’t work. I sent Ansio an email and they refunded me in full. I’ve bought a second set as they look really good so I’m hoping these last longer. If they don’t, I’m confident the customer service team at Ansio will be equally as receptive.

Only negative comment would be that all the lights are on the hanging strings and none are on the horizontal cable.
Perfect outdoor christmas lights
The things I liked about this product, they were exactly what I was looking for in terms of colour and style. A wide range of settings for the flashing lights. I’d definitely reccomend measuring how long you need the lights to be first because we ordered lights that were too long and the excess wire was an inconvenience however that was my fault entirely. On a positive note to that, if these aren’t the right size, there are many other lengths to choose from. What I didn’t like about this product is that there were no clips included for hanging the lights outside and there is no setting where the lights can be switched off therefore you have to just remove from the plug which can be a nightmare for some people especially me as it is difficult to take plugs in an out all the time from behind my tv stand.
Lovely when they work
I bought these lights 29th Nov 2018 and they worked brilliantly. They looked fantastic. In 2019 they also looked excellent. Just put them up today 27th Nov 2020, and they don’t work.
This is not even 2 years of working.
Appears to be a good bit of kit. The wiring harness, wires and bulb mounts seem to be robust enough to withstand a good winter. They are easy enough to install using gutter clips. 50pcs were enough for my 35m. Things I particularly like about them is the display – nice and bright as icicles should be – the long unlit connection wire leading to the full 35m of lit wire, the build quality of the control module, and the memory and built in timer. All these things made it a simple install with a pleasing result.
Hesitations: Longevity – how they will winter the first winter and successive winters. Storage – They will never ever go down to the size box they were delivery in and come the next year the potential to spend hours unravelling meters of knotted wire. At this time I think that the quality of the wiring is such that they are inclined to be tangle resistant. The passage of time will tell, thus the four stars at this stage. At this time (day two after the install) I am pleased with the purchase and the result of the purchase.
Intermittent faul
We tested the lights before putting up (35mt) and found an intermittent fault, which is one of the wires going into the transformer is broken. We have to move the wire to get it to work. Clearly we don’t want to take it down to put back up a new set but are very concerned that the one set won’t last for future years. What do you suggest?

Everything about the lights is spot on,they fit perfectly along the guttering to the front of our bungalow and have the desired effect.Only possible down side for us is that our guttering is white and the wiring is green, didn’t recall any options… but this is being extremely picky. Overall a job well done.Thankyou 2 Years on and days out of warranty having a maximum use of 8 weeks over christmases 2019 and 20 they no longer work.Contacted Ansio through Amazon and they were sticking to warranty period even after getting me to send photos of lights,batchnumber and requesting my address. Best they offered was a 25% discount redeemable after I had paid fully for a new set.Not acceptable, and all Amazon did was pass the buck to the seller.So buyer beware!!!
Delivered fast. Out of the box, it looked like a tangled mess but if you take your time and undo the plastic ties, it simply pulls loose. They are very long. They have green cables and string along the cable to help secure them. Turned them on today to test and working well and look great. Will add more detail after a couple of weeks of use.
I bought these for the memory function. My lights are all on a timer and I hate that other lights reset to the combination mode (switching between each setting) everytime they turn on. These don’t which is great.
The icles are longer than the other ones I have bought in the past, so preference whether you want that or not. They are also more spaced out so if you want to use the full 30m they can look very individual, but you squash them closer like in the picture you will get nearer 20m. They are also not as bright as some of the other ones I have bought but still more than adequate.
When the lights first arrived I was very disappointed, because on the box it says they’re only 14m long. but I thought I’d put them up anyway and then get another smaller pack to finish it off. Well, I’ve just put them up and they’re the correct size 17m! I’m confused as to why it says they’re only 14m on the box. They look beautiful. Definitely a lot more blue then white but I like them.

These replace a set of Tesco LED lights from last year. The Tesco ones worked okay however around 10% of the lights stopped working before Christmas was over.
Its early days however these lights arrived very quickly are very white and bright, which is great (the Tesco LED’s were more yellow).
***THE LIGHTS WORKED REALLY WELL THROUGHOUT THE CHRISTMAS BREAK AND NON OF THE LIGHTS FAILED. THESE WILL BE READY FOR NEXT YEAR IN TIP TOP CONDITION***
The range of programs is good and as usual the first program if left will cycle through all the options in order. This set of lights will also ‘remember’ which program you use, for example if you like the ‘always on steady’ program and have the lights on a timer, it will remember the past program used. Handy.
Overall, I am impressed with my purchase – the price was good (cheaper than Tesco) but time will tell!
The Tesco’s lights have been relegated to the back garden on the garage. I have high hopes for this set – hopefully they will be back on the front of the house next year!
