Product is easy to install and good instructions for what it is. The gate is sturdy and similar to others on the market. The unlock button is a lot easier to use compared to another similar gate I have. The strength of the gate is yet to be fully tested by my 18 month old but my medium size dog cannot get through despite multiple “pushing” attempts. I feel confident that this will protect my daughter (and dog) from a tumble down the stairs.
I really like the ability for the gate to be fully out of the way when left open. The old fashioned stairgates with the bar along the bottom always tripped me up and where a pain to open with a child in my arms.
Works unless the dog is determined!
It’s more of a visual block but provides enough to prevent the dog from wandering. Time will tell if it holds up as I’ve noticed the lock is already sticky after only a few weeks
