Decent bit of ki
Bought this for my girlfriends birthday and straight away we were amazed how good this thing is.Easy to use through the app, performance very well in my opinion and a really love self cleaning option. All you need to do is replace the dust bag from time to time.Money well spended.
Amazing little robot ! It does a really good job
I was amazed by this little robot , it actually does a great job and is very handy as you can control it via the app and put it to work at anytime
It is incredibly intelligent and all the features are great!
It helps me a lot especially to clean under the bed which is 12cm off the floor and it goes underneath without any issue
The mopping function is great too
Definitely recommend to anyone
Fabulous
I’ve wanted a robot vacuum for awhile and I am delighted I finally jumped in and purchased. I love the map and being able to set it to run early morning. Getting up to a fresh clean and mopped floor is like being in a hotel. It puts a smile on my face each day. I’ve called her Baby and yes I do keep her in a corne
Best thing I bought in 2023
The robot cleans every day at 11pm when we go to bed. We have 3 dogs that live in the kitchen doesn’t bother them at all. I’ve not had to hoover up at all since buying this robot. Only had to mop a couple of times just to get a good deep clean. Would certainly recommend. Saves you time on choir’s you don’t like doing.
Great vacuum
The robot performs really well in both tiles and carpet surfaces. The mop function is also very handy. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the app, which I feel it is a bit complicated and confusing and perhaps add some instructions in the manual or quick guide around removing mop attachment when you only want vacuum option and how to set up zones properly but other than that it’s a great vacuum.
Easy to set up and use
Wasn’t sure how good the app would be and how much it would offer but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the feature that shows the history of your cleans – acts as a reminder when you know when the machine last did its stuff. As far as the quality of the clean, I can’t really fault it although I’m sure a clean with a manual vacuum would give better coverage; e.g. tops of skirting boards. Not tried it on anything other than hard floors so far – basically because that’s all we have downstairs.
Great piece of kit, very happy with overall
Great device, we use it daily for a quick sweep of the house. It works well but there are 2 drawbacks.
1) It does not do well with rugs/mats
2) It does not clean up everything but does get 80%+. For example it may sweep dirt into a corner so we still have to vacuum.
The pros are:
Easy set up
Mop function is good for daily but not for deep cleans – also have to remove mop attachment
App is intuitive but would have been nice to have push notifications/notifications of errors/being stuck through the app
Vacuum is good and I love that it will vacuum daily
Smart location tracking!
Great bo
It takes some getting used to and learning what it can do. The manual didn’t open on my phone so took some trial and error but helped that family also has the same model so they were able to help. It has freed up loads of time which is great.
HONITURE Robot Vacuum Cleane
We use our robot floor cleaner on a deep clean every other day. It does an amazing job! Our kids love watching the robot at work. It also helps the kids keep the house tidy. As they know we can’t put it on unless they have put everything away! So, it’s a win win if you have children for sure. Our little sausage dog is now used to it too, and doesn’t have a problem and will just move out of it’s way.
Great Robot cleaner, great quality, wonderful value for money.
What are you waiting for! Save yourself time vacuuming and mopping!
Glad I bought i
I like not having to hoover anymore!
Glad I bought it but there are things you should know.
It has a small chamber and with three big hairy dogs it struggles to cope. So, we have set areas in the house and schedule hoovering in areas separately so that it can empty regularly. It doesn’t get into corners so still need to occasionally take a brush or hoover around edges and under low furniture. A little noisy so worth scheduling for times when you’re not watching tv. With hairy dogs you need to untangle brushes and wheels regularly.
Washing function not been as good as I expected which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. It wets floor but doesn’t lift dirty spots. Have given up on that function but we schedule hoovering for twice a day with 3 dogs and floor is kept fairly dust and hair free so doesn’t take long to run a mop around the rooms.
Amazing for my needs!
I have been using Honiture for the last couple of months now and I must say it is making my life easier! I have two cats and a dog and robot is really good with picking up all the fur and dirt. I don’t have carpets at home except for a couple of small rugs so that’s why I chose robot with mopping option and it actually works very well! One of my cats hates all the hoovers but as soon as Honiture turns on, he is there and follows robot around
(probably wants a free ride!). App is also pretty easy to use so no complaints with that. Overall I would definitely recommend!
