This is a good budget backpack for short journeys, commuting and airport transfers, for example. This isn’t the sort of backpack for hiking with as there isn’t a waist belt or enough back support. For what it is, though, it does a good job.

There is a lot of room inside with a multitude of pockets and compartments. The laptop compartment doesn’t have very thick padding around it, so be a bit careful how you handle the bag. The built-in charging cable is a nice touch, and its internal cable is long enough for your power bank to go anywhere in that section of the bag without straining the plug.

The material that the compartments are divided with makes a loud, crinkly noise as you root around inside and makes the bag feel a bit cheap, people around you will notice what you’re doing. But elsewhere things feel much better; the zips run smoothly, and all the stitching looks good and strong. The chest strap is a good addition as it makes the bag much more comfortable to carry and helps reduce numb hands that some bags cause by cutting off circulation in the arms.

This bag can’t compete with the expensive brand-name bags in terms of quality and strength but value for money wise, this one is hard to beat.

I’ve been using this backpack for several weeks now for work and occasional trips. Its spacious compartments and multiple pockets keep everything organized and easily accessible. The padded laptop sleeve offers great protection for my device. The comfortable straps and breathable back design make it easy to carry, even when it’s fully loaded. Its durability and water-resistant feature have stood up to daily use and varying weather conditions.

I’ve been on the lookout for a large-capacity backpack that I could keep in the boot of my car with some essentials that I would need when out and about. My previous backpack, although it was waterproof and had a large central packing compartment, it lacked any zipped compartments, hence I wasn’t able to organise my belongings neatly, they were stacked on top of each other and required emptying whenever I needed to find anything.

This backpack, on the other hand, offers plenty of compartments and storage areas. Firstly, it has a total of 15 pockets located around the backpack, which includes an organiser pocket at the front and another at the back. It has a further 3 compartments, one at the front which is ideal for storing a tablet, pens, passport and tickets. The central storage in which you can pack an abundance of things such as clothes, towels, books and a pair of headphones and a zipped compartment at the back which has a padded laptop and tablet pouch. It also has 2 water bottle pockets on either side.

The bag itself is well-made and has clean stitching and reflective strips at the front and back. It has good padding and breathable material at the back and is comfortable to wear. All the zippers run smoothly plus it has clips to hold keys and glasses and a pocket to connect a power bank to charge your phone or tablet on the go. Personally, I’m very impressed with this backpack, its perhaps the one bag I’ll ever need when travelling and offers great value for money.

This is a nicely sized back-pack that’s very suitable for a student or similar. It’s a decent size and has lots of useful storage compartments. A nice feature is the USB charger attachment that can be connected to a power bank inside the bag and accessed from outside. It’s not the best quality but is excellent for the price.

This is a very impressive rucksack, despite being a non-branded product. It’s probably designed for the modern traveller and worker. One of the unique selling-features is its USB linkages. You put your power bank inside and then connect from a port on the outside of the rucksack. I imagine this would be your phone. My only concern with that, would being aware of leaving your phone in an external pouch to charge while in public, in case of theft.

That said it also has room for a very large laptop. Up to 17.6″ according to the specs. The material is water-resistant. Not 100% waterproof, but repels the water.
Two other good features are its well-padded for back comfort and it also has a chest strap so that it can distribute the weight across your body.

It also has a strap that makes it easy to fit on a suitcase handle. So you should be able to breeze through the airport with it on. All the pockets, and there are lots of them, are very sizeable, despite external appearances. This means you could probably pack enough stuff for a weeks trip somewhere if you were a light traveller saving on the baggage fees. Equally works well for overnight work trips where laptop is needed alongside changes of clothes.

At under 30, I think this is excellent value and is just a very cleverly designed and versatile backpack.

My old laptop bag is starting to show it’s age after several years of international travel and so I was keen to try this out.

The two features I was particularly interested in were the external USB port and the luggage strap. Both features that are missing from my old bag.

The USB port is so useful for powering my phone on the move. In the past I’ve had to run the lead out of the bag which is a small security risk as the lead can move the zip to open the bag wider as you’re walking along. This feature solves that issue very well. The hook up to the power pack and the external plug is simple via the supplied lead. The plug can be replaced as it’s merely a shroud into which the USB lead fits. Getting the exact shaped USB lead might provide a challenge as I couldn’t see any spares available on the Ligsan shop on Amazon.

The luggage strap feature is something I’ve been envious of on other people’s laptop bags and so it’s great to finally have this. The only criticism is that when the bag is fully loaded it tends to lean forward. On my other bag the handle was big enough to loop over my suitcase handle – this bag can’t do that. A second strap, higher up would solve this.

The security pouch is a great feature and it’s big enough to hold your passport, wallet and boarding pass(es).

There’s no shortage of pouches for travel adapters, chargers, laser pointers, pens, note books, headphones, power packs etc.

The laptop storage section has good internal padding in the divider but wear it sits against your back there’s no padding which is a little surprising considering the lumber and shoulder padding on the bag – why they didn’t extend this for the whole back area is a mystery.

There’s a quick release fob that you can put on your key ring so that when travelling you can clip your keys into your bag and access them easily on your return (no rummaging around the bottom of the case). The only improvement I would suggest to this would be to make it a keychain clip or carabiner type so that you don’t have to have the fob permanently attached to your keys or constantly putting them on it and taking them off it.

