A little fiddly to use and all parts are plastic.
Strongly recommend getting a UV lamp to assist with curing the resin unless its a very sunny day (I like to work in the shade / under cover doing things like this personally anyway). Have to be realistic about what this can achieve which is to fill chips. Its not going to get down into any cracks and seal those but that’s to be expected really.
The results aren’t perfect from this kit but they are an improvement over having dinks in your screen.

Have yet to try this as weather not suitable, but did fit the suction cups to the glass to try out, and holds very well.
As others have said watch the video first as it makes it a lot clearer to understand than the instruction sheet.
I would like to get a UV lamp to do this as the Sun is not shinning here at the moment.
Hopefully will be as good as the results in video .
Nice little kit supplied with two tubes of repair liquid, a razor blade , 10 plastic sheets, a pin to remove any small bits of glass , and the suction cup device which is in 3 parts.

Please see my photos for the Gearzaar windscreen repair kit that I am reviewing, which is different from the one currently being shown for this listing. Mine came with 4 suckers to hold it on to the windscreen. I found it a bit difficult doing this for the first time and just trying to follow the instructions provided but I know it can work well because my husband has done it lots of times. Do watch some videos first, which I didn’t.
Pros: The suckers work well – easy to put on and take off, good strong suction,
It’s cheaper and easier than getting someone else to do it
The result can be very good
You get lots of pieces of plastic film so you can do lots of repairs
You get two bottles of liquid so even more scope for future repairs
Cons: It’s difficult to see what you’re doing if you try to do it on your own
I couldn’t get the liquid into all of the little bits of cracks but because they were well inside the glass that’s understandable
I couldn’t see how the liquid would get into all of the cracks through the small (say 2mm) hole.
The lid is not a screw fixing so you will have to be careful how you store these bottles once opened.
Advice: Get something to stand on so that you are looking down on where you are working and can line the device up with the centre of the damage more easily.
Get someone to help you so they can sit in the car and tell you what it looks like from there.
Start early in the day so you have the best chance of sunlight.
Have kitchen paper or similar to hand in case any of the liquid gets on your hands etc.
Have a knife or pair of scissors handy to cut the top off the bottle. You can break it off with your fingers but I spilt some on myself doing that.

An inexpensive way to fix small cracks. It does work, but it needs a UV lamp or at least a hot day with a bright sun, these days it’s cold and mostly raining, so it took a few hours to cure, but it is worth trying in my opinion.

This does exactly what it sets out to do, the components of the kit are of a high quality, very good value, and cheaper than the excess of my car insurance policy.

    Highly recommended.

My partner’s car got a chip in its windscreen a couple of months ago due to a truck kicking up a stone as it drove past. Very annoying, but you can’t do much about it. This repair kit is ideal for small chips – it should minimise it, but it won’t be removed completely. You need half an hour of sunlight or UV light (which we don’t have much of right now in the UK!) to cure the resin once applied. If you do it earlier in the day like we did, then you should be fine though. This is definitely worth a try before even thinking about replacing the windscreen.

However, it’s worth noting that the product page has already been updated with a new version of this product, therefore, my review is a bit redundant!

I have several cars and they all have the odd few cracks and hits, by small stones. The instructions are very easy to follow and preparation is key, to ensure a perfect finish.
I found it easy to place the suction cups and wand applicator over the hole. Then make sure the silcone has a good seal, before squeezing the liquid as directed and screwing down.
I could see if the fluid has gone into the crack from the inside of the car. Then using glue and the clear sheets to finish off, before shaving it clean, once it’s dried off.
I found it a very good product and works well, as I didn’t want to install new windscreen, as mine still looks good. I manage to treat my other 2 cars and all the windscreens look great again.
    Very good value for money.

I ordered this windscreen repair kit as I’ve had a chip in my windscreen for quite a while. It’s not an MOT fail but it is noticeable This kit has all you need do repair at least one bit of damage, but easily more.

I watched a YouTube video – not the one supplied as the website was in Chinese and I couldn’t find the manufacturers video – and after following the video I have improved the chip in my windscreen. The kit was easy to use. The suction pads worked well, as did the resin and applicator.

Just to note that the kit I received looks completely different to the one in the description. Mine had two bottles of resin and a totally different (and much better) applicator.