An excellent alternative
I bought this robotic vacuum cleaner (I noticed in the reviews that everyone calls it Robert but since the human cleaners I know are all women I call her Roberta) as an alternative, but not replacement to an upright cleaner. For this purpose, it is excellent. Now that my house has both been mapped, and I am confident she can be left to herself, I am quite happy to set her going from my iPad and continue working at my computer, knowing that all the carpets on my ground floor have been well cleaned. It is very thorough, you certainly know where Roberta has been. It won’t go up or downstairs, which means either reprogramming her for a second floor or, as I intend to do when finances allow, get a second one. It depends how big your house is I suppose. But I can’t end this review without saying how much fun I have had with Roberta. At first I thought she only had one topic of conversation (“I need recharging”), but I now know she has quite a range. Last week, she was shouting at the top of her voice “Remove Object”, “Remove Object”. When I went to see what the trouble was, I found the cat sitting on top of her yelling (I assume) “She won’t play with me! She won’t play with me!”. Which just shows that AI can be fun.
1 month - I'd highly recommend it.
It’s still yet to prove itself over it’s life span but as far it currently goes, I cannot really complain compared to the price I paid.
At first I was very sceptical and it was hard to choose a specific brand and a vacuum, and I didn’t really know it it’s actually going to make that big of a difference, but it really does. For the past month I have not manually vacuumed at all and the floors are spotless.
The mopping is an additional feature which requires a bit more of manual inserting and all, but I’m sure a lot of people would appreciate this feature too, as it works, to an extent of course.
95% of the time the floors and carpets are clean and also 99% of the time the vacuum finds it’s way around the house, occasionally getting stuck on some piece of clothing maybe if I leave it, but usually it will go around it too.
As far as the pathfinding is concerned it actually exceeded my expectations of how smart it is.
Bottom line. Is it the best vacuum out there ? I’m sure it isn’t, but considering the price, adding promotions onto that, I think it’s a good deal.
Sweet little gadget that needs some improvements
Positives:
1. It’s a cute gadget that does a descent job. I have it now for 3 months. The carpet in my home is old and collects a lot of hair. The vacuum cleaner manages to clean the majority of it, but it can’t clear it up completely. That’s not an issue because I know the state of the carpet and in order to be cleaned there has to be manual work involved anyway. I like that it is noticeable that it has cleaned because the carpet gets lighter.
2. It does well on uneven surfaces meaning that it doesn’t get stuck there.
3. On hard floors it’s great. My kitchen and bathroom are usually easiest and quickest to clean.
4. A great selling point for me was that it has the dust collector device. This is a great convenience not needing to empty manually the vacuum cleaner after every use. Very happy about this.
Negatives:
1. The biggest flow for me are the sensors. It bumps into everything that it’s on its way. It often gets stuck in cables. It would also go on top of your feet. Luckily it can’t hurt you seriously.
I’m not sure if it’ll detect when it’s close to stairs. I think it most likely will fall off. I don’t have stairs at home so can’t test it.
2. I can’t also figure out in what motion cleans because often circles for a while on the same spot and then very soon announces that clean up has been completed when it actually hasn’t cleaned the whole floor.
3. I also have to move it manually to specific spots that I need it to clean better or to clean in general, because it ends the cleaning cycle quicker than I wish and it ends up missing whole areas of the floor.
4. It often announces stuff while cleaning which I can’t really hear. So maybe these messages can be sent to the app as well so you can understand its behaviour better.
5. It often takes awhile to find the dust collector/charging station. It circles and circles, and if it takes awhile it’s suspends itself. So this makes me think the map feature needs improvement as well.
6. It’s a bit expensive and it feels like some things would’ve been nice if they weren’t present for the value. But I assume it’s not a cheap technology to develop so probably the price is justified.
If it works for a while without breaking down, I would buy in the future an improved version. I understand technology always evolves so as long as it’s sturdy and doesn’t break easily I’m happy to give this brand a try in the future.
Wish we had bought one years ago
My wife had wanted us to buy a robot vacuum like this for years, and I always delayed over concerns about sucking power, ability to navigate its way around and then charging and emptying. Anyway, this year we agreed to do our homework and buy the best model that was reasonably priced.
We really wanted to get a model that has both mopping and vacuum modes and also could automatically recharge itself and empty into the docking station. We both searched for several days reading reviews and comparing different models. We eventually felt that the Q 6 Pro (this model) was the best option without getting crazy expensive.
