Conclusions:
Si vous avez une vieille voiture et que vous voulez la transformer en navette spatiale (faon de parler, hein), le Carpuride C3, c’est ce qu’il vous faut. En plus j’ai eu un bon prix au moment de l’achat (pens vrifier les coupons.)
Blackbox
If you have a blackbox that’s watch’s if you’re on your phone, connect the car play through Bluetooth and it doesn’t show you’re on your phone, good quality, came really fast and fits and sticks perfectly on my dash, 5 start’s all round
Great Piece of Ki
Great low cost alternative to having a Car Play unit fitted into the fascia. Does everything I want it to, with the advantage of a personalised boot-up screen at no extra cost.
Love it!
I have been after one of these for so long! I’m always jealous of my husbands car with the big screen for his music and navigation etc, and now I can bring my 10 plus year old car up to date!
Really easy to set up. Sharp looking screen. Can be attached easily enough. Highly recommend.
Works as a perfect Apply CarPlay screen for cars that don’t have it built in.
Very easy to setup. Pretty much just plug & play.
Sound quality from the screen itself is quiet, but the ability to play through your car’s AUX makes up for that.
I have to say, I had my doubts on buying this over going for a new head unit. But I’m so glad I got it. It comes really nicely packaged and is very easy to set up. I have no aux port on my old car so choose the fm option to get the sound to my car stereo, it’s absolutely flawless and again, easy to set up. Apple car play is superb, the sound quality is brilliant, plus, you can simply take it out when you leave the car and pop it into a bag out your pocket. The ONLY two things I would say, which are minor, are that it doesn’t charge using USB and that you don’t get any kind of carry pouch or kind of wallet to put it into when it’s not in the car.. I’m buying a second one for my other car next week, so those minor points are nothing really. Overall I would 100% recommend this to anyone!
Auto Car Stereo
Arrived well packaged no problems there
Great car screen . Good quality and well made. You can do lots on it, easy enough to set up. Have no problems with it at all thank you
The Carpuride C3 unit is referred to by the manufacturer as its “best budget-friendly smart multimedia dashboard console”. That’s a fair statement, as the C3 is much cheaper than Carpuride’s other dashboard consoles such as the W900 range (W901 Pro, etc.), some of which cost twice as much as the C3. Despite this price difference, the C3 has all the functionality of the more expensive Carpuride models. Like them, it’s compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making it suitable for practically all smartphone users. Also like the more expensive dashboard consoles, the C3 unit features a sensitive full-colour touchscreen with a host of features. Perfect.
The C3 comes with a detachable sunshade screen that renders the display easier to read in bright sunlight. Why don’t satnavs come with that same feature? They should.
Two brackets are included in the box: one for attaching to a dashboard, the other for mounting on a windscreen. Both brackets are sturdily built and provide a stable fixture for your C3 unit.
The C3 supports three different voice-control protocols: Apple Siri, Android Voice Control, and Google Assistant. Ideal for operating the unit in a hands-free way, allowing you to keep your hands where they should be while you drive (on the steering wheel!).
There are three sound-output options too: FM transmitter, AUX cable, or built-in 2W speaker. Like everything else about this unit, these sound options seem to have been designed for maximum user-friendliness. Rather than dictating how the unit operates, the manufacturer has left that very much up to the user. I like that.
No criticisms at all. The C3 is a fairly priced and versatile piece of kit for any motor vehicle.
Good for Google maps.
This apple car play does feel good quality and the suction cup for placing it on the dash board works really well. This apple car play is great for things like Google maps and Spotify but you do need to connect it via aux cable if you want it playing threw the car speakers. It was easy enough to connect via Bluetooth to me phone and set up was easy too. I found it to be a little bit temperamental some times where it won’t let you access some settings because it thinks you are driving or something. The screen is a good size and the touch sensitive is good also. Over all I think it’s great for google maps which is the main thing I’d use it for.
Handy for older cars but not perfec
My older car doesn’t have the features found in a modern vehicle, so no built-in sat-nav, DAB or touch screen controls for music. This device offers the chance to upgrade relatively simply, and at a lower cost than buying an upgrade to the car’s stereo. The set includes the screen, and the various parts that are needed to set it up. An instruction book is included but to be fair it I didn’t find it as informative as it should have been. A big issue for me has been that the power supply to the screen can only be made to a 12v outlet, with no option to hard-wire or use a USB outlet. That’s a great shame for me as my 12v outlet was already taken to power a dashcam via USB, and I’ve had to buy and use an extra 12v adapter in order to use this device.
