Great lights for outdoor use
We bought 2 sets of lights to put around 6 trees in our front garden. We had enough to have a nice coverage of light, and the cable length was plenty long enough to plug in inside. Especially liked that they had a memory so remembered what setting you have them on, rather than having to choose every time they are switched on. Would definitely buy again for outdoor and indoor use.
4 stars just because of remote control lacking
Overall, great purchase: bright, 8 different patterns, definitely waterproof (had them outdoor under heavy rain for 3 days, always on), well built.
However, a remote control would have been a nice and very needed addition: since they are intended for outdoor use, during Christmas, it is a pain to go out in the rain / freezing weather to unplug and replug every day.