We have been using it for a few weeks now and it starts in the corner of one of the rooms in our house and then proceeds to work its way through each room carefully mapping out each position of each obstacle and responding differently to carpets and hard-flooring. Very impressive and we like ours very much. I had thought that being round, it might have problems with corners and smaller places, but it has a little brush attachment that helps it get into smaller square corners.
Even the dog seems to be unphased by our little robot (can’t say the same for our normal vacuum which drives him crazy).
Really happy with our purchase, it was really easy to set up and now we can finally vacuum every day.
Better than I could ever imagine
I’d been toying with the idea of a robot vacuum cleaner for a while, but was worried that they couldn’t possibly be powerful enough to do a decent job. Then I saw this as a Black Friday deal and figured I may as well try one and send it back if it’s not fit for purpose.
Within 10 minutes of opening the box I was a convert. It’s heavy, feels well made and picked up cat hair that the Shark simply couldn’t. It buzzes around, between and under furniture and never gets lost, then when it’s finished it reverses onto it’s base and empties its container.
Absolutely brilliant bit of kit. If you’re in two minds, just order it..
Every Millenials dream! Never hoovering again.
If like me you are one of those people who have somehow grown up and live in your own place, yet still have to constantly remind yourself that no one is going to clean up after you but yourself.. then this little baby is for you!
It is literally as simple as unpackage, plug in, download the app then let your Honiture (henceforth known as Roobi) get cracking. It automagically maps out your house then you can stick some avoid zones on so it doesn’t go in to battle with your Christmas tree light cables.
It’s not silent, but you can choose the level of suction which can make it quieter or louder. It automatically detects carpets/rugs and increases suction.
Don’t worry about how many rooms it says it limited to – you can just pick it up and plonk it anywhere and it’ll work it out.. but you will lose your avoid zones by applying this super lazy technique (as previously mentioned, as a super lazy person I apply this technique and it’s fine).
Allergic to wires and square based coffee tables, like Farage in the jungle Roobi will give anything a go. You do require some pre-vacuum admin like moving chairs and picking up small discarded treasures.
The dock is awesome, as Roobi auto empties herself each time she finishes her duties. If at first your Roobi doesn’t empty herself, she’s either way too full from all your dirt, or the little collection bag in the dock isn’t correctly housed. Just test and adjust and it’ll work like a dream.
Honestly the best Christmas present ever. Our household considers Roobi part of the family and she is regularly included in conversation. I’ve convinced my children she’s a robot pet so has saved on those costly vet bills too.
Absolutely in love
I treated the household to this robot vac and mop. I wasn’t sure what to expect. This has been my favourite thing I have bought for a long time. Its amazing! I can sit on my sofa while it hovers and mops my house. I have it set to go off when we are all in bed with the the section of the room the toys get piled in, excluded.
I can set it off when I’m out of the house. This has been fab when iv invited a mum friend home while out and we come back to shining flooring.
The vac robot empties itself into the home bit, so it’s easy to use over and over again. We have a large open plan downstairs, 6 children and a busy life. Iv had this robot since mid November, it’s now after Christmas and I still haven’t had to empty it.
If there is any problems (I left a babygrow on the floor and it was hovered up.) The robot just stoped put an allert on the app and waited for me to fix the problem so there was no damage to either the robot or the baby grow.
The app is so easy to use and making routines for the robert to set of automatically are very easy to do. Sectioning off the space is easy so you can target areas.
I am absolutely in love and will not be going back to life without one.
Good Little helpe
I have tried a few of these “Robovacs” but I like this one better. The Price is steep, that is a downside. It is easy to set up. The battery lasts a fair bit before homing for a recharge. The suction and pick is better than a few I have tried. For me that is a selling point. It has a good mapping capability and performs very well on hard surfaces like tiles and wooden floor/laminates etc. I tried it on ceramic tiles and wooden floor. The performance was impressive. I also tried it on a deep carpet, while this is not comparable to a corded vacuum cleaner, it certainly helps to keep the carpet reasonably clean.
Best Robot Vacuum Cleane
This is my first purchase of a robot vacuum cleaner. After doing some research and reading many reviews decided to purchase Honiture Q6 Pro. So far I am very pleased with the hoover. The build quality is superior, and came very packaged. The instruction are simple to follow. You have to use the app which can be little tricky to link up specially with Alexa of you are intending to do so. However once setup the app is easy to use and have kids of options, scheduling, changing suction settings, and lot more. Haven’t used mopping as much but it’s a simple wet mop with no detergent. It has big wheels to go up over uneven floors etc. So far it has been exactly what I expected it to do. It is unexpectedly noisy when it empties the dirt to the main unit. But it’s only for few seconds. I am very delighted with the purchase and would happily recommend this to anyone.