Connecting to my Android phone works well enough with Bluetooth for many functions which is good, but as this device is designed to be used in older cars (without built-in displays for example) some extra flexibility with power seems an essential to me. Overall I quite like the device but there are pitfalls I hadn’t expected which make regular use of this it a less attractive option than simply using my phone in a cradle. It is a handy device for those whose car doesn’t have modern features but it isn’t perfect.
A Game-Changer for My Car: Seamless Connectivity and Beyond
The 7-inch HD touchscreen is not only visually pleasing but highly responsive, making it easy to navigate through various features. The integration of both Apple Carplay and Android Auto is a standout feature, ensuring seamless connectivity regardless of the smartphone I’m using. This dual compatibility is a big plus in my opinion.
AirPlay Mirror Link adds another dimension to the functionality. I can now mirror my phone’s screen on the stereo, which comes in handy for various tasks, from navigating to watching videos while parked.
Bluetooth 5.0 provides a stable and fast connection, whether I’m making calls, streaming music, or using voice commands. The call quality is clear, and the voice recognition system is accurate, making hands-free operation safe and convenient.
The built-in navigation system is reliable and has proven to be a useful tool during my travels. It’s intuitive and helps me reach my destinations without any hassle.
Furthermore, the FM/AUX transmitter offers multiple options for audio sources. I can easily switch between FM radio and auxiliary input, giving me the flexibility I need.
Installation was relatively straightforward, and the stereo fits seamlessly into my car’s dashboard. The build quality is solid, and the design is modern and sleek.
In summary, this has truly enhanced my driving experience. Its seamless connectivity, intuitive interface, and additional features like AirPlay Mirror Link make it a worthy upgrade for any car audio system. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to elevate their in-car entertainment and connectivity.
Easy to set up
This CARPURIDE C3 wireless Apple Carplay &Android auto car stereo has a 7inch HD touchscreen with mirror link . I ordered this especially as my sister’s car has no satnav and she’s always having to try and navigate with Google maps on her iPhone. This is easier when my niece is in the car as she works out the route. This will be so much easier for her as the voice control works much better and the visibility of the screen is much better for following directions . The hands free is perfect for when she needs to call anyone as she hasn’t got to pull over to use her phone. I can see my niece getting one for her car or borrowing this from her mum as it does everything you need and you can have a split screen to use more than one function, which would be appealing if you need to navigate and want to choose your playlist at the same time.
It comes well presented in a compact box which is sealed . Suitable for gifting purposes or personal use.
So easy to install as you just need power from the lighter socket...
This portable car stereo comes in a retail cardboard box and inside you’ll find the car stereo, power lead, 3.5mm stereo jack lead, Dash mount, windscreen mount, and a user manual.
The display doesn’t feel flimsy and has a well-made feel to it. The screen has a glossy surface which does reflect the light a little bit. There is a window and dashboard mount, so it gives you plenty of options on where to place it. The mounts give a full axis of adjustment so you can tilt it up, down, left, and right as well as bring it closer to you if needed.
Installation is really easy as you don’t need to wire it in, you only need to provide power from your 12v lighter socket in your car. The included 3.5mm lead is used to connect to your main head unit so the sound comes through your car speakers. You can only get sound out from this via the 3.5mm lead so you oem head unit needs to have a 3.5mm audio input. You can then control the volume through your standard head unit.
Android Auto is easy to setup and use and you can use the usual apps like google maps, music, and phone access. You can use voice commands to control everything so it can be operated completely hands free. I can listen to my playlists, get directions, and send messages without having to touch the screen which I find really helpful. The app is also very responsive and smooth and is quick to navigate from screen to screen.
I’m quite impressive with the number of options that it adds to your car. If you have a new car, then most of the features here won’t be anything special but if you have an older car which doesn’t support google maps or streaming services then this is a great alternative to quickly upgrade your entertainment in the car. The sat nav is easy to use but you do have to have your phone data turned on as it uses the internet for it to work. It doesn’t use a lot of data which is good. Android Auto is the best feature on here though for me as it adds so much more to the stereo and gives a completely new interface to interact with..
Mostly very good
To get a touch screen media centre that connects to your phone in an older car, this is a great option. Overall, it works very well.
The main positives are:
Excellent as a sat nav.
Perfect for playing your own music, podcasts and internet radio.
Screen is reasonable quality.
Google voice control enables hands-free use – this works very well.
Lots of cable length to fit it tidily in your car.