Although I couldn’t cure my repair in the sun for 30 minutes (more like 15 minutes) it still worked okay. You can still see the chip but it is much better than before. I treid to take some photos but they didn’t come out at all well and you couldn’t see the before and after shots at all!

I don’t think that you would ever be able to fully invisibly repair a crack or chip on your windscreen unless you were a highly experienced windscreen repairer with some very fancy equipment, however for less than a tenner this does a really good job – Recommended.

This is fantastic, it is so easy to use, and it works well. My car had a chip on the windscreen around the size of a 5 pence piece, I wanted to fix it before it got worse. I had been reluctant to use the insurance windscreen cover as I’m sure it would raise next year’s premium. The instructions are clear, having the sticky guide allows more pressure that just doing it by hand. I did use a UV torch as trying to find sunlight in rural Scotland in the winter isn’t easy, it cured in seconds. I am very happy with the result (see photo) and glad I didn’t have to claim for it. Great to have the two bottles of repair resin as it leaves one in case I need it, with lots of country roads around us I guess that will be soon.

Nice little kit that includes mostly everything you need to undertake many repairs, comes with enough supplies to do a life time of windscreen fixes, two tubes of sealer liquid, and many thin films.

Everything is plastic, but functional, would have been nice to have come with a small UV light source, but I guess for such a low price this is difficult to include – note, on none sunny days you will need to have a UV source to cure and harden the liquid you inject.

I watched the video on the website linked on the QR code of the instructions – also read the instructions, it is a must when doing something like this – and then undertook to fix the small chip on my drivers side windscreen area. Took around 10 mins setting up and doing the injecting, the suction pads worked well, as did the injector that squeezes the liquid in to the crack. I then placed one drop of liquid on to the supplied clear film and laid it on top of the work, applied my daughters UV nail light source on to it for 30 mins, while I had a tea and then razor bladed and cleaned off any excess resin.

The job looks great, barely see it, happy with the result .

Previous to using this product i was unlucky enough to recieve a chip to me screen a week before and my insurer sent out a repair agent to fix the chip under my windscreen cover.

The repair was so so and i could still see the crack in some lights so fast forward to thsi week and i managed to pick up another chip following a tipper and rather than go through hoops with my insurer i used the Gearzaar repair kit instead.

To be fair the repair doesnt look much different to the guy that came out and did a ‘pro’ job, its better than before but you can still see the crack but with resin in it. Hopefully it should stop it from creeeping though.

I dont think you can expect an invisble repair with any glass chip repair so based on those expectations the kit doesnt do a bad job.

The instructions could be better but a quick YouTube tutorial can cover any gap. Using the product on a hot day is recommended to have better flow and would discourage using direct heat (like hairdryer) blasting the windscreen/liquid on a cold day to avoid a catastrophic change in temperature that will surely make the chip worst.
But overall for small simple chips it does work and at about 10 it is surely worth trying

I got this kit after noticing a small chip on my windscreen caused by a flying stone. I was worried that it would spread and crack the whole glass, so I decided to try this product. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use and how well it worked. The instructions were clear and simple, and the kit came with everything I needed. I just had to clean the area, apply the resin, and cure it with the UV light. It took me less than 30 minutes to complete the whole process. The result was quite good. The chip was almost invisible. I was very impressed by the quality and effectiveness of this kit. It saved me a lot of money and hassle. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has minor windscreen damage. It is a great solution for repairing windscreen stone chips.

This is one of those items you hope you never have to use but like a First Aid kit its all there on standby.
In the box you have two tubes, one for the clear filler and a hardener. There is a suction frame with four suction cups upon which you mount the tube. holder, the liquid is injected into the chip until it becomes clear, its advisable to vacuum the chip first to extact any debris. Once the liquid is inserted a razor is used to trim off the excess and a clear cellophane sheet is placed over the chip and clamped down until air dried. Everthing you need is in the kit. A great saving all round if needed.

As I drive a lot on roads where there’s an actual danger of getting rocks on your windshield (already has happened once), this is a great product to have in your car to fix any issues in emergency. Whenever you get a crack it should be fixed asap as wind pressure can make it worse.

The instructions show that this is simple to use. The materials are also high quality and this is clearly well thought product. As seen in the second picture it takes extremely little space too, making it perfect addition to any car without sacrificing space.

Great product and I have no concerns that this won’t work if there is ever need for it.