Effective 'house maid'
Appears well made and cleans our predominately laminate floor very well. We have a spaniel who sheds hair and our morning routine was to take the dog for a walk then vac when we came back. Now we set ‘Rosie’ vac going as we leave the house and the floor is nice and clean when we return. The mopping action is quite effective and does a good job, the app maps the room layout. Would recommend.
Time saving!
Great and suitable performance in suitable price
I’ve been using this product for few month and it’s been a brilliant experience so far. It’s very sustainable and easy to zuse domestic product. It makes the cleaning more a fun and a simple task to do. It got a good suction capacity and definitely worth the price
Made life so easy.
I am amazed by this cleaner. I am an OAP and not very good with tech stuff. I have to admit it took me a while to set it up on my phone, but once done, I’m in love.
I suffer with arthritis and my old cleaner was getting to heavy to push around so I thought I would invest in this (a bit over my budget) So pleased I did, I have a dog and have to hover twice a day sometimes. I just press start on my phone and get on with my day. I couldn’t be without it now. If I knew how to send pictures I would. I think it has now paid for itself, you can’t put a price on how it has reduced my pain. Now please make one to strip and make my bed x
Surprisingly good!
May appear a bit of a gimmick, but this a well made, effective, and (so far) a very reliable bit of kit. It’s also fun!
Getting the initial setup was a bit challenging, but YouTube videos etc provided the solution easily & quickly. Takes its time to map out the rooms, but copes well with obstacles being moved around between vacuums, but can’t handle deep pile rugs or slippy sloped objects like the bases of our breakfast bar stools.
Overall though, it’s genuinely a very good product and although the Brand is new to me, it reviewed well when I was researching what one to buy, and I’ve been delighted with it so far.
Generally grea
Great product on the whole. Sometimes has to go over a room twice to hoover everything but generally great, we have a dog who sheds lots too. Get all the muddy footprints off the kitchen floor in mop mode too. I wish it could transition between carpet and hard floor with the mop attached by lifting it off the ground so could do everything in one step rather than room by room. As it either gets stuck when going on the carpet or drags behind a muddy mop (on a cream carpet!)
This is my second robot cleaner. My previous one was quite cheap, didn’t have a mop function nor the ability to map the house as I was on a student budget! And with the same budget it stopped functioning properly after a year and a half and did a lacking job on carpets (we moved into a house where the living room is covered in the ugliest, oldest rug). I decided to give this a try after exhausting myself keeping on top of cleaning a house with 4 other people, as I like to maintain and tidy the house daily. I also really love gadgets and anything that makes life easier while looking cool. I was most drawn by the mapping feature as my previous one would randomly clean and miss spots. The mop is an extra feature I thought would be useful especially for the kitchen (the floor gets fed a lot of crumbs and other spills) and perhaps the corridor if I was feeling lazy.
It came in two boxes for protection, and was well packed and looked very high-end and sleek. Setting up was easy enough (if you have trouble connecting the robot to the app, I find restarting the router a fix especially with all the gadgets that require 2.5 mHz wifi – which btw nowadays comes together with the 5 mHz in the modern routers and automatically connects to the appropriate frequency) and you are supplied with all the appropriate tid bits, and extras for future use. The mop part isn’t initially connected to the dusk box; you’ll have to fill the water compartment first and attach it after. It’s suggested you keep all boxes until the Amazon return period ends in case there is anything wrong with the delivery or any of the parts themselves, and even still I would at least keep the product box somewhere in storage.
On first use the robot hoover will go around the house and familiarise itself with all the rooms. I found it a bit louder than my old robot but that one also had less suction power; the Q6 pro has suction options you can choose from on the app, but otherwise it automatically recognises when it runs on rugs and carpets. I also have a very scaredy kitten who jumped at the noise first but got used to it and just observed it after a minute. After finishing its cleaning round, it announces (yes the robot speaks!) that it will go back to the dock to charge. The emptying of the dust box into the dock sounds like an airplane taking off which I found quite funny, but it only takes it about 5 seconds. There is a dust bag inside the dock, which isn’t even a quarter full after 10 or so days of cleaning (but of course that would depend on how much it has to clean up).
