I bought this as a gift for my mum , she absolutely loves it. She has a beautiful garden & I thought that I would just get her something to make her smile & think of me when it lights up. As it’s winter, she currently has him in her conservatory, but I’m sure that he’s going to be allowed outside once spring has sprung.

I’ve given this gnome 5 stars for a few reasons, firstly it’s well-made and looks to be good quality. It’s fairly heavy so won’t get blown away. The hat and coat are made from dense astroturf material which is soft to the touch and the painting is done well and looks hard-wearing.
Secondly, it looks great at the front door and makes a very good conversation starter, especially as it has “welcome” written on the basket.
Thirdly, the solar panel on the back lights up the glass ball, so it equally looks great at night. Plus, no need for batteries.
In all, it would make a good gift for someone who likes quirky, but cute garden decor.
I really think this is just so cute, it lights up lovely in the evening and really makes my little garden collection just perfect.

The solar works well but you do need a good amount of sunshine for it to really be lit well in the evening.
It’s a great addition to my back garden. It’s a unique and charming decoration that adds a touch of whimsy to my garden. The 7 LED lights provide a warm glow at night. It may be less bright than some people would like, especially if you live in an area with much light pollution. The quality of the ornament is impressive, with sturdy construction and attention to detail.
It is solar-powered, which means it is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. The ornament charges during the day and automatically turns on at night, so you don’t have to worry about turning it on and off.
Overall, I am pleased with the solar turtle. It is a decent quality and charming decoration that adds a touch of personality to my garden.
He is made of a sturdy resin yet to protect the clear light dome he arrives well protected in a polystyrene packageing. Solidly made and decently weighty so shouldn’t blown over on a windly day. His green hat and coat are a textured dense Astroturf like material so he should blend into the garden beautifully. He has welcome written on his flower basket so ideally will welcome visitors to your home if placed in the front garden. The weather is just awful now. He shall find his new home come spring.
I love my garden and have a lot of ornaments in it. This little guy fits in so well with the rest of my lights and is so bright. It is not heavy but will not be blown away.
Really happy with this and would make a great addition to any garden.
Outdoor Solar turtle.
This LED solar turtle arrives in the manufacturers box and it is packed inside styrofoam for protection during transit.
The turtle is made from a type of resin material but actually looks like stone but obviously does not have the weight of stone so easily movable to another position and still heavy enough so it will not blow away in wild winds.
The turtle looks lovely during the day and is very charming and cute but when the lights come on at dust it really is stunning.
It is a nice pretty light at night time but not like a torch glow light where it would light up your path way, it is more of a fairy light glow.
I especially like how bright and colourful the turtle is with it’s pretty floral display.
The solar charging section is at the reverse side of the flower display and you press the button for it to charge. This means that the turtle is really only suitable facing one way unless you do not mind the solar panel on show.
This is a cute little turtle that would brighten up any position whether outdoors or indoors. It doesn’t weigh that much but enough not to easily get blown away. Because the weather is overcast at the moment, I put the turtle in the greenhouse to charge up its solar powered battery and this worked fine. I have attached three pictures of the turtle all taken indoors. In the first two, the room light is on. The first of these pictures is without the turtle lights on while the second has its lights turned on. The third picture is with the room light dimmed but not entirely off. As the ambient light fades, you do lose the colour of the flowers which is a shame. If you want all the colour of the flowers, it needs to have some light around it as well as those on the turtle itself. A cute gift though.