The few minor issues I’ve identified are:
The plug doesn’t include a USB socket, so using this screen blocks off my power socket. In an old car without a mulitmedia screen, you’re unlikely to have a USB socket too. Would be much better if the power adapter included a USB port.
The touchscreen occasionally doesn’t recognise my touch.
No Bluetooth audio connection – you have to use aux cable for this.
Brillia
The portable car stereo with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support has transformed my car into a high-tech hub. The 7-inch touchscreen is not only visually appealing but also highly functional. The ability to seamlessly mirror my smartphone screen, coupled with Bluetooth connectivity and support for FM transmission, has made my daily commutes and road trips a lot more enjoyable. The compatibility with a reverse camera is an added bonus, enhancing safety. I’m very happy with this upgrade to my vehicle.
Great upgrade to the stock car radio
This is a very good 7-inch Android Auto and CarPlay stereo, and I like it very much in my car. Having CarPlay and Android Auto function in my car was a great upgrade to the stock radio. It was convenient and easy to make phone calls, view the calendar, browse the music library, check my messages and use the navigation. The installation was pretty simple, the instructions were easy to follow, and all you need is to find a good place for it on the dashboard. Linking my phones on both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto worked perfectly, and the Bluetooth connection was stable with no interference other than a little lag now and then. The touchscreen response is sensitive and effective, the display is clear, and the sound quality is good. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade.
I would have preferred this item to be supplied with a compatible rear view camera
It took just under 5 minutes to fit this CARPURIDE 7 inch portable screen onto the dash of my granddaughters Peugeot 107 and she is really pleased with how this screen gives an instant, more updated look to the interior of her 2006 car.
My granddaughters iPhone connected to the screen via Bluetooth with ease and it didn’t take her very long to work through the various options and set up the screen to meet her requirements.
The screen is powered through the cars 12v outlet and it wirelessly transmits through the car stereo.
The audio plays through the car stereo speakers and the sound is acceptable for my granddaughter, although it is definitely quieter than when music is played directly through the car stereo.
The satnav on the iPhone is much easier to follow when it is transmitted onto the large 7″ screen and the voice control also works well.
My granddaughters iPhone instantly connects to the screen as soon as she turns on the engine and it automatically powers off when the car ignition is turned off.
My granddaughter likes to have the map and stereo on display at the same time, which is acceptable because the screen is a good size with good images and sound quality.
The removable sunscreen hasn’t been required yet, but I can see that it will come in handy in sunnier weather.
This screen has been installed in the car for almost a month now and my granddaughter is really pleased with it, although she says that she would have liked it better if it had been supplied with the rear view camera.
Fitted to old phone vent mou
I installed this in an older car that doesn’t have Android Auto but does have an aux input to plug a 3.5mm jack into. I found that one of the supplied mounts used a ball joint that’s the same size as an old air vent mount I already had so I tried using that to clip it the vent and it’s working pretty well so far. All you have to do is pop the ball into the supplied mounting part and tighten it up, but obviously the ball has to be the right size. I think they might be fairly standard.
It says in the manual that the company will supply additional / different mounts for free on request so I might try asking for a CD slot mount since we never use the CD slot anyway and maybe that will be better but the vent mount is surprisingly sturdy for now.
The aux input is in the centre console so running the wires (power and audio) tidily was a bit of a challenge. Thankfully I’ve done this sort of thing before so I managed to run them behind some of the trim panels without too much difficulty and now it looks good. The ends of the cables that plug into the unit are both right angled and recessed so they can be run across the back, over the mount and down so that they’re barely visible from the front, which helps.
Overall it looks great in the car and is a definite upgrade. I’m used to using Android Auto from a different vehicle so I miss it when I drive this one and now it’s in there I don’t want to go back to not having it. It’s so convenient while driving to have both navigation and all your audio apps available without having to touch your phone.
Using it is great. The touchscreen is very responsive and in use it’s almost identical to my other vehicle that has Android Auto built in. Everything displays nice and clearly and it’s a pleasure to drive and navigate with.
Some things worth noting:
* The sound quality is excellent through a wired aux connection. The built in speaker would be OK for navigation but not really for music. I haven’t tried the FM transmitter but from previous experience I wouldn’t expect it to be flawless. Sadly you can’t use Bluetooth to connect it to the car stereo.
* It reconnects automatically when you starts the car but it does take a few seconds. No big deal.
* Once it starts into Android Auto there doesn’t seem to be a way to get back to the main menu screen without disconnecting from the phone end. Not a big deal because I can’t see much reason to need to do so once it’s initially set up but it did confuse me at first when I needed to change the audio output settings.
