This heater was bought as a Christmas present for a friend. I tried it out to make sure it worked etc before gave it to her.
It worked so well and was so cheap to run ( and to buy) I bought one for myself. I had originally seen it on a list of the best, cheap to run heaters of 2023, and I have to say they were right. It heats a small bedroom in minutes and our larger one in about 10 minutes. So much so you have to turn it off.
    Highly recommended

I have had an almost identical Beldray heater for at least 5 years used mainly in a caravan. Last year during the coldest winter months it ran for a period of four months without fault for many hours each day. It remains in the caravan and this new purchase is in use at home.
It is a Which.com choice. It is plastic but very solid, has a choice of 1000 or 2000watt , a thermostat and cold air option. Like many heaters there is a noticeable time lapse between the thermostat shutting of and restarting. It can be used flat or on four sturdy legs. Designed to stand securely and is very compact I doubt you can do better at just under 20 pounds.

I live in a house that is full of storage heaters so heat-on-demand is a gift and this little fan-heater does the job. Ideal for 1-2 persons. I have been using it heavily for 2 months and it’s reasonably quiet for a person who sleeps with the fan ON. You might also want to know that there is no temperature feedback to ON/OFF it automatically. So I would not recommend this for an overnight fan, but, it works brilliantly as a quick morning boost.

Bought through an article in Which magazine, we are trying to see on central heating, this one went to my daughter’s bedroom. The heat is great, it fills the room with warm air, it is a bit unstable if you have it standing up but on horizontal is great. The only drawback is the noise…. it is VERY loud, but as she uses when waking up and then to get in bed, we are very very happy with it, the price makes up for the noise! Would not recommend if you have small children, but most definitely works to heat a room quite fast, and, once again, great price.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWith all the cold weather arriving I needed a back-up. “Be prepared – Dib Dib Dib”
This Beldray Fan is brilliant, I’m using it now on the lowest setting in a medium-sized room and the difference is substantial, that much I’ve turned the heating off. After 5-10 minutes the room was toasty.
As an asthma sufferer, this is a breath of fresh air, taking the cold snap out of the house.
The only thing I suggest is to use an extension lead if sockets aren’t suitably placed, the cable is rather short.

It also has a cool ventilator function which is handy and the price is not to be sniffed at.
    I would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI bought this to use in the bathroom (taking care not to touch with wet hands etc) which is a reasonable size. I put it on about 5 minutes before I go to have a shower as the bathroom becomes so steamy and full of condensation when I shower with no heating. It has made a big difference although there is still condensation on the mirrors etc but at least it’s no longer like a steam room and I can see from one side to the other. In addition, its so good to get out and not freeze!

The heat output is not massive – but it’s enough to take the edge off. It is lightweight and easily manoeuvrable and is better than I thought it would be when I unpacked it. I did wonder if it would do it’s job and it has and apparently is cheap to run.

The downside is that once I’m in the bathroom, I don’t want to go back into the cold house!