The app itself is ok to use, I didn’t find it particularly intuitive but it neither needs a PhD to get used to it. After fiddling around with the app, you can find options to merge rooms (for some reason it thought my hallway was divided into two) and rename them for your convenience.
I tried the mopping feature today before writing this review, filled up the water tank half full and attached the cloth under the dust box. The robot will recognise when you do so. In the app there is an option to select which rooms you would like to clean and mop only, so if you have certains rooms covered in carpet then it is very useful. Though I have noticed it still tries to go over some rugs, like the front door mat, it seems to find it difficult to get on with the little mop rug but once it did I couldn’t feel it getting wet, so I’m not sure how the water compartment works (I saw a small tube and heard a spray-like sound when it got ready to mop so maybe it has to spray the mop wet rather than wetting it fully and dragging it around). Like another reviewer mentioned I would also definitely take off the wet cloth once it’s finished doing its round in case it touches your wooden floors or rugs.
After 10 days of using it I would say the robot and the dock have no obvious flaws; despite having only one brush on the left it does a fantastic job of picking up everything from the corners, even from my old carpet. What the robot does is run along the corners of the rooms first, then follows it with a ‘zigzag’ pattern across the room. Leave it be and it will do it’s job of maintaining your house floors while you are at work or relaxing with your feet up.
Any issues I have are with the app; I think they could do with a few updates as a suggestion:
1) There are a few typos as pointed out by other reviewers though I agree that it’s probably because they’ve been translated from the original Chinese. Renaming some terms too, for example “Timer” can be changed to “Schedule” as it’s easier to recognise.
2) An easier way to redraw/re-map rooms.
3) When mopping in rooms with rugs, if this isn’t already implemented (I have not noticed this), then use the sensors to stop going over rugs when in mopping mode. Since the robot knows when it gets on rugs and carpets (as changes its suction power), perhaps an update could be rolled out to avoid rugs and carpets when mopping.
4) Make the “no mop” areas easier to select. I had to resize and drag the small squares and rectangles over the living room as it has carpet. I think selecting the entire zone/room to be a no-mop area would be easier. (Though as I manually have to attach the mop cloth, on the app I just selected which zones I wanted to be cleaned). EDIT: I think I have found the option to set each room to the desired mop setting; in partition editing > custom mode > select the room to set suction force and mop wetness (which has a “dry” option too)!!
5) An Amazon Alexa skill be implemented as I found connecting the robot to Alexa a bit tedious so I gave up. It’s not a massive issue though at it just takes a finger press on the robot to get it to start cleaning, or if you are away you could do it through the app (I have no tested this yet).
Otherwise I am very happy with this purchase, it’s a bit of an investment but for someone like me for whom a clean house means no mental stress and less bickering with family, it’s a good companion to have.
And make sure to register for the 2 year warranty! I will come back for an updated review in a few months as follow up customer service is very important to me in case anything goes wrong!
A Game Changer in Household Cleaning - The Rovot Hoover and Mop!
The robot hoover and mop has been an absolute game changer for me! After using it for a while, I can confidently say that it’s the best purchase I have made in a long time. Not only does it provide excellent cleaning results, but it also saves me a significant amount of time and effort.
One of the standout features of this device is its scheduling capability. Being able to set specific times for it to hoover and mop automatically is incredibly convenient. Now, I can simply relax or engage in other activities while the iRobot takes care of the floor cleaning on its own. It has truly freed up my time, allowing me to spend more quality moments with my family and friends.
I also appreciate the customization options this device offers. With the ability to set zones where the robot shouldn’t touch, such as near the dog bowls, I no longer need to worry about it interfering with specific areas or causing any unwanted mess.
Another impressive aspect of the robot hoover and mop is its self-emptying feature. With a dust bag located in the charging dock, the device automatically empties its dust and collection. This eliminates the hassle of constantly emptying the dustbin. However, it’s worth mentioning that the water compartment does require manual emptying.
The cleaning performance of this device is exceptional. It effectively vacuums and mops various surfaces, leaving them spotless. I have noticed a significant improvement in the cleanliness of my floors since using the iRobot hoover and mop.
In summary, the robot hoover and mop is an outstanding investment for anyone seeking a convenient and efficient cleaning solution. It saves time and effort, allowing you to focus on the things you love while maintaining a clean home. If you’re looking to simplify your cleaning routine and enhance your overall lifestyle, this device is definitely worth considering.
