Vertical format saves the space in the socket, love the buttons for powe
I bought these to replace the horizontal versions I have many of, those i have good and bad (some where the rockers on/off switches have stuck), I like the power buttons to isolate each one and use this for my electrical items to turn them off individually and save power, the USB is great and allows me to use a battery charger and I also run a digital clock from the other USB outlet. I recommend these, I also bought the triple socket version without USB and it is the same and very useful. There is a hidden support at the bottom to allow it to be parallel to the wall as plugging in would push it back at the base. And it comes out far enough to allow use in the old MK white flush sockets.

I like these, though time will tell if the USB and switches last. So far though very good.

    Neat shape
This adapter is compact and well made without the trailing cables of a traditional multiway. The individual switches on the side are a good feature, preventing exposed live sockets especially where there are curious young children in the house. This is a slim addition to a single socket in my hallway, ideal for charging items before leaving the house.

Works in a front room with limited sockets
This solved a problem of a lack of sockets in my front room. My only small issue is that the little screw device at the bottom of the socket that keeps it flush with the wall is not long enough. The socket itself is great, charges my phone with the USB port and I use it for my table lamp as well.

    Plug adapte
This plug adapter is brilliant. I have lots of plug adapters but they go across not down like this one, the ones I’ve used in the past are so bulky that they always block the empty plug so even though it goes in just one plug I wouldn’t be able to use the other empty plug as the adapter blocked it, but this one is great and I don’t have that problem at all. This plug adapter goes straight downwards and the other plug socket is free to use. This plug adapter has 2 plug sockets and 3 connectors points, 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C. It has individual buttons at the side so you can turn off a plug if not in use, it’s a brilliant adapter plug and I’ll always stick with these types from now on.

    A Fantastic Space Save
This was exactly what I needed to give me extra 3 pin and USB outlets without an annoying wire. This was simply plug and play and worked straight away. This one suits me because of its vertical form factor allowing it to be used in the space I had available. It feels very well put together so I feel safe in saying the quality is top notch. If you need to expand your electrical outlets, this will do just the job; recommended.

Useful item, with added USB ports.
I find these type of plug adaptors really useful around the house. This one feels robust and well made.
I’ve currently got this plugged into the kitchen in a double wall socket.
The size is fine, it doesn’t get in the way of the other socket in the double plate, and due to the orientation of it being vertical rather than horizontal it looks tidier.
It has two UK plug sockets, two USB A and one USB C, which these days is very handy as a lot of electronics now don’t come with an actual plug, just a charging cable.
There are independent buttons on the side for each of the main plug sockets, and one for the USB ports, so you can turn the power on/off independently, and there is a small screw that you can rotate out of the back to give it a bit of stability against the wall.
It works well, and I’ve now managed to get a couple of extra items plugged in rather than constantly having to change plugs over.
The buttons on the adaptor do emit quite a bright blue light though, so you might not want to use it in a bedroom if you dislike lights in the dark.

Nicely designed, good option mixture of USB & sockets
2 Gang Plug Adaptor with USB

Plug adapter which provides 2 mains sockets and a single USB-C and two USB-A.

    Things to consider
    – total USB output is 15W
    – device extends ~14cm down from socket and is only ~1cm away from wall (so might not fit if you sockets are close to skirting board), does have screw out plastic peg, so it can rest against the wall.
    – it has lit buttons, which click in and light off to switch off the socket, one switch controls all the USBs

Adapter arrives in a plastic bag inside a branded cardboard box

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCould be useful in a tight space
This is a really different design for an extension socket. It fits into the plug so that the sockets stack vertically. This could be really useful in a tight space.

It has two mains power sockets and 3 USB (2 x USB-A and 1 x USB-C) slots, meaning you can charge / use 5 devices from one socket. Each plug socket has an independent on/off switch (although the USBs have to share one).

The only problem I found with this is that I couldn’t plug in two fairly chunky plugs next to each other as there wasn’t enough room. These were an Alexa plug and a wireless doorbell. It should be fine with two less chunky plugs though.

Thanks for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Works well unless your sockets are close to skirting boards
This plug extension adapter features two plug sockets and three USB ports – two USB-A and one USB-C. Each plug socket has an individual power switch on the side that lights up blue when powered and there’s a third switch covering all the USB ports.

Build quality seems good, there’s a screw on the back which comes out to provides stability against the wall, as otherwise it’s fiddly to plug anything into the bottom socket. Performance is fine, all the ports and sockets work though it’s worth noting that the USB-C port does not support Power Delivery – the fast charging lights on my power banks do not turn on when I plug them in.

My main issue is that there’s very little wall clearance so this adapter is not suitable for sockets just above skirting boards, which unfortunately is most of them in my house. It would have made much more sense to have the plug at the bottom end of the adapter rather than the top. But it fits fine in my kitchen, hall and some of my bedroom sockets and I like that it has individual switches and USB ports so overall I am very happy with this adapter.
