Great for dark haired ladies
This is a great device for those with darker hair.
My Mrs is mediterranean so like mosr suffers with the dark hair on faces upper lips etc and are always conscious of this.
This product removes easily and painlessly. My wifes confidence is so much higher now after using this.
Great for all over body hair too not just facial, works well and easy to operate just make sure you follow the instructions.

Absolutely in love with it. Looks just like on pictures and it does the job brilliantly. Easy to use, there is a manual with it. I followed instructions and after about 7 weeks of using it I’ve noticed difference. Definitely worth every penny. Lightweight. I’ve started with level 1 and with each use I’ve increased the power and it seems to work for me. Now doing it every two weeks. Still have some hair growing out but it definitely less now, less visible, and is definitely much improvement to what it was. Don’t have to shave as often and it really helps my sensitive skin. I wish I bought it earlier, all those holidays wasted on covering legs
Good device
Very good hair removal device. Very easy to hold, very strong and intelligent build. It is really comfortable, just a little itchy feeling or no pain at all, and it has an excellent cooling function. The packet is really large since it comes with lots of important items with it. However, the actual item is not as large as it shows in the packet image. It is easy to hold in an adult palm. The device came with so many flashes that it will run for a lifetime.
However, I will strongly suggest caution and some research if it is the first-time someone using it.

After 8 weeks the results are impressive. Much cheaper than salon treatments.

First thing you need to do is shave. Which sounds odd because you think ain’t that what this is supposed to kinda do. Which is get rid of the hair.
But as far as I can work out, this works on the root of the hairs/follicles to stop them growing and it won’t happen overnight. They suggested every 3 to 5 days, but looking into further you can use it on certain parts of the body different amounts of time. Probably depend on how hairy the area is and how course the hair is etc
I did try zap my other half for him to see and feel how it works, obviously I hadn’t shaved him. But the smell of hair being zapped isn’t nice. So at least I know now what it’s like done on none shaved skin lol
There are 9 settings but start from number one and build it up over time.
I not noticed much of a change yet with the hair grown but it’s still early days. But I can’t say if it was this or not because I have no way of proving it but I used this on some whiskers on my chinny chin chin, that sprouted out of nowhere when u hit ya 40’s and hormonal acne. What I can say is that the acne wasn’t as bad and didn’t last as long as normal. So I will hopefully see a difference in that also because I didn’t realise that the letters functions where to help other thongs not judt to stop hair growth.

My wife loves this product, its easy to use and simple to operate also lightweight to hold . Laser hair removal device arrived with everything u need to start the process even protective glasses and a razor to remove hair before using the unit .this is great because not only is for removing hair but also for skin rejuvenate and acne removal, just press button to turn on ( same button to turn it off) then choose one of the 3 modes to start your great experience.The energy button goes from 1 – 9 , my wife using 6 or 7 and says doesn’t hurt at all just a little pinch on the skin that all. She only use it for hair so far and definitely she can see the difference, the hair is thinner and growing slower, my wife is very happy with this product.
Lightweight to hold and easy to use!
Lightweight to hold and super easy to navigate and use. Laser hair removal unit comes with power lead, sunglasses to protect your eyes whilst using and a disposable razor to remove the hair before using it. The controls are easy to navigate, press the on/off button to turn the unit on. There are 3 modes, hair removal, acne removal and skin rejuvenation. These can be changed with pressing the mode button and then the energy switch button. The energy modes go from 1 up to 9. I’ve been using this for a few weeks and find it simple and easy to use. Seems to be doing the trick. Highly recommend.
I was keen to try this as I epilate usually rather than shave as it lasts longer but the idea of this light treatment minimising the hair that grows back was very appealing and I can’t get out to any salons at the moment.
The idea is to shave first and then use the IPL as it targets the root rather than removing hair I believe.
The gadget is light and comfortable to hold and angled so it’s easy to reach most areas
I had a quick research on using IPL and discovered very importantly that this is not suitable for you to use if you have a tan which surprised me but it makes sense as if your skin is already ‘damaged’ so to speak – then using intense light treatment could lead to burns, etc.
You should use with caution if you’ve ever had Herpes apparently as the light can react with it (I’m guessing more for when used in the bikini area or on your face) It also shouldn’t be used if you have very light blonde hair or red hair, not to be used over moles, birth marks, tattoos etc – it’s best to check if this is really suitable for you.
The device has a cooling plate which helps lower the overall temperate so it is comfortable to use and this is a great feature.
The light used is very bright and pulses – so it will give off a flash, you can wear sunglasses while using which helps.
I’ve been using on my legs and underarms and so far I can’t say I really noticed any hair removal or patches with no growth but as its a ‘treatment’ I’m expecting it to improve with further uses as this is something you need to use long term to see results but I shall update accordingly! Very pleased so far.
Pros:
1- it was very gentle on my skin. you can use it all over, even on those sensitive spots. Love that it has this cooling feature to soothe your skin as you go. No burns yet
2- It’s pretty easy to get the hang of. Comes with clear instructions and feels comfy in your hand, even if you’re using it for a while.
3- Considering how much you’d spend at a hair removing shop or salon, this little machine is a total wallet-saver in the long run.
Cons:
1- it’s kinda chunky. If you’ve got small hands, it might feel a bit bulky
2- I did not like that I need to stay close to a socket. The cord could definitely be longer for more freedom.
3- it may take longer to see a perfect result. You may also find a bit hit or miss for some spot at the beginning. However, depending on your hair type or skin tone, results might vary.
4- more information about the quality and safety of the internal material is needed.
Firstly, let me say, I am not a hairy person, but I do have light hairs on my legs and arms.
To test this properly, I have been using it on one leg only. The other leg is getting no treatment at all, nature is just taking it’s merry course.
I have been using this for 3 weeks now, as instructed, and I can see a difference – hairs are more sparse, and the ones that are there are thinner and weaker. So it does work.
If you are hairier than I, you will probably have to be more patient and persistent, as it will take longer to get rid of the hair – but from my experience it will work if you put the time and effort it.
It doesn’t take long to us (on one leg anyway!) and instructions are clear and easy to follow. I didn’t find it uncomfortable, and went up to level 5 out of level 9, which seemed adequate for my leg. It does suggest building up from Level 1, which I did.
I would recommend this.
My wife has used these devices for years although i’m personally not a big fan of them but i’m not really the target market for this anyway. This one is pretty good however, it’s great value for its price and delivering precisely on its intended functions, it’s easy to handle and use. I remember when these came out a few years ago, paying c.450 for a branded equivalent and I really don’t see much between this one and the one I purchased before
The IPL has 9 energy levels and both auto and manual modes, it covers a wide range of applications beyond hair removal. Supposedly, it can be used to address acne issues and promoting skin rejuvenation but i’m not entirely convinced by this, the primary function is always hair removal.
The small LCD screen is really useful and covers power level/mode and the selected function. Included is a razor blade and protective glasses. Overall, it proves to be a reliable and secure method for long-lasting hair removal compared to traditional shaving.
53 at the time of review is a bargain (currently on sale so this may not be accurate), however it should be noted that these things do take a while to be fully effective but if you stick to it, it’ll work well
IPL machines are a great way to keep hair at bay without the need to have to shave on a regular basis which can cause irritation on legs etc.
This IPL machine is well priced and with plenty of useful settings to ensure you can get the best from it.
Within the box you get everything you need including glasses etc.
The shape of the device means it is very easy to hold. Some IPL devices I’ve seen tend to be a little more awkward. But this is perfect shape.
The various settings means you can build up on power as you get used to using an IPL device.
It is generally recommended to start on a fairly low setting so as to test your skin tolerance and ensure you have no adverse reactions.
Using it takes patience, doing bit at a time it isn’t a process to be rushed. Take your time with it and you will find longer term benefits.
After using for several weeks already I’ve noticed hairs coming back much slower and this will only get better over time.
Overall it is a great price, and very easy to use. The results are effective and will likely save money from going to professional services every month or so over time. Definitely can recommend
Affordable home IPL removal
This pretty cool and effective. It does have sort of tickling sensation and burning smell to start with.
Good to hold, a bit bulky but not too heavy.
Covering a small area, and one shot at a time.
Does take a while, but the effects are longer lasting.
For the price of a shaver, this is value for money.
However, this is only works well with darker hair on lighter skin tone, as per the chart.
Would be nice if there is a built in battery for portability and easier for manoeuvre around the body.
Reasonable at only under 53 with voucher.
I’ve been using the device for several weeks now and it works better in some areas than in others.
The hair on my legs is very fair so it doesn’t seen to be doing very much there (and this is clearly stated in the product description regarding the effectiveness based on hair colour) however on my underarm and bikini area I am starting to see results.
It is simple to use, but you must make sure you read the instructions carefully before use and wear the safety glasses.
Well worth the investment in my opinion and although it will require upkeep, it’s still a lot cheaper than having it done at my local beauticians.

