Very good bike. Decent quality for the price. It has helped me greatly after my knee replacement. Just ten minutes a day to start, and it makes a huge difference. Definitely a two person lift.

I purchased the Joroto X2Pro over a week ago and I absolutely love it. I have been on it every day and haven’t been to the gym since. It is very silent and very sturdy. I keep it in my spare room and it is easy to transport on the wheels even though it is a heavy bike. I managed to put it together on my own and it took about 20 minutes. It feels and looks like one of the spin bikes at my gym. Overall I am extremely impressed given the price and quality of the bike. I would highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic purchase

This is a great, sturdy, exercise bike at a really good price. Noise is almost non-existent due to the magnetic wheel and the whole bike is incredibly stable. The adjustments possible will enable most people to find the most comfortable riding position. Adjustment is quick and easy for when more than one person use the bike.

The monitor had a minor fault (not registering Speed), but was replaced by Joroto ( I contacted them directly) within 48 hours. Excellent service!

16k flywheel was too heavy for me. It was not enjoyable at all.
I do not know if it is just me as I am not used to using indoors bicycles.
I thought maybe wrongly that the weight of the wheel would be similar to outdoor bikes but that was not the case as it was hard to turn the pedals because of the weight of the flywheel, and the more I was turning the pedals with my feet the more I could feel ‘the weight’ of the flywheel.
I never imagined the wheel would be so heavy and that as a result for me I would be hard to turn the pedals.
I had to return it and I got refunded without problem.

This bike is just what I wanted and ticks all the boxes for comfort and sturdiness etc.
I am in my 70s and find it easy to use. The only problem was the monitor which was difficult to read and ceased working when I inserted new batteries.
On contacting customer services they were brilliant and have solved the problem with a new monitor that works well.

The bike is easy to assemble and bike comes with all of the tools necessary. Once assembled, it is really sturdy and the adjustment range is good; the adjustment leavers are pretty neat and there is no need to be getting spanners or anything out if there are several family members who need different set-ups using the machine.
The bike is really quiet in action too.
I’ve so far found the support from very good and helpful as well.
Ultimately, I am very happy with this machine!

The bike is great build quality strong and comfortable and I feel I will get many years from it. Assembly is easy with only the handle bars seat and floor mounting stands needing mounting. The consul could do with being improved on, it is not in the same class as the bike and an upgraded unit would make this a more high end bike.

I recently purchased the Joroto X2 Pro indoor cycling bike, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. The adjustability of this bike is fantastic; the seat and handlebars can be easily adjusted to accommodate various user heights and preferences, ensuring a comfortable and personalized workout experience.

Assembly was a breeze; the instructions provided were clear, and all the necessary tools were included. I appreciate the thought put into making the assembly process user-friendly.

In terms of quality, the Joroto X2 Pro exceeds expectations. The frame is sturdy, providing stability during intense workouts. The flywheel operates smoothly, offering a consistent and quiet ride. The overall build feels durable and built to last.

One notable feature is the bike’s weight — it strikes a perfect balance. It’s substantial enough to provide stability during vigorous workouts but not overly cumbersome when I need to move it around. The transportation wheels also come in handy for easy relocation.

Overall, the Joroto X2 Pro is a top-notch indoor cycling bike that excels in adjustability, assembly ease, build quality, and weight, making it a great investment for anyone serious about their home fitness routine.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe X2PRO that I went for has blutooth (the X2 doesn’t). The X2PRO also has a slightly better display, a side bottle holder, different pedals (without reflectors) and a flat tablet holder. It will hold a phone in front of the display too if you don’t mind blocking it. The pedals are almost identicle to the EIRONA flat caged pedals on Amazon. The bike is almost silent and very solid. The display, although it looks much improved, still feels quite low quality and still no backlight as far as I can tell. It does the job though and keeps the price low. See below re using your phone instead.

