These drawing pads are perfect when you want to get your little ones away from the tablet/tv for a while and to utilise their creativity skills without causing a mess with crayons, pens, and paint.
There’s a slot cut out to easily store the pen. The board can be used anytime and can be cleared by pressing the button on the front. There is a switch along the bottom which can “lock” the screen so it’s not accidentally cleared in the process of doing a drawing.
Lovely bright colours and the plastic surface is strong and is easy to keep clean. It is very thin but still sturdy so it’s fine for kids of all ages to use.
It’s a decent size and made from quality plastic. It will get years of use so I’d say it’s worth it and it would probably make a good childrens gift.

I obtained this sketch pad more out of curiosity than need as my son is rather too old to be in its target demographic. However, in its own way, it’s been quite a fun item — letting people draw funny ‘doodles’ to each other and leave messages.

I have no doubt that a younger child would find it a great replacement for a stack of paper and coloured pens/pencils. Quite how well it would stand up to the abuses meted out by a younger child remain a question though there is no denying that the plastics the pad is made from are quite ‘cheap feeling’ and I could well see the pen being lost/broken quite easily.

However, the pad is also not that expensive and maybe those potential risks are offset by the lowered risk of ink being scribbed on walls/furniture/pets.

If you have younger children in your life — or if you just want a family message board. This is worth a punt.

My daughter loves to write out lists in our house – shopping, agendas etc. Rather than have 100s of pieces of paper go to waste, this tablet is perfect. The pen is ideal for small hands, and easy to write with – and the tablet itself is bright and viewable even when direct light is on it. It’s lightweight credentials can be confirmed, but I’m still unsure if this is a good or a bad thing – sometimes you need a bit of weight with writing products to give a bit of stability… but this is more of a personal preference than a comment on the product itself.
At a sub 10 price point, this is good value for money, and – of course – you save your house from the mess of paper to put in the bi

This is a genuinely handy little notes memo pad, family love using it.

It uses a little coin-cell battery and is just a basic touch capasitive pannel, its not fancy or backlit but works as intended with a basic erase button, cheep plastic frame but treat it well it and it should last.

At 8.48GBP price of ordering, this pays for its self pretty quickly compared to disposible sticky notes.

Seems to keep the grankids (aged 2 to 12) occupied to a greater or lesser degree when they come to visit.
I like it a lot and I’m particularly pleased that you can replace the battery when it runs down, but there are a few niggles that stop it from getting five stars.
    1. The waste paper basket picture has been printed upside down – doesn’t affect the functionality but irritates me every time I see it.
    2. The pen is a flattened shape which is not comfortable to use. I tried using the stylus from my laptop and tht worked perfectly, as well as feeling comfortable in the hand
    3. The pen has a loop at the end to enable you to tie a piece of string or something to it so you can attach it to the tablet to prevent the pen going AWOL, but no lariat/string is provided and anyway there’s no obvious place on the tablet to tie it to.
Still, it’s pretty good value for about 9 quid.

This slimline black portable drawing screen looks smart and more grown up than the animal shaped ones on the market. You can choose to erase your writing or picture or if you switch the switch on the rear, it prevents accidental erasure.
Ideal for older children who don’t need animals or bright colours to adorn their art doodles.

5.0 out of 5 stars More ‘grown up’ drawing scree

I love these drawing boards as my kids doodle on them all the time without making any mess with markers and paper. However, it’s a shame the pen is not attached because if the pen gets lost you need to find a replacement pen (which shouldnt be too hard) however, the pen does have a hole so it’s quite easy to attach a string or elastic to attach it to the board. The board itself is nice and big and looks fairly strong.