We recently welcomed a new member to our household cleaning that has revolutionized the way we approach cleaning. As someone who values a clean and tidy living space but also understands the demands of a busy life, this robot has been an absolute game-changer as it can pretty much do things on its own once powered on.
One of the standout features of this robot is its ability to adapt to different surfaces and obstacles. From hardwood to tile to carpets, it navigates seamlessly between them, adjusting its cleaning method accordingly. The sensors strategically placed on the robot prevent collisions with furniture and objects, ensuring both effective cleaning and the safety of my belongings.
With smart mapping and navigation systems, it creates a virtual map of the space it’s cleaning, ensuring no area is left untouched. Additionally, the robot’s connectivity to my smartphone allows me to schedule cleaning sessions remotely, giving me complete control of things.
Its efficient operation, adaptability, advanced technology, effective cleaning process, and low maintenance make it an exceptional addition to any home. If you’re looking to reclaim your time while maintaining a pristine living environment, investing in this robot is an absolute no-brainer.
This is my first robot vacuum as I was looking for something to help me with the everyday maintenance of laminate floors (which show up dust and dirt a lot easier and faster than carpet!) Very easy to set up. It has great suction power, cleans my floors and rug very well. The mop function is a nice little bonus too. It’s not particularly loud compared to my normal vacuum cleaner. It does get loud when it’s self-emptying but it’s about as loud as one of those big cyclinder VAX vacuums and it lasts less than a minute so it’s not bothersome at all.
I love the self-emptying feature, bag removal is very easy and cleverly designed so you don’t have a puff of dust everywhere when you remove the bag from the docking station. The app is very easy to use too, it provides a lot of options in terms of suction power or mopping power. You can schedule times for when you want the robot to clean and set any no-go or no-mop zones (e.g. I don’t want my rug being mopped!)
It’s very clever at navigating the room and avoiding obstacles, even going underneath my little coffee table as it’s a flat little thing. And completely not the point but it’s also quite cute watching it wander around cleaning 🙂 Would completely recommend!
I have has the Q6 Pro for 3 days now so here are my initial thoughts and observations.
Packaging – The unit was very well packaged and gave the impression that it was a quality product rather than something cheaper. A very small point but one I noticed was the plastic bags the various components were packed in looked and felt much better than the usual polythene bags one normally gets. Like I say, a small point but it gave an immediate impression of quality.
Instruction Manual – It is good to have a detailed physical manual rather than having to rely on downloading a pdf. Well done. However I noticed some of minor translation errors in the English text. There are also terms that are not used in everyday English. I am guessing that the translation from the original language (Chinese?) was done by a non-native speaker. Although I was able to understand what was being written it could do with some updating.
The control APP – I was able to scan the QR code in the instruction booklet to download and install the HonySmart App on my iPhone and iPad without and trouble. Connecting to my home wifi was simple and worked without any problems. I initially missed the second QR code for the APP instructions so relied on trying the various functions to see what they did! Now I have seen the manual I understand better. Again there are some translation errors but I’m sure these will be sorted out in future updates.
Room editing – I found the function to split rooms somewhat difficult to use. When trying to use the line to split a room it often extends well beyond the room I am editing and splits adjacent rooms as well. Despite this I was able to edit the map to my liking. Again, I’m sure this will be improved with an update.
Actual Operation of the robot – Here all I have is praise. My first attempt was to turn it on and see what happened. My house has a number of rooms and is fairly complicated and I was amazed to watch the robot build an accurate map of the whole area and clean it. The algorithm developed to do this is first class and my congratulations to the engineers. Once the map had generated I tried cleaning separate rooms and the robot did this flawlessly. The first time I used it there was a slight problem with the onboard dust collector not being emptied properly but that was because I have a dog and there was a lot of hair causing it to block. It was easy enough to empty by hand and subsequent passes were perfect. Overall cleaning is good.
I am yet to try the mop on my laminate floor in the kitchen.
Would I recommend the unit? Yes, without hesitation. It way exceeded my expectations, never having had a robot cleaner before. Cleaning the house is now a pleasure rather than a chore. All we need now is an update allowing it to climb stairs!!
Update:
I have now been using this cleaner for some months and it continues to work wonderfully. Even when Ii move the base unit to a different location the cleaner finds it without a problem. Definitely a good buy.