I haven’t used this method of hair removal before and I was sceptical. However being only on wk 2, I already see a reduction. The product is easy to use and covers a good area in one go. You need patience with this, vs the instant results of a razor, but I am confident the results will be worth it based on the change in 2 wks
This arrived well presented in its own branded stylish box and in shrink wrap. The overall presentation is good and it would make a great gift idea.
This unit comes with just about everything you need, including a standard razor and dark glasses for eye protection from the light emissions whilst in use and a quick guide as well as the user manual. If this is the first time using one of these, It can be a a bit daunting at first but they are straight forward to use and it takes a bit of patience as the results are not evident straight away. To be successful, it is advisable to keep up with the recommended hair removal treatment schedule. The unit is easy to hold for long periods with rounded edges and feels sturdy in use. The supplied power supply could be longer for ease of use but it is not too much of an issue.
There are different settings including x 2 modes automatic or manual and 9 intensity levels to match skin tone/sensitivity and body parts. You need to refer to the skin tone chart and instructions for best results. After doing a skin sensitivity test on the lower levels, the unit can be adjusted to how you prefer to progress with comfort levels. This was ordered for my better half and when a similar device was used for the first time, some redness was experienced around the treated area, which disappeared after a few hours. This Glattol device has produced no redness so far and no discomfort.
The overall zapping can take some getting used to but the whole operation is generally smooth and with this device the cooling effect works well. These devices only cover a smallish area at a time so patience is a virtue and once this has been done consistently over time, the results are generally good.
This is a nice unit with easy to follow instructions. At time of writing this review it is 49.99 with a 50 off voucher applied, which represents great value.
At 120 this is expensive for an IPL hair remover which is mains operated but given the power it needs you will understand why its mains powered, you MUST follow the very clear instructions or you could have a reaction to this use the glasses to protect your eyes and the shaver before use, overall this is going to take a around 8 weeks to see any real effect so I will update at that time. This appears to be very easy to use with the adjustment buttons and clear lcd display it has some coloured lights as indicators of the use etc overall this is well made and very close to another branded one. Been using this device for a while now. I was so amazed by it’s result. It is nice and easy to operate without any hassles at all. I got fine hairs on my hands and legs. But was thinking would be nice to get them removed and keep skin smoothly for Summer. It worked quite well. No gel needed. Just plug in and switch on then adjust the level wanted. Cream after using it. It also has contained very thoughtful accessories including nice pair of sunglasses to protect eyes while using and a mini shaver. I used few times so far. Felt my skin nice and smooth. This is permanent laser remover. The more to use the better result. So far so good.