* When you use a navigation app it still uses your phone’s GPS receiver so you need to make sure it has a good view of the sky. If it’s buried in your pocket or a bag then you might find it has trouble getting an accurate position so it might be a good idea to put the phone in a holder or on the centre console or something so that it works well. If you use the wireless Android Auto connection then you don’t have to have a wire connected and the phone’s screen can stay off. The wireless connection is convenient but using a wire might be preferable for longer journeys so it keep your battery topped up. Personally I use wireless but I plug in a cable purely for charging when needed so I have the best of both worlds.
* There’s a volume control on the device and also the car’s normal volume control. This could get confusing because they are in series i.e. the volume you send out from the device is then again sent through the car’s volume control. I think it’ll be best to set the device volume once and then leave it alone and use the car’s volume control from then on so it’s consistent with any other inputs you use and you can still use the steering wheel volume controls (if you have them). On the device you can set the volume for navigation and audio separately, which is nice for balancing them so one isn’t annoyingly louder than the other. It’s pretty much a set once and forget thing.
* Apparently the company will create a customised update for you (for free) with your own boot screen if you send them an image. This sounds great and I might ask them for one with the car’s emblem on it, or maybe a photo.
* Removing and reinstalling it could be a bit of a pain if you intend to do it every time you park the car. I hope leaving it in place doesn’t attract thieves. In my case I think using a CD slot mount would help it to look more like it’s part of the car and therefore not worth breaking in for.
Nice clear display
If you need a gadget to retrofit to allow you to have apple carplay then this is the one for you.
Super easy to install, powered by USB C cable into your cigarette lighter or other power source.
Great intuitive touch screen allowing you to access things like google maps or spotify.
Mirror screening for most applications. Sound isn’t amazing but functional so fine for sat nav usage.
Auto connect when you get in the car via bluetooth so no need for constant connection.
If you’ve a car that doesn’t have android auto, this is a potential way round the situation.
You will want to have some sort of auxiliary port on your car stereo to get the sound through the car speakers, though.
It’s a nice sized screen for things like Google maps. It’ll also position the controls for Spotify on the screen, beside your nap, as well as showing text & WhatsApp messages. This is a handy way of being able to reply while driving, as it’ll send spoken messages as texts.
Screen mirroring is possible, but very limited. It needs done by a cable rather than casting it & a lot of apps out there won’t allow screen share. You also need a phone that has video out settings via your USB C….a lot of phones font have this built in.
It also won’t allow Bluetooth out to your stereo, only Bluetooth in from a device like your phone, so audio out has to be done by a 3.5mm headphone style cable, then plug it into the cars AUX input.
If you’ve a car that doesn’t have Bluetooth anyway, this is a step up, but a car with Bluetooth, it’s a step down.
It comes with an arm to let you attach it to the dash or windscreen, however, if you contact customer service, they will send you a CD slot mount, I’ve contacted them for one. It hasn’t arrived as yet, but it’s been 10 days & I think it’s being sent from the US.
As the unit isn’t built into the dash, you will find yourself with a slight dilemma…do I leave it in position in the car, risking a break in, or do you hide it away after each trip…. hiding it will quickly become a chore & you’ll find yourself not using it unless you really need it for Google maps, or maybe on a long journey it’s worth taking it out & plugging it in.
Definitely needs a Bluetooth out option, maybe the more expensive models feature that.
Great for older model cars.
So my current car is an older car, so this is ideal to have.
It is easy enough to set up, with the instructions being easy to follow.
It looks great once set up and really modernises your car set up.
The screen looks nice, is easy to read and is vibrant in colour.
It is a touch screen and works well.
It connects easily via Bluetooth.
Fits nicely in place.
Happy with the overall quality of this.
Great screen for older cars
I got to say I really like this car tablet/screen, it makes my car feel more upto date with Android/Apple car play.
You get everything you need in the box, a mounting stand to have it permanently based, a suction cup to move it to where you want and all the necessary cables to get power/ auxiliary output.
Really easy to set up, its pretty much plug in a go, the stands can be adjusted to get a good position and hold it in place well with minimal bouncing.
The screen itself is smooth, registers touchs good with a nice menu that is easy to navigate.
I connected my android phone by Bluetooth and was ready to go with my music or Google maps, I got this as the idrive sat nav in my car is quite dated and having google maps is so much better and much more upto date with live traffic data.
I like it connects without any input when I get in the car, it just auto connects with Bluetooth and I like the small removable sun screen which is useful on bright days.
