Great product at a fair price
Until now, I have attached my mobile phone holder to the ventilation slats. This was no longer possible due to a switch from TT to Mini. The ventilation outlets on the mini are round and the old bracket could not be attached there. For this reason, I had to look for an alternative. Then this came along. With the ability y to attach them to the dashboard, I chose this item. Before I attached the holder with the included suction cup, I cleaned the surface properly and then stuck it on. The arm and the support plate can be adjusted to suit your own taste. Due to the mounting technology, different smartphone sizes are no problem. I’ve been using the mount for several weeks and it still sticks like a one. I am really impressed, even friends of mine are amazed that this holder also sticks to the dashboard.

We’ve tried so many phone holders for the car – finally found one that does the job properly.
Our dash is both curved and textured with only one flat tray area – so mounting has to be there or on glass. Vent phone holders just don’t support well enough. Every other holder we’ve had has either broken after repeated use, or comes unstuck with temperature changes or vibration. Not this one, it’s superb.
The suction is very strong – it just doesn’t budge at all. The unit is very sturdy and well put together, and allows you to angle it how you want. Inserting and removing the phone is easy but really secure. It also comes with attachments to help keep your cable tidy and out of the way.
Overall I just can’t fault it, a great bit of kit.

My last phone holder was about 20, stuck to the dash. This one is less than half that so wasnt expecting great things but so far its proven pretty good.
Its got plenty of room for adjustment, including being it forward due to the adjustable arm. The suction is great, its stuck on my dash, left of the steering wheel currently and so far not moved. I use a Pixel 6 phone in it and have set it so the bottom of the phone rests on the dash so its not bouncing all over the place. This helps reduce leverage that might yank it off otherwise.
The arms grip the phone really well and despite having a thick case its got enough grab to hold it tight.
Theres the option to put it on the air vent but that will just bake the phone when the heatings on, never a good idea.
Overall, really good for the price, would recommend.

Surprisingly good!
Excellent price vs performance ratio, so on arrival it was better than I expected. My s20 with huge case on fits nicely. It comes with a handy vent adapter so I can choose to use the cradle with my ipod. The cradle has a smooth glide to it so doesn’t feel nasty. But remember the cost vs performance is appropriate. Fitting. I liberally cleaned the screen with ISP solution, fixed as instructed, BUT, I left it about 5 days before using it.

We have the Peugeot Partner, and because of the design of the dashboard, weird air vents it’s been really hard to get a decent phone older. This one is really good, everything is adjustable and the mount for sticking things to works exceptionally well.
We ended up mounting it to the windscreen upside down, and using the arm to expend half way out so we could get our phone positioned, and then tightened up the knobs. Really impressed by how well it can be positioned. I think it’d be hard pushed not to find a car this wouldn’t fit.
The phone holder itself is nice and strong, and holds our large Motorola Action phone with ease. The base of the cradle has a notch out of it so USB can be connected to it, and the side arms are rubberised so grip really well. Have done around 150 miles with it so far and not had an issue with it moving, the phone coming loose, or it unsticking from the window.
To remove the phone, simply press the buttons together on the side and the gripping arms slowly expand allowing you to simply take the phone with ease.
In the pack it comes with a vent attachment that acts as a clamp that can be used as an expanding or gripping on a screw fixture. This has a ball mount on the other end. Then there is the arm with sticky compression suction cup. Not simply a rubber suction cup, it’s actually sticky as well, and they provide some wet wipes to ensure the surface is clean before you use it. I’ll probably stick to the dash of most cars because of this as well, you just need a flat enough surface. Again, the arm has a ball mount on the other end. The cradle, is what the ball fits into, with a sleave locking nut. This does mean you can twist the cradle and have it horizontal or vertical mounted as well, even after you’ve set it up.

Strong enough frame for mounting in a car on the dash or windscreen, very strong adhesive on the suction cup so it’s very secure.
The holder is nice and provides good grip on my device, it also has an opening button that detracts the side grips when held down so you don’t need to fiddle about with pulling the two sides apart like some that are pulled together via a spring loaded mechanism, to close it just sit your phone in the stand and squeeze the side together until it’s secure.
The arm has some good mobility as the holder rotates on a ball head for easy position tilting and the arm itself is loosened and tightened by a plastic screw on the side once you’ve found the best position for you.
This bundle also includes a heating vent phone holder so if you’d prefer to not mess around clamping the arm on to your dash or windscreen, this other method is quicker and doesn’t take much time to screw the rubberised clamp down securely to a vent panel and a rubber adhesive phone charger cable holder.
Overall for 7.99 this is a bargain price compared to similar car phone holder bundles!