    GARMIN, BLUETOOTH & SENSORS:
The bike’s bluetooth connected to my Garmin 255 Music instantly without fuss. Just go to Settings > Sensors & accessories > Add new on your watch while the bike display is active. Comes up as “Spd/Cad” followed by some numbers. Note that this causes the bike display to then only show resistance level and nothing else until the watch is disconnected. I get time, speed, distance, cadence and HR on my Garmin watch using the “F3b Dozen Cycle” data field (install in Connect IQ app, then setup on phone). When uploaded to Strava from my watch though I get:

    Time
    Distance
    Calories
    Speed graph
    Cadence graph
HR graph (from the watch, bike doesn’t record this)
plus the usual averages of these.

USING YOUR PHONE AS A DISPLAY, APPS & HR:
You can connect the bike to Kinoapp on your phone and use the Free Ride option to see live stats on your phone instead of the bike without paying anything. You can broadcast your HR from your garmin watch (hold up > Health & Wellness > Wrist HR) and add it as a HR sensor in Kinomap and view/record all stats together on your phone. This is a good solution to the cheap bike display.

Note that you can’t have your Garmin watch connected to the bike at the same time as it’s connected to Kinomap and you can’t get live output on your phone from the Garmin Connect app (although I see people have requested it). Allowing multiple bluetooth devices to get data from the bike would solve a lot. If you want your stats to be recorded on your Garmin watch while using your phone as a display, you have to add a manual activity form the Kinomap data. I find it’s better to keep looking at your watch for your stats output while exercising. Overall, though, I’m just happy to be able to connect the bike to my Garmin and upload to Strava at this price point, even if I have to keep looking at my watch for stats as it’s no different than outdoors cycling. For those interested, I couldn’t get the bike to connect directly to the Strava app at all.

    RESISTANCE & FLYWHEEL:
I’m average male height and run and cycle most days and find the flywheel weight and resistance more than adequate for a good workout. Resitance is changed by turning a screw knob which you also press to stop the flywheel. The resistence is very smooth and not lumpy. The resitance level readout has a wide range of error, i.e. you set it, press the flywheel stop button, and the number will change up to about 5 percentage points. I would therefore have preferred the manual X2 Resistance Gauge you can get aftermarket over the digital one, but I’m not sure it fits the X2Pro.

    PACKAGING:
It was well packaged and delivered in under 24 hours from ordering. My box had 2 bits of plywood and 2 steel pipe sections in it for reinforcement. Nothing was rattling around loose in the box. Although it can be moved on your own with a stuggle (I got it up 2 flights of stairs), I’d recommend an extra person to carry it to avoid injury or accidental damage.

Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. The problems stated above aren’t major and they’ve cut corners in the right places to keep the price low IMO. It does what I wanted it to do and it feels like it’ll last. Allowing multiple bluetooth devices to connect and receive data would be my main request.

Did some research prior to purchasing and although there were not many reviews for X2 Pro as it’s a newly released version of the X2 and went purley on those of the X2.

The bike arrived on the day I pre booked it and was in a well packed box which was easy to open and take out the bike for assembling.
The bike body is very well made and quite heavy, so you may need a 2nd person to help with lifting it out and placing on the 2 floor bars.

The instructions were quite easy to follow and I assembled it by myself in around 45 mins and had no problems at all.

We’ve been using the bike everyday since and loving it, the build is of a high quality and the bike itself is quite sturdy (I weigh 200 Lbs).
I’m looking into changing the pedals in the near future as they are (for me) a little awkward to put my feet into the strapping, but that probably me more than the bike and it does detract me from using the bike to its fullness.

I also connected the bike to the Kinomap appication via the onboard Bluetooth connection and have not had any connection issues with it and Kinomap. Kinomap picks the bike up instantly.

I have no hesitation in recommending this bike to anyone and it was money well spent and you really do get more for your money.

I like it, but for over 400 pounds could be much better. You don’t have any controls on the handlebar to take your heart rate. The monitor is hard to read if you are not very close and if you are in a semi-dark room (I am doing my exercise on nights) is almost impossible to read it. Also, the last two times I used it I heard some strange noises, I need to investigate this as I bought it only on 4 of September. A couple of small scratches and the writing on the bike is a very cheap sticker. I am sweating a lot and I need to clean the bike which makes me all the time feel that I will peel off the stickers.

