Great Size and Quality - Description/Images a Bit Contradictory
Firstly, I want to address this is a brilliantly sized bag that will absolutely keep a whole host of garden based furniture/cushions safe over the less summery days we’re currently having.
The bag is high quality and I haven’t noticed any failing stitching despite moving this around with a host of things stuffed into it; pressure washer (inside it’s box), spare hose, sledge and some camping chairs.
However, it feels like there is a bit of conflicting information in the product description. The images imply this bag sits more like a box when in reality it is simply a floppy bag.
Similarly, there seems to be a bit of uncertainty regarding how waterproof this actually is. The photos suggest it would do outside just fine but the product description advises it would survive light showers only and should be kept in a garage/shed.
Positives
+ Surprisingly large amounts of storage available for a bag.
+ Zips feel high quality and doesn’t get stuck despite having had a lot of use – something common in cheaper alternatives out there.
+ Will definitely keep your garden cushions dry during light showers thanks to the water-resistant material.
+ Carry handles feel well stitched and show no signs of wear despite me moving it with easily 10+kg of garden equipment stored inside.
Negatives
– Item pictures/description is a bit misleading – certainly wouldn’t describe it as “water-proof” if it can only survive light showers outside. Water-resistant feels like a more appropriate term.
– Similarly, this doesn’t sit in a box shape – something that other reviewers have been mislead by too.
Conclusion
If you’re looking to up your storage game for the furniture cushions/other outdoor garden equipment over the offseason this is a great, high quality choice and has plenty of space for the price. Be aware that it’s advised to be kept indoors mostly. The contradictory description and images are the only reason I’m docking 1 star.
Really great idea
I have covers for my outside furniture, but it often slips and the cushions get wet. Especially in the winter, when you want to pack things away, I’ve struggled for somewhere to put the cushions where they will be safe until needed. This bag is great. Holds loads, zips up tight and it’s kept my cushions nice and dry. Great price too. The bag is well made and sturdy enough to be bashed about a bit in storage. Very happy with it.
Huge!
I have a 7ft2″ tree that splits into three and this bag holds it with plenty of room to spare, the bag is made of good strong material, lined inside to protect the contents from moisture, and the conditions of a well-ventilated loft, time will tell how it holds up, but very happy thus far!
Good Quality
High quality material and durable zipper and stitching. Perfect size I need to store my christmas tree as the original box is now too knackered after being used for 10 years. Very roomy and should protect the contents from elements.
Pretty good big bag
I use this for my outdoor dining set cushions which comprises of 7 seat cushions and a bench cushion. It works perfectly for me because I need width and length, not height. I like to place the cushions in bag on top of the table under the table cover so it works great in that way.
The quality is okay. It’s not as nice as most fabric ones that I use which have a fabric top and a water proof lining under. But it’s also a lot thinner and lighter. I did do a water test by spraying water on it and some water did make its way in through the zipper. For something made and advertised to be for outdoor cushions it should be bone dry inside. I’d hate to have mildew grow on the pillows. But since I put a table cover on top, I shouldn’t have any issues. Just beware if you intend to place it outside as is.
It's a soft case!
Duerer Garden Furniture Cushion Storage Bag is NOT a sturdy structured bag which makes the photographer and advert very misleading. I was expecting a self propped structure but instead I got a soft shell bag.
Nevertheless! the storage bag is well made and it’s actually able to fit a person inside. Ideal for our 2 seater and 2 chair cushion set with plenty of space for more stuff to store inside.
Well made and insulated, your items will be kept dry and the fabric is waterproof. Nice stitching all around and overall this is a well made storage bag for the price.
Overall, should the advert not show the bag to be more like a box with solid walls I would have given it 5 stars as the quality is really good.
It's huge but not a box!
This bag is so much bigger than I anticipated; it’s huge!! It fits all my garden cushions in plus 2 footstools and still has space to spare. However, it is NOT a box despite what the pictures look like – it does not have any solidity to it at all, it really is a large waterproof bag only so if you’re looking for a box-like structure, this isn’t it. However, having said that, it’s perfect for what I need and will make storing my cushions and other garden items that would otherwise be ruined by the British weather, an ideal solution.

These are so big when taken out of their storage bag, but impressively they pack up really small.
It will be great next summer to not have to take the cushions in every day, as it just fills up your indoor living space.
I couldn’t believe how big this is, it will house loads of cushions.
Perfect to store all my garden furniture cushions
First off – this is a huge bag. From the pictures this looked to be a semi-solid oblong box, but it is just a large bag. I don’t mind, and in fact it is probably better being a bay and not a box, but just to say if you were after a box then this is not that.
I am using this bag to overwinter all my outdoor furniture cushions. I didn’t think there would be enough room, but this bag is hug and I still have space. The bag itself seems very well made and should be waterproof, so maybe I’ll be leaving it outdoors in the summer.
Very pleased with it, and would recommend (but it is not a box!).

