Intermittently works
I haven’t been able to get this to work well consistently. There is no way of knowing whether this will work or not, some days it does, some days it doesn’t. That said, it is also unclear whether the issue is the car or this device – on that basis and the assumption that it could equally be the car or the device, I have based my review on when the device works.
While it doesn’t feel like a quality built product, when working it is fairly faultless – that is to say that the connection is consistent and reliable, does car play well and you wouldn’t know the difference between wired and non-wired – which I suppose is all that matters really.
A handy adapter.
This carplay adapter allows you to connect to your center console easily and wirelessly.
It only needs to be paired once and then will automatically connect each time thereafter, which is convenient.
So far, it’s done a good job and kept a stable connection, allowing me to use my phone for music and as a sat nav without issue.
All in all, it’s a handy adapter.
A great way to car play!
This is a great little adaptor to convert a car to use wireless CarPlay.
it’s important to note that your car has to support CarPlay via USB in the first place, but providing it does, it’s really easy to get up and running wirelessly.
This is a tidy little adaptor, which can be tucked away unobtrusively in the car, and i was impressed to note that compared to a similar adaptor i had in the car previously, this one connected much faster and CarPlay was up and running very quickly.
Once it’s active, it’s completely seamless and simple to use so I’m giving this one a well deserved 5 as it does exactly what you need, at a very reasonable cost.
