I am so impressed with this camera, I have had many similar cameras but this is simply the best. From setup to settings it has been brilliant. No connectivity issues at all so not sure why some have mentioned it ? mine is superb. Love the brand and will buy more.
This is a very good camera over all! Video quality is very good, it has an infrared mode as wel which is awesome!!! Battery lasts very long but I suggest to install the solar panel charger which comes with it and you don’t have to charge it anymore! Make sure your wifi router is close to the camera or you can buy a wifi extender for 10 on amazon! I highly recommend this camera for anyone! Thanks!
best picture I have got and even beats the day time dihoom 2k. night camera is not as good but close. bit of a contention with the cloud subscription as it increases in cost of the amount of cameras you are operating, I have three and use micro sd cards to save footage. you could look at using a Vicohome subscription which i use on my cpvan and dihoom which is only 2.50 a month. but for clarity and auto tracking this hard to beat at the price
This camera is absolutely brilliant .
As well has having all the regular setting and functions it also has
voice alert which is very effective and does frighten people off.
Dead easy to install and set up, once done just sit back and relax knowing no one will bother your property.
Will recommend to anyone.

Works well, there is the occasional dropping of the signal as it is at a distance from the WiFi, but easy enough to reconnect. Seems like a decent quality product at a reasonable price. I have the other battery operated cameras and they work well too.
I’ve got two of these cameras on my property and am very impressed with them. They are easy to install and setup, picture quality is fantastic during the day and night, they track motion and there are various AI options to determine if its a person or a vehicle, and to set the area of the picture to detect motion. Videos can be stored locally on a micro SD card and/or in the cloud. I have to say whats impressed me the most though is the first class customer service, that can be easily accessed via the app and they respond very quickly whether is day or night, weekday or weekend. The customer service is also very helpful in answering any queries or dealing with any problems.
I have been wanting to update our static solar cameras for a while now. We have 5 at the moment to cover all the different outside areas of our home. I noticed the aosu camera had good reviews, with excellent definition, panoramic pan & tilt, is something I have wanted for a while but I always ‘made do’ with what I had as they were just too expensive. On delivery I opened the box and reviewed the contents, plugged the camera in to charge then downloaded the app and created an account, an email was received letting me know help is at hand should it be required. Simply turn the camera on, you get “Hello”, you then scan QR code on the camera, and choose your 2.4ghz wifi, enter your password, seconds later its connected, voil. The fastest connection setup I have experienced and without issues. I then started to work through the app, firstly by formatting the Micro SD card, then setting up how I wanted the camera to behave. It’s during the setup that I experienced a very loud voice saying,’warning you have entered ……. ‘I couldn’t fathom out how to stop the notification, so I reached out to support that night, the morning after all was resolved. Thanks, Sophia. There are lots of settings in the app. My only negative would be explanations of them via a better help file would be beneficial.
The connection to the camera is quick, pan & tilt works fab, and autotracking the subject is brilliant. Recording and AI works well. Fab night videos either using IR or white lights.
I will be buying more to swapout the old ones I have. I cannot comment too much on battery life or the solar panel, but they work. I see you can add multiple cameras in the app, how many it will take? I’m sure I will find out. They do offer a 7 day trial for Cloud services, and depending on your requirements, they are very reasonable. I haven’t utilised that.

On reflection – The camera has been up for 3 days and it is still great, but the app is flaky, all I want it to do is record human activity from 8pm to 7am, nice and simple, or so you would think, Support have tried their best to help but something is amiss. I will give it a few more days, see if a miracle happens.
Sadly I have now returned the camera as it doesn’t record at night. It was great during the day. The drain on the battery was a little excessive too. I know the cold weather doesn’t help and in summer it would be great but sadly 1 star drop due to it not doing what it was purchased to do. Some fab features in the app, if only the crucial ones worked for me.
We got this for its tracking capability..as our old system never had capacity to track delivery drives or visitors once they were at the door so needed a track pan and till camera..so we choose this and very glad we did worked straight out of the box with no issues and was tracking straight awayhas a great picture and does what we wanted it to do 100% happy

I bought the doorbell camera and also the attached solar panel of this brand. The video quality is excellent and no cloud storage fees, a bonus.
I purchased the Kingston SanDisk 128GB Ultra microSDXC cards from Amazon and would suggest you format the card within the camera itself during the setup, as easy as pressing a button! (no computer necessary another bonus) before mounting the camera.
Also, connect it to your WiFi before mounting. I had problems with connecting to the camera until I worked out that the antennas needed to be positioned straight up.
I have to mention the outstanding customer service. They responded to my issue well within twenty-four hours. The support was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful.
I wanted a separate solar panel for over the back door so I could place it on the south side of the garden wall which has the most sunlight.
Motion tracking is excellent and both cameras have motion detection which will follow the activity and then return to its original ‘resting’ place that you set up.
Picture quality is more than good enough compared to even some expensive systems still on the market today, and features like 2-way audio mean this delivers a lot of value.
My favourite feature is the people tracking and the ability to illuminate and send pre-recorded messages to any unauthorised activity with voice changer, which is really like magic!
Overall, great value and packed full of features.
Good value for a camera fulfilling all my requirements. Motion sensor tracking, solar, SD card recording (no cloud costs), good customer service. My only criticism would be the camera doesn’t recognise vehicles arriving on my drive – only activates when people get out of the vehicle. Other than that, no complaints, I would definitely recommend.
Seems that it works perfectly until you dare to change any of it’s settings? Or, it’s just perfect for 2 days. Back up the ladder to reinstall the iegeek!
Since placing this review the customer service team have been fantastic, isolated a defective camera and is sending a new one. When the defective one worked it was amazing so updated on this & the assistance to 4 stars
