If you live in the Uk/Ireland these are good if you want to use screw in Edison bulbs in standard Uk/Ireland sockets which are all Bayonet BC fittings. These adapters will do the job.

I ordered some uv bulbs from temu but I didn’t notice they were the screw in type. This adaptor was the perfect fit and works a treat. Now my bedroom is all glowing and awesome takes regular size bulbs

I had looked at several bulb holders, and selected this particular one due to its claims of working with a higher wattage (hotter) bulb. I needed it not to deform or become dangerous when hot, and these seem to work on first use.

I purchased smart bulbs that have a B22 fitment, before realising that my new house uses E27 in all the light fittings. These adapters are very well priced and easy to install. Once fitted, you simply insert your bulb and it will work as normal.

The only issue I have is that the extra length means the bulb can protrude past the shade you have fitted, which can almost defeat the purpose of having the shade in the first place! Eventually I will probably replace the bulbs completely (with correct E27 ones) as the protrusion can be quite distracting when the bulb is glaring in your eyes. A longer lightshade will make this a nonissue however.

For the money and ease of fitting (and that it simply does what it needs to), I would recommend this.