Suction phone holder: a bit fiddly but works well.
I got this phone holder on a suggestion from my husband. He has one and finds it extremely useful.
I’m not as techy as him so found it a bit fiddly to install – just in finding the right place for it in the car, and the right angle to have the phone in the right position for me.
Once I’d played wiht that, it was a doddle. There are two options for fixing it to the car – firstly the suction cup and then the air vent pincers.
Initially I was concerned that it would be single use only, as the suction cup appeared to be sticky. Then I figured out it’s a ‘silicone sticky’ and can indeed be removed and replaced if you wash and air dry the sticky part.
I did try the air vent pincer but found it not particularly good for my air vents – it just kept flopping.
So, I went with the suction and suckered it to the bottom of the windscreen.
It comes in two parts, the bit that holds the phone and the bit that fastens to the car – they then fit together with a ball and socket and a nut to tighten. There are multiple places on the unit to adjust the angle, which is really very useful for all the different potential dashboard configurations.
Finally the phone sits in a little cradle and the sides squeeze in to hold it in place. Buttons below them pop the sides open when you want to remove the phone.
All in all a very useful bit of kit, especially for GPS apps, and I’m glad to have it.
Sturdily built, easy to fit, feels securely held by suction cup
This holder adjust for both angle and length and will extend up to 15cm from the hinge on the base (if using the suction cup fitting) – also provided is a screw tight clamp to fit it onto the ventilator grille of the car.
The arms that clamp the side of the phone have a rubberised silicon lining that provides a firm, but gentle, hold on the phone, the bottom stand extends by 15mm and has a cut-out for the phone’s power cable.
Also provided is a self-adhesive cable tidy to hold the cable when not in use.
A comprehensive manual is provided with instructions for best fitting practise, a QR code to a video guide is on the front cover of the manual, for those who might need a helping hand.
My holder is fitted onto a plastic disc stuck to the dashboard of the car (ex sat-nav use) and is attached very firmly by the suction cup – pulling on it I found the adhesive on the disc starting to ‘give’ rather than the holder popping off, very encouraging!
I’m happy enough, I can now see Google maps ‘sat-nav’ in front of me, rather than on the centre console, so shouldn’t be making wrong turns when Google is a bit early with a direction.

I have seen plenty of in-car mobile phone holders over the years, and seen how much they have evolved in that time. I can honestly say that this HTU cell phone holder is probably the best one I’ve seen so far, and is especially good at this very reasonable price point
The holder has really wide opening jaws which is very important if you have a large phone with a protective case like mine. it is super easy to install the phone into the holder by squeezing the holding jaws at both sides. to release your phone you simply give the two tabs underneath the jaws a quick squeeze and the jaws smoothly open with a very satisfying gliding action.

Very versatile option.
The car phone holder has the ability to be used either attached to the windscreen (or any other glass or other smooth surface) via a suction cup, or alternatively can be used by attaching to the vents in you car, whichever offers you the best placement for your needs. Not only does it offer a suction cup that has a lever to clamp down, but it’s also incredibly sticky substance on the suction cup that is very tacky, like glue. It would therefore be wise to thoroughly clean the area you wish to place the holder before removing the sucker protection film, making sure it is then completely dry before affixing in place as it really does grab hold securely. I’m not saying it will never come off once attached, if you need to reposition, but it might prove to be awkward. Once placed in the correct position, simply tighten the mount up to ensure that once your phone is positioned within the holder, it doesn’t slip.
Once correctly assembled and situated, simply press the button on the left of the holder and the arms will open up allowing you to position your phone within. Then simply close the arms snuggly around your phone and it will stay in place. So far I have never once needed to reposition anything and the phone has remained exactly where it was placed. No sign of wobbling whilst driving, it’s rock steady. My air vents don’t really seem to be ideal for what they give, but I’m more than happy with the suction mount and how I’ve managed to position it.
Having owned this type of mount previously, I wouldn’t be surprised if during the baking hot sun on the 3 days of Summer we get here in the UK, if the sticky suction mount falls off, they generally do. But I’ve also never had trouble fitting them back exactly where they were before, once the glass cooled down. The only reason I don’t still have my old one is that I forgot to remove it when I got rid of the car.

I’m using the screw attachment in my car, so I can’t comment on how well the suction fitting works.
The screw attachment was very easy to fit as it just clamps to the air vent. I like that the phone release buttons are at the side, as this makes it easy to release the phone (others I’ve used have the release in the back, but that’s very awkward because of where I want the phone holder to be placed). I have a Huawei P30 Pro, which fits comfortably.
The only downside is that the phone and mount sit right in front of the vent, so when I have the heating on in the car I am worried that the phone will get too hot.