I like the duel display when music and maps are both active, clear and easy to use
Overall I like using it, it sounds good when using the auxiliary cable but will say the speakers in the device itself aren’t that loud but still do the job if you need to use them.
Instructions are adequate and show everything to get you started.
My daughters also connected easy with their iPhone without any issues.
A good little device to bring an old car more upto date, would recommend.
Great quality car stereo.
I couldn’t be happier with the CARPURIDE C3 Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto Car Stereo! This device has completely transformed my driving experience. The 7-inch HD touchscreen is crystal clear and responsive, making navigation and app usage a breeze.
The wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are seamless, and I love the AirPlay Mirror Link feature. It effortlessly connects to my phone, providing access to Siri and Google Assistant, enhancing both safety and convenience.
Bluetooth 5.0 ensures reliable connectivity for calls and music streaming, and the FM/AUX transmitter option is a nice touch. The built-in navigation system is accurate and easy to use.
Overall, this car stereo is a game-changer, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s packed with features, user-friendly, and has significantly upgraded my driving experience. Five stars all the way!
Fantastic neat way to retrofit CarPlay to an older ca
Fantastic neat way to retrofit apple CarPlay to an older car. Fairly easy to set up and use especially with the instructions. Has a setting to flip between left hand drive and right hand drive which is great and a nice big bright and responsive screen. The only real issue I have with it is that it doesn’t have a usb/usb-c port on the power plug or doesn’t come with a cable to power it via USB-c etc so I have had to purchase a car lighter power splitter so that I can also have suitable USB ports for me and my passengers to charge our devices from.
Good clear touchscreen display
Hi, it’s a good display and connects really easy to my iPhone through Bluetooth, it comes with a couple of options to mount it, but it’s a good display and the touch is responsive, the sound isn’t that good but just ok for satnav directions we have one in our car anyway but this will be mine to use for me instead of my phone, price seems ok in comparison with others

Intuitive and versatile media player.
We appreciate that the CARPURIDE C3 Carplay links well with both Android and Apple devices, as we regularly use both types of operating system. Setup and control of the Carplay is a breeze. No problem at all in linking with smart phones, in car speakers and other devices. The unit looks very smart with a high quality display screen. It is important to us that the unit is easily detached and reattached for security reasons. CARPURIDE is a trusted brand that you can rely upon. This device is good value and it suits our needs well. There are larger screen versions available should you desire one.
good solution to update your stereo system
Carpruide C3
A 7 inch display which is small and compact while being touchscreen.
These devices are great if you have a car which doesn’t have any features for Apple play or Android Auto.
If you don’t want to to rip out or have the option to replace the existing stereo
system this could be the device would could give you a number of features without the hassle.
The quality of the device is actually really good its much better in quality the some cheaper head units that you can find on the market.
The touchscreen is nice and responsive and i didn’t have any connection issue which can be done via a cable or Bluetooth all depends on your needs and what you feel is more comfortable to use.
The features the device has to offer are a USB, MicroSD card slot, AV out which can be used if you have a reverse camera and a microphone port.
as this does feature an AV out port so as long as your car has a AUX port then you can place the cable in the port and use the Carpuride to communicate with the stereo that way if your car doesn’t then you can proceed to use the device via Bluetooth.
once powered up you will see the front dashboard effectively it is very basic and very simple to use. each app is clearly labeled and easy to understand. Also once setup you Apple car play or Android play will connect straight away even when unplugged it should recognized once plugged back in.
Pairing to the device is relatively straight forward for either Apple devices or Android devices.
You will also know when the device is successfully paired as it will show on the screen to say successfully paired with (name of the device) you will also notice a green tick in the Bluetooth symbol in the top right hand of the screen.
When using either Android or Apple car play you can use all the apps that are provided within the mode like spotify – Apple music, navigation etc.
If using the music feature i do like the fact that you can change the EQ settings to match your liking or simply use the preset provided.
I also liked the idea that the screen splits in half if using a navigation app and playing music at the same time. This doesn’t work with every app you have however there are a selected few.
The in-built speaker is quite tinny and to my ears wasn’t the best experience in using this device personally
although your most likely use the FM radio to sync to your car speakers or the Bluetooth.
Overall if you car stereo doesn’t have certain features that this Carpuride does then this is something worth a try.
This is a less expensive way of updating your head unit without the extra cost as with this you can simply install by yourself with no tools needed.
Once sync the apps worked really well without any connection issues.
This does lack the rear camera however, Carpuride do have this feature in other products they sell.
Voice commands was easy to use and navigate through.
If you have a small car the 7inch option is a better choice then the larger version.
