    Feel good 70’s nostalgia
Slick early piece from Richard Linklater. Everyone will find a character to identify with here. Easy to watch. Ticks all the boxes without becoming cheesy and a great soundtrack to boo

Great film , Bitter sweet comedy
Don’t expect American Pie or Animal House , this film is genuinely funny in a bitter sweet sort of way.
It captures a moment not only in time being set 1976 but also in terms of lost youth and the nostalgia for that last summer before moving on to other things. Excellent performance from all the cast.
There is also an excellent soundtrack.
If ever you were young and partied with mates , this fim is worth a watch.

A great movie on a great blu-Ray disc! Loved this film when I was young and was not disappointed when I watched it with my daughter. Bonus features were indeed a bonus hehe.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersTop film, needs a bigger following
A stand out coming of age story.

For some reason this film have never got the credit it deserves. I’m glad that it’s starting to garner a bit of a cult following but it really needs to be seen by more people.

If you grew up in the 70’s or like myself in the 80’s-90’s then I really think you’ll get something from this film (mainly nostalgia). It’s fun, sexy, entertaining and most importantly with a film like this, you like the characters.

Give it a go, I doubt you’ll regret it.

For some this may be a nostalgia trip but for others like myself it is more of a fascinating time-capsule
A slice-of-life featuring an ensemble of 70s adolescents and their high school shenanigans. For some this may be a nostalgia trip but for others like myself it is more of a fascinating time-capsule, a nature documentary of sorts focusing on a group of teenagers with whom I think everyone can identify even if it is only a little.

Classic movie from my smoking teens
I was mid teens around the time this movie came out. Heavily into the music, smoking and drinking. Just not able to drive yet. Loved this movie and watched it countless times. It’s a classic that will never get old. Defo 1 of my faves and great to see it on prime

    Dazed and Confused
I got reminded of this film watching an episode of Family Guy where they made fun of Matthew McConaughey! It’s a great film about teenagers in the ’70s. Recommended purchase.

    Fuuny little film
Ok so there’s no massive action or love scenes. No mysteries or any of that. This film is just one day shown for what it is. Fun and filled with things that make it unique. A good quirky film that is an easy watch and offer a great afternoons viewing. I would tell anyone to watch it at least once.

One of my favourite movies, I absolutely love everything 70s as i wish i was born during those early eras! I loved the storyline, the cast, the backdrop and the soundtrack! It is most definitely a must see and it doesn’t matter when your era you were born in you’ll love it!

Dazed and Confused is the tale of the last day of school in the Summer of 1976, in Texas. Set over the course of one day, the film deals with the lives of many Texas teenagers, ranging from seniors to freshmen, stoners, jocks, geeks…
Not much can be said about the film without giving it away. In terms of plot, the film does not appear to follow one. It is very refreshing to find a film like this that is far away from the usual Hollywood nonsense.
Richard Linklater, the director, clearly has a passion for this film, and being his second work (his first using a significant budget), the film has steered away from what it could have become – a normal teen film.
Instead, Linklater has crafted a very natural and highly enjoyable film. Unlike other teen films, you care about the characters, despite the great number of them. The film is funny, yet moving at times. It is highly rewatchable and is great to watch with friends. The music is awesome as well and I recommend the albums – Dazed and Confused and Even More Dazed and Confused.
Overall, this film is a fantastic experience every time you watch it.
It takes you back to 1976, even if you’ve never actually been there.

    Classic slacker teen movie
This film is worth watching just for Matt McConahey. His character is the sort of guy every actor would want to play. Joey Lauren Adams and Jason London provide the eye candy but the soundtrack and the minor characters make the movie so much more entertaining. My personal favourite is the weird blonde geek from Road Trip playing a weird blonde geek.
Best line: “Thats what I love about these high school girls…. I get older, they stay the same age”