It’s huge!
This was so much bigger than I thought it would be, which is great as usually storage bags just don’t measure up for larger garden cushions and Christmas trees. This held a large 6′ artificial christmas tree and the decorations, but I’d be tempted to buy another one for the large three seater cushion from our garden set.
It arrived in a handy zip up bag which honestly does belie the true size of the actual storage bag. It’s very well made from lightweight, waterproof fabric, the zip is good, sturdy and strong with all teeth aligning properly and there is a zip cover that folds back once the zip is done up. The seams are good, no run offs or missed sections with no loose threads. Because of the lightweight fabric, I would he careful with xmas trees that have metal hook arms for the branches as they might cause damage to it, the tree in the photo has fold up branches so that wasn’t an issue for me.

Excellent cove
This is excellent cover / bag, very strong so should last few seasons at least. It’s very light but sturdy so good for carrying around the garden collecting all the pillows and pads and then storing it in a garage or shed over winter.
It comes in a separate bag which can be used to store other things as well so another plus – I’ve actually already started using it for some of my tools and the carrier bag is not as strong as the main one but still does the the job well.
Really pleased with this item and highly recommended to all.
Huge but shapeless
This is a really big bag with a good zip and strong handles which is enormous and will fit loads of stuff in.
The fabric is waterproof so you can stash it in the shed and not have to worry about the contents.
The pictures make the bag seem like it has structure to keep its shape which would make it easy to fill, however it’s made of quite thin fabric without any stiffness. On the plus side, this means that it packs down into a small zip bag for storage when not needed, a bit like a sleeping bag… however it does mean that it’s essentially just a big sack.

The storage bag is really good for storing outside cushions in for the winter, but I would not call it heavy duty.
The price is a bit high but it is a great storage bag.

Grabbed this in order to protect an outside box that has been compromised by water and so far have been very impressed.
The storage bag comes in a small bag of it’s own and comes packaged nice and small. Once extended however it is absolutely massive and covers the box comfortably. The material feels of good quality and is reassuring while the inside has an extra layer that I am confident will keep any water out for an extended period.
I threw the bag on the box and left it outside over several hours of rain yesterday and there is not a drop of water on the inside, so it’s passed it’s first test. I’ll be updating this review if it ever lets any water in or breaks/tears somehow, but for now I am very impressed and am considering picking up a couple of extras just to keep more things in the garden protected. Good old rainy Britain!
Great size
The reason I selected this was to protect my outdoor cushions from the elements. I dont have anywhere to store them and the cover that is on now moves with the wind. This is not a structured rigid bag but when opened looks like a massive sheet. It is thin but is the same material as a quality outdoor furniture set with the added reflective inside. I would not store a fake Christmas tree in this as it is only tear resistant but ideal for soft furnishings. Fits all my cushions which will give me an added layer of protection along with the furniture cover. Very good quality for the price.
Perfect storage bag
Got this for our garden cushions and I am more than impressed. All our L shape rattan furniture cushions fit into it great. The bag is excellent quality. Can’t wait to take them back out next summer, love the fact I can keep them in the shed and know they’re protected.
Really large waterproof cushion storage bag
Really large garden storage bag. There is plenty of space for the double cushion from my egg chair, 4 cushions from my chair and loads of space too spare. Long well stitched zip with a flap covering it to prevent water seeping in. The two handles are strong enough to hold the weight of all my cushions. The sides sag unless you have square or rectangular items as there is nothing to hold its shape. It folds into a small storage pouch.
Sturdy
I like this. Got it to store my Christmas tree in. It appears sturdy and strong. Tipped some water on it to test general waterprooofing and seemed to work well. Hopefully it lasts!
Very impressed with this bag. Misleading pictures though
This was an impulse order when it came up on the Amazon Vine programme for review. Initially I was going to use it after Christmas to store the tree and any other bits and pieces.
Having now seen it I’m going to put it to another purpose altogether. It’s perfect for storing our deflated hot tub for the winter months. Once it’s reduced down it will fit into the bag and we can put it in the shed. It has very strong handles and the seams are taped up on the inside. For the quality I think it’s definitely worth the price.
My only negative is that the pictures show a rectangular bag that looks structured and solid. It’s not and will only have that shape if the thing inside is rectangular and fits the bag perfectly.
It’s not something I would knock any stars off for as the write up doesn’t make any claims to the rigidity of the product. It’s just that the picture makes it look like it’s something else entirely.