I am using the Zwift app and the Watts when I am using it are different than when I am using Kinomap. I am very curious to know which is correct. Probably Kinomap as Zwift doesn’t know the bicycle and is working on the unknown device. Don’t get me wrong, is a good bike but could be better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still, place to improve

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOUT OF THE BOX FIRST IMPRESSION REVIEW

I have been researched budget spin bikes for some time now. I knew I wanted a good weight flywheel and magnetic resistance and a decent screen. I was torn between this and the JLLiC300 pro (JLL had a better price point and heaver flywheel) But the overall reviews from across the web pulled me to spend a bit more and get the Joroto.

Out of the box I am super impressed. It’s very easy to setup although I can see where people in reviews complained as the graphics could have been larger and separated by a few more steps for people who struggle to assemble. They have added extra careful instructions for the peddles so people do that assembly properly without stripping the screws. The instructions inside did differ slightly from one components but was quick to figure it out.All in all it took about 40 minutes to assemble (including getting it out of the box).

Build quality its very very nice. Everything feels sturdy (this is my first spin bike so I don’t have anything to compare it too). Standing and peddling I felt very little wobble, the tiniest I did feel was gave no concern. The pedding and flywheel is super smooth and the weight (although less than the JLLC) is perfect and super quiet! The magnetic resistance was worth it! The highest resistance level is tough enough that I didn’t even come close to needed it whilst breaking out a sweat in my first half hour session.

Overall I am very, very happy. But time will tear how this bike last through multiple sessions by multiple people. But as it stands it’s worth every penny.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersAfter checking out reviews and product specs on several spin bikes I made the decision to go with the Joroto X2. The Amazon delivery was excellent from order to front door took just two days. Assembly took less than one hour using the tools provided. The quality of the parts feels solid and when assembled looks the part. The seat which is well padded and the handlebars with 2 x cup holders and up to 10″ tablet bracket are fully adjustable and easy to set to individual rider requirements. The large gear knob is positioned in a good spot and is well made. The magnetic resistance magnet system and the large flywheel allows for very quiet use. Gear changes will take a little time to learn as there is no direct gear change mechanism just a threaded spindle style adjustment system that opens and closes the magnet bar. I’ve owned the bike for a month now and after an average of about ten hours hard spinning per week (40hrs in total) I have no complaints. Other features include a basic electronic on-board trip monitor giving time, speed, distance and calories burnt. There are also four adjustable feet and two transportation feet located on the ground supports.
I’ve added some additions including a Wahoo cadence (rpm) sensor which works well with it’s app. I’ve also replaced the standard pedals with a set of Joroto SPD 9/16″ Pedals purchased direct from Joroto. The standard SPD cleat brackets are adjustable using a 3mm allen key. These pedals also come with the shoe cage which I’ve left the cages on so family and friends can also make use of the bike with standard sports shoes. Please note, these pedals are at present unfortunately not yet available through Amazon UK but are available via Amazon USA) see the link below. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YR2HH4T).
Joroto’s support help desk was excellent with its email communication regarding the pedal purchase. I’ve started using them with a pair of bike shoes and they work well.
Oh I also added a floor mat and yes I’ve definitely started sweating a lot. No Pain No gain. If it hurts it works.
I would recommend the Joroto X2 Spin Bike to anyone with a 500 budget.

Update: I’ve now owned the X2 for four months and it’s time to add to my initial review. The bike is still performing well after many hours of hard exercise. I ended up changing the Joroto pedals to a set of Shimano PD-M520 as the Joroto pedals didn’t pass the longevity test. After speaking with Joroto, they reimbursed me for the pedals which was good of them.
Added another sensor. The moofit Speed sensor which has been fitted to the flywheel. You’ll find clips on YouTube to help with the setting up of this as the sensor requires some fine adjustment to get the speed computation correct.
I’d like to mention Joroto’s customer service. It’s been the best I’ve come across for a long time. I had an issue with the drive belt which was starting to show signs of damage due to the pinch roller being slightly out of alignment, I requested a replacement belt as the bike was still within warranty and Joroto’s support was second to none. I was happily and very surprised when they said they would be dispatching a replacement brand new bike and true to their word a new bike arrived within days. A big thank you to Joroto.

    Update 21.06.23
After two years of regular use this bike has proved to be worth every penny. No issues or faults.
