It’s bright, very bright if you want it to be, this will work well in road or off road, no question.
Good to have wide beam and narrower beam as well.
Feels well made and had a bit of worthy to it, no doubt due to the batteries.
The only drawback is the flash mode. It only really has one flash, which is very fast, fast enough to induce a seizure in drivers if you’re not careful.
Ideally it would have a couple of flash options so you could have the main lamp on for seeing the road and a flash in the wide lamp for drawing attention.
I have an extra flashing light so this isn’t too much of a concern for me.

It is difficult to complain at the price. I have had no problem charging. As other reviewers said, nicely finished.
But not really super bright. Absolutely fine on the road. On our unfinished lane with deep puddles and a need for a bit of “technical” riding, I could have done with something brighter. So, I use it as a second light with a more powerful main spot light. That works very well, especially with the flashing function. The little side lights are ha dy to illuminate my speedo screen.

I brought these as a second set incase I lose power on my primary lights by cateye. But these ate outstanding value. They offer great brightness. They come with their own fixing mount. So will not fit with the generic cat eye mounts for example. But still amazing quality and value.
OK, so the light itself is incredibly bright with lots of different modes, but by far the biggest positive is the spread of light, and the time remaining until it goes flat. Basically have it set to brightest mode gives you 1hr 15 minutes but if you switch to a lower mode as you get closer to zero bat it will change the time remaining accordingly. Have used these for a week now and very impressed. Light pattern for the front is well designed and thoughtful. Gives a brilliant T shaped spread, lights the area directly in front of your wheel with then a broad spread to cover a wider area further away.
Why others don’t adopt this is silly, works so well.
Light is well made, charges in a few hours and using for 40 mins a day for days have yet to recharge the front light.
The rear is bright easy to fit but being small has less capacity for battery so needs charging more often.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend these lights to any cyclist.
