    Excellent, strong and long
Despite the presence of a feral cat, the pesky rabbits have got into the garden and scoffed the cabbage. They are now poised to attack anything else not yet sealed off so these metal pegs were perfect for securing some protective chicken wire in place before any further damage is done.

Heavy, strong and extra-long, they are excellent quality pegs and superior to others I have used in the past. They are also great value for money and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

    Good & sturdy, very sharp
I’ve got these in readiness for erecting two very large tent-like greenhouses in the Summer.
I intend to use them for fixing the additional guy ropes I’m going to have and for additional fixings for the metal tubes that run around their bases.

I’ve just done a few experimental tests so far. I’ve stuck them in the ground, wrapped a guy rope around them at an angle and yanked away to see if they come out or bend too easily.
    – They pass this test.
    – I’ve also been impressed with their sharpness and hence the ease with which I can stick them in the ground. None of my previous tent / garden pegs were anything like this sharp.
    – They are quite sturdy. The metal is 3mm diameter.

Used To Hold Foam Oasis Togethe
My friend wanted a floral tribute in the shape of a ‘hairbrush’ but with 7 different pieces of foam to hold together, I needed something strong and large enough to hold all the pieces.

These pegs worked just as I hoped and has kept the structure intact.

    Sharp pegs
I use tons of these pegs on the allotment – to fix things like insect netting, insulating fleece and even cardboard in place. The allotment is very windy and we also have visits from a couple of neighbour cats who love to dig in the beds and need barriers to put them off. So it’s essential to use pegs that can keep material in place despite the weather and the wildlife.
These pegs are relatively thin – useful when you are securing finer mesh and fleece, where making bigger holes may cause tears – and sharp. The sharpened points push easily through thick cardboard. The squared tops hold the material securely flush to the soil, so the insect-proofing is effective. While there is nothing very high-tech about these pegs they are a good version of a simple, essential item if you do a bit of vegetable gardening or need to protect your delicate ornamentals from winter weather.

    Used to secure artificial grass
We have a drive way that is at an upwards incline from the house and a drive that is quite narrow for our car and passengers to get in and out of the car.

We have created a muddy surface by placing the car half on the grass and with the winter coming we almost got stuck as the front wheels were slipping in the damaged grass that we have caused.

Got some artificial grass and used plenty of these pegs to hold down the artificial grass. I was not sure how strong these pegs would be as we will be doing hills starts on the artificial grass each time we use the car.

I must have spaced them out every 20 to 30 cm and the artificial grass did not move and the tyre found the artificial grass grippy so now we should not get stuck on the drive this winter.

    Quite impressed.

    High Quality Galvanised Steel
I’ve been having problems with foxes in the garden over the last year or so and the red furred varmints have been constantly excavating a border and ruining part of a lawn, in an attempt to dig out a den.

Come the spring I’ll be re-seeding and putting down some chicken wire or similar, which I’ll be fastening down with these pegs which look like they will do the job just fine. They’re 6″ long, so I should be able to hammer them in deep and they’re very strong. No fox will be forcing them out while the new grass is growing – at least that’s the plan. Other deterrents will then be called for but this is one war I’m determined to win.

At around 6 for a pack of 50, these galvanised stakes are high quality steel and represent great value for your money.