This is a sturdy mobile phone holder for your car.
My car has a little area to put your phone in, next to a USB port .. but obviously the manufacturer didn’t bother actually measuring a mobile phone before working out how much space to allow – which just isn’t big enough to hold a phone. So I’ve been battling to position the phone so that the cable doesn’t get in the way, and the phone doesn’t get in the way of the gear stick.
This solves that problem. I’ve actually used the air-vent clip which was easy to install and is stable to use. The phone holder itself is flexible so you can change the angle of your phone, and holds the phone firmly with cushioned sides which release their grip at the press of a button. The fact that the button starts a slow-release of the sides simply gives it a little more class. The only thing I was a little concerned with was that the air-vent clip didn’t feel very secure/permanent. I have, however, used the car multiple times now with this attached and not had any problems, so perhaps thats more to do with the car vent itself, than the holder.
As for the alternative method of connecting – I didn’t try it properly as my dash is rather high up and curved, and not smooth, so it didn’t feel like it was appropriate to have it up there, however, there is a very “tacky” base on the phone holder (which is washable to reactivate the tackiness if needed), which helps secure a seal to the dashboard, and then a flip-button that creates the vacuum that then secures it to the car. I have no doubt that, with the appropriate dash, it would work perfectly well.
The pack also comes with a soft-feel cable clip which is just an added bonus.
Mobile phone car mount.
Ordered this for my other half’s car as she was fed up with her phone dropping out of the dashboard. Whilst it took a while to find a position for it where it didn’t keep falling off, once it found a spot, it stuck pretty well, and she’s very happy with it. Highly recommended.
Hold phone in place
The option for vent or suction fixing is useful as if one does not work then you can use the other. I ended up using the vent option as suction on windscreen put phone too far away and in way of vision.
The arms are just big enough to hold the phone with a wallet like cover on with the cover folded back. The vent clip is a little short but releases easily.
The cable clip/tidy is a useful addition.
Best car phone mount I've used
There are so many ways to adjust it, and the suction is so strong that this is the perfect phone mount. I would recommend it to everyone. I only used the suction option and not the back that attaches to the vent, so I can’t comment on that. I have a large gap/space between between the front windscreen and where I can reach, and the extendable holder was just perfect.
The suction cup even worked on my mum’s car front which is slightly textured and curved. Although I don’t move it much, I put it up and left it for weeks before moving it again, so I don’t know if it would stay strong with repeated removing and mounting.

I am giving this 5 start ratings as in my opinion the HTU Car Phone Holder Mount as it truly deserves it! I waited a few weeks to review this as I wanted to make sure it did perform outstanding and it absolutely has done this and at a great price.
If you are like myself, and in need of a properly strong car phone mount in your vehicle then I would sincerely recommend this product. It is easy to install, fully adjustable for viewing angles with (left, right, up and down) as well as easily adjusting to a smaller phone all the way to the big 6.7 inch big phones like the bigger Apple iPhones and Androd phones. And opens to hold the phone with a simple button click and then you can close the mount to securely hold your phone.
The mount also has the ability to “extend” several inches in length and can be tightened to remain at the desired and or required length to get you phone in a perfect viewing angles.
The suction mount is extremely secure and super strong. It can easily hold a larger and heavier phone and you will be ensured it will keep you device in the mount even in the worst possible road conditions, speed bumps etc. I honestly tried to get this to move/bounce when holding my phone and no matter what it safely and securely held my phone in place and never moved. I also tested it in a really hot car and also in super cold conditions (-2 degress celsius) to see if it lost suction or felt loose and it never did.
I cannot recommend this mount any higher or I would. Exceptional mount, exceptional price and comes with options for air vents (never used) but they are there if you need them. The suction cup is cleanable and as long as you apply it to a clean area and ensure the mount suction cup is also clean and dry it will keep you phone super secure!

Phone holder that I use in the va
Because the van is already overcrowded with stuff that I have inside and also that my colleagues use every day because I’m not the only one who is driving this vehicle I have decided that it is the right time to get a phone holder that everybody can use that I can put easily on the dashboard in the middle and I saw this one which has an interesting functionality.
To set this up was very simple I just had to connect the holder that goes on the dashboard and then remove the protection of the sticky pad and I have found the right spot for it and press it properly kept it for around 10 minutes obviously outside to press the lock button and ever since it is holding very well.
I like the fact that I can change the position of a 360 degrees and for example when I am not driving and my colleague is next to me I can easily rotate the holder in order for him to see what is on the phone and also I can adjust the length of the support that holds the phone and even though it is in the van since I have installed it so far it proves to work just fine, it holds the phones pretty well even when for example I drive on bumpy roads so from my side everything is just fine with this product.