Otherwise I’ve been really impressed with this case and would definitely recommend it.

Good size back pack which fits a 16.5 inch laptop. Plenty of internal storage and compartments. Made well with good material and robust. Not too heavy. Material can be wiped down too. Straps adjustable and really handy USB cable built into it so you connect to a laptop in the bag to charge phones too. Would recommend.

I have purchased a lot of items from Amazon and after examining this item against a similar item I had obtained some years ago at a similar price, it made me realise how much things have risen in price. May I say at this point that there is nothing wrong with this item, it just doesn’t feel as solid as my first rucksack.

Increasingly I am walking to our local town, mainly because the exercise is good for me but also because our parking situation is becoming dire, as are parking charges. it is in that regard that this lightweight, yet spacious rucksack is coming into its own. There is a very informative video to accompany the description of this item, which demonstrates how you can fit a laptop, tablet, phone (using the internal USB port for charging when connected to a power bank) clothes etc etc etc. I might use it for that purpose, in particular as it is small enough to be used as cabin luggage if required. Instead I use mine for routine journeys into town, whether on foot, bike or car. The bag possesses:

+. Two cavernous internal compartments, both of which have additional pockets for power supplies and a whole plethora of items to carry on your travels.
+. Two external pockets on the front, both of which have additional internal pockets for whatever you wish to carry.
+. Two mesh side pockets for drinks etc
+. A secure zipped mesh pocket on the pack which to gain access to ithe rucksack has to be removed.

In terms of construction, whilst lightweight, there is no compromise on strength and I anticipate that this value item would be ideal for anyone who might wish to subject it to some rough treatment; a teenager’s bag for school might be appropriate. The bag is comfortable to carry and whilst I would prefer the harness straps to have a little more padding, bearing in mind the price of this item, the straps are adequate when carrying loads of 10-15kg. There are two additional handles for when carrying the bag as hand baggage.

I have taken this item out in quite heavy rain without water ingress, it is simple to clean inside and outside, wiping over with a damped micro-fibre cloth.

In summary, strong, lightweight, plenty of storage options and competitively priced. It is versatile and could be used for business, travel or in my case as a utility bag for carrying possessions back and forward to town, including shopping.

This backpack has everything you’ll need for use on as daily basis. It has multiple compartments and plenty of room for just about any sized laptop. There are plenty of loops and handles for securing any keys etc and has a handy USB pass-through port for using headphones or maybe a charging power-bank. Quality wise it is reasonably well constructed and should provide several years of daily use without any worries. It is well padded, comfortable to wear and the zips are good quality.

I have to confess that I have a bit of a thing for laptop bags and manage to get through them at quite a rate as I throw them around on my travels. So when I got this one, I was pleased for several reasons.

Firstly, it is lightweight but feels high quality. Everything, from the stitching to the material used and the zips, seems to be of a high standard.

Secondly, it has a lot of pockets. I am a stickler for having a place for everything and everything being in its place, so I prefer bags with lots of places to put things. This way I know exactly where my powerbank will be, my glasses, my passport, my HDMI lead, etc. I think this bag has more pockets than any I’ve had previously, which is great.

Thirdly, there are a lot of zipped pockets. I prefer some things to be secure, such as my passport, tickets, and credit cards, and this bag has many zipped pockets both on the outside and the inside.

Lastly, I really like the hidden zippered compartment on the back of the rucksack. This means there is no way anyone can steal anything from there without my knowledge, i.e., they’d have to physically get there hand between the bag and my back. So it makes this pocket ideal for things like money and passports.

A few other good points are that the carry handle on the top is nicely padded, as are the two shoulder straps; there is built-in ability to charge your phone, but you’d need your own powerpack, but pretty much any would fit nicely; and the colours on the shoulder strap make it stand out a little from all the other black bags going around on the carousel in the airport.

As for negatives, I can’t really think of any. For the money, it is excellent, and if a black rucksack-style bag is what you are after, you won’t be disappointed.

For the price this is a good backpack and the positives outweigh the negatives. And there are a few small shortcomings.

    Pros:
    Good size backpack.
So many compartments that are great for keeping all of your stuff separate and easy to find. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bag with more.
    Charge port on outside.
    Nicely finished with good detailing.
    Detachable keychain.
We’ve had one of these before and they are quite durable.
    Reflective strips.

    Cons:
No rubber feet or water protection on the bottom.
Thin padding around devices. I’d definitely keep your computer in a case in this. If you bang the bag down there’s not much to prevent damage to the computer.
Straps and handle could have better padding. Fine for a commute but won’t be great long distance.
Zips not sealed so won’t be waterproof.
Charger on outside is from USB A so won’t be fast charging.
Insides made of thin scratchy plastic material.

I’m giving this 5* due to the price. You get a good size backpack that looks nice on the outside. I’m not sure why they sew the brand name onto the shell as it’s not a seller. But overall it is good. We’ve had one of their other backpacks for a year and it has aged well. Eventually the bottle holder nets went but that was about it and our boy took it to school every day. It took a beating. The thin padding and scratchy materials inside are the only real downsides. You get a good size bag with so so many pockets. I think it’s good value and I’d recommend. 5*
