Loud, crisp, bright sound
As I said in the video, this bike bell is fantastic. They provide the allen key, it’s easy to fit, and the sound is so crisp. Just make sure the part that rings isn’t touching anything else on the bike and you’re golden. It’s definitely better than my previous bell.
This bike bell is selling for 9.99 at the time of this review. I think that’s a good price for what you get.
This one is an easy five stars as far as I’m concerned.
Simple to fit, low profile, clear, resonant sound
I have 22.2mm dia handlebars and this bell fits them perfectly. The captive design of the screw ensures you don’t lose it whilst installing the bell, and the included allen key makes it quick to fit. The bell has a low profile that makes it inconspicuous and less likely to get caught or damaged in a fall. The note is clear, loud and long-lasting. The icing on the cake is the price of 8, which I think is well worth it.
REALLY loud and high qaulity
This bike bell is great its super discrete and its incredibly loud, also its good qaulity and its very sturdy If youre going to buy a bike bell this should be it.
Amazing looking and working cycle bell.
I understand that all bicycles when sold have to come with a bell, and the bell on the bicycle that I have was in all honesty rubbish, and seeing this thought I woul see how well it works. When it arrived it didn’t look that amazing, and I couldn’t get the sound to be that clear. HOWEVER after fixing it onto my bike, the sound is amazing and clear, it’s loud and nicely heard, it may have not been as good prior to installation as I was having to hold the bell and try and ring it.
But it has fixed to the bike really well and am REALLY pleased with it now.
lovely ring and easy to install
Nice and compact, this is simply a spring that allows you to hit a metal ring. There’s no mechanism to break and there’s no bell to fall off. Very easy to attach via one screw and the included allen key which I’ll keep in case it does work itself loose at all. So far, so very good!
Discreet and effective, but a little tricky to fit.
Even as an avid mountain bike rider there are times when a bell can be very handy to alert people of your presence, even though having a bell can be annoying to the rider and not look very “cool”.
Even some of the smaller bells on the market are a little bit clunky and get in the way and they aren’t particularly loud either.
This bell is something of a departure from the traditional style of bell, but it works surprisingly well. The tone is loud and clear and the ring-tone carries on resonating longer than I would have expected, which is a good thing. However, the thing I liked most about this bell is the fact that it doesn’t actually look like a bell and blends in well between the grip and the shifter; so much so that I don’t need to feel embarrassed when I rock-up at the bike-park or trail centre!
It’s not all good news however I struggled to fit the bell on my 22.3mm diameter bars. It might have helped if the screw had been a few mm longer, but I nearly gave up thinking it wasn’t going to fit, so handle bar diameter is pretty critical as there’s little flexibility in the design.
Easy to use
At first I couldn’t figure it out but now that I did I came back. It’s just pulling thr little thingy on the spring to hit the bit in front. Just in case anyone else is also lost. Pretty loud bell and easy to fi
Low profile bell with a very loud ding!
Great bike bell this, I love that it’s very slimline and discrete on the bike taking up little room, it looks the part and oh boy is it loud, much louder than my old style bell I had on previously.
Only complaint is it needing the allen key to tighten, which on my bike trying to get into the position I wanted was quite difficult as the brakes prevented clear access, but with much brute force I managed to twist it round into position and it was perfect.
Hands down recommend this for anyone after a bell, great little thing and no one will be able to ignore it.
Very loud and very neat.
What an incredible bell!
I have tried various different bells in the past and all have left me disappointed, except this one.
Firstly, it is a doddle to fix, the only thing to be aware of is the required diameter, this means on many modern bars you will need to mount the bell right next to the grips, however this is really where you want it so you don’t have to take your hands off the bars to use it. Also make sure you mount it so the “hammer” is near your thumb.
Once fitted operation is just a case of flicking the “hammer” with your thumb and you are greeted with a lovely loud and resonating ding.
My video doesn’t really do the bell justice it is much louder than it appears in the video.
Overall a brilliant bell and an absolute bargain.
Great for tow paths
As im not 5 years old anymore the thought of an old school bell both mentally and cosmetically sat on my mountain bike bars was not something i ever going to explore.
However constally shouting, mind your back and coming through gets old pretty quickly and you can get some pretty dirty looks if you forget yourself and go a bit overboard with the shouting.
So i was really excited to try this new style bell as its basically invisible on the bars and just looks like some new bike tech that should be there .
The bell is really bright sounding and loud, i was quite shocked at how loud it actually is.
If it doesnt rust its staying on and i can give my voice box a rest at last. I do need to take it off and check my bars however as there isnt any rubber sleeve in there so im a little worried by expensive bars might be scratched now. Maybe use some insulation tape first if your using on quality bars and care about the finish.
Impressive bell, loud with a lasting ring.
A very impressive bell, I can’t Verify the 100db claim but it is loud and it rings for quite a time.
My video doesn’t do the bell justice but the ring is quite ear piercing if you are close to it.
It’s very light and compact in size, I like these type of bells as my commuter bike has bullhorn bars and these fit nicely on the bar ends so the bell is easy to thumb strike.
Exquisite bell but only for a very small (child's) handleba
The most important thing to know about this Icocopro bicycle bell is that it will only fit a handlebar of 22mm diameter; there is very little room for adjustment either side of this.
Also it cannot be touching any of the cables near the handlebar or the ring will be damped. 22 mm is a very small diameter, barely more than my thumb, so you do need to check. You can get it onto a bigger diameter handlebar but if the inner fitting expands to touch the outer ringer then it won’t sound properly and you also won’t be able to tighten it to secure it.
If it fits, it’s great: it’s well-made, attractive and has a beautiful sound. It’s mostly made of good quality plastic, but the bell itself is metal.
Simple, brilliant, very loud and very well made
What a great item. I was surprised how small the box was when it came. But that’s part of the charm. It is very discreet, looks very subtle on the handlebars. It is very well made, it looks very high quality and is aesthetically pleasing. And best of all I have never heard a bell as loud in my life. See the video!
So to me this is a very easy recommendation. The best looking bell on the market. It’s very loud. As it’s mechanical and not electronic you won’t have to change the batteries or worry about it in the rain. It’s simple. A strip of metal and a thing that strikes it. Best bike bell I’ve ever seen. 5*