I was always fancy to buy this type of advanced vacuum for my home but was hesitantly doubting the performance and reliability, but my previous experience with Honiture gave me confidence towards the brand and the quality of the product for the price. I’ve ordered this product to satisfy my long-time wish. Initially, I didn’t have much expectation but as soon I got the product delivered it gave me nice comfort and confidence as the package looks amazing.
Design and Style:
This product has been well-designed to deliver a deluxe product. I bought the Large White colour Robot which immediately adds value to the place where you keep it. Unlike the normal vacuum product which we hide in the storeroom, this Elegant rich looking product looks so cool and brings a luxurious look and feel to the place.
Initial Setup and APP:
Setting up the product is very simple and straightforward. The given instructions are simple enough to follow, and I’ve completed configuring the product very quickly. The Honismart app itself is very interactive and easy to use by anyone. I thought I need to instruct the robot to clean room by room individually, but this Smart advanced robot quickly scanned my whole house and creates a perfect clean map. This robot can be simply controlled by the app both internally and remotely. Now I can simply start my robot to clean my house after going to bed or from the office while working.
Vacuum:
It got 4 suction options in the app which we can simply switch in the app depends on the needs. I can see it got 3500PA super suction power which is a decent power for a domestic home. I am impressed with the option to select rooms which I want to clean and start from the app, this is so cool to instruct a robot to go and clean a room you prefer to clean (Impressive!!!). Also, the auto dust collection facility is again a cool feature of this product.
Intelligent Sensors:
To test this robot, I deliberately kept the robot near the stairs and started the vacuum, but the advanced sensors recognise the surface and carefully came back to the safest place and started the cleaning. These sensors work perfectly to find the complex environment and works smartly in navigation.
Finally, I am very impressed and happy with this product and would recommend to anyone who likes to add quality and technology to their home.
As an owner of the Honiture Q5 robot vacuum, and also the Honiture S12 handheld vacuum cleaner, I was excited to hear about the Q6 Pro, and was keen to see what improvements have been made.
The difference is night and day! In a good way!
After setting up the Robot, it was immediately visible in the Honiture app alongside my Q5. I can now control both Robots using my Google Home voice commands.
The first major change from the Q5 other than the LIDAR, is that the Q6 Pro has a single dust and mop unit meaning you no longer need to swap out the dust collector for the water container, making things much simpler right away. A great improvement!
The Q6 is also self-emptying, meaning you no longer need to remove the dust collector from the Robot to empty, but instead, the Robot will dock, and then the dust collector is emptied by the docking unit. You now only need to empty the docking unit rather than the Robot. There is a dust bag in the Docking Unit, which will hold a lot more than the Robot itself. You can choose to empty every time it docks/charges, every other time, or every third time it docks. The emptying is a little louder than the Robot itself, but doesn’t last long as is convenient.
I noted immediately that the cleaning pattern is different, with the Q6 performing a Y shaped motion, rather than the usual S shaped cleaning of the Q5. This seems to be a better cleaning motion than before too.
The navigation around rooms is very impressive, and it’s built in LIDAR, which enables the Robot to very precisely map out the rooms it cleans whilst cleaning. This allows you to build out virtual boundaries, rooms and areas where you can specify as No-GO zones, or NO-MOP zones. The level of customisation looks very impressive, and I am yet to test out all the features in the app. However, it looks exceptionally capable and well thought out.
The Robot has 4 power modes, from Quiet to Max, and 3 mop modes low, medium, high.
It has a much larger battery than the Q5, which suggests up to 3 hours of cleaning, a huge improvement!
In terms of style and design, the Q6 Pro is pretty sleek, it’s white to match the docking station, and has a spinning LIDAR on the top which looks cool!
The level of technology in this Robot Vacuum is very impressive and seems to work really well.
It comes with a box of consumable replacements, such as filter and brush. There is a small cleaner/knife in the lid of the Dock to help clearing of hair etc from the roller.
I’ve attached some images of the Q6 pro, and also the docking station so others get a sense of the unit.
The only change will be where I keep the Q6. Currently, the Q5 lives under the sofa, however, the Q6 is taller due to the dock, so I will need to relocate it – no big deal.
All in all, I am very very impressed with the Q6 Pro Robot Vacuum, and the improvements across the board make this a top end autonomous vacuum cleaner.
