Good repair kit! This has been ideal for repairing my chipped wooden floors and scratched table top. The easiest part is applying the wood putty, but colour matching takes time to perfect. Fortunately, there are plenty of colours here to mix and match. This set includes sandpaper, a sponge, brushes and some beeswax to finish off.
Good if the colours match We tried the KMEIVOL Laminate Floor Repair Kit crayons and touch up paint on small areas of our stairs (wooden) and a little bit of laminate but none of the colours directly matched. I think this is because they’re old and a certain light oak that just doesn’t match completely. That said, even not matching fully, this does look fine from a distance.
The items are easy to use and quite quick, there’s a different tool for each job which is good, the stairs worked better with a bit of filler and then, when dry, a bit of the marker to cover it.

The kit has various psints/crayons to help you colour match. There’s also some filler and wax. Having said all that I didn’t find it easy to get the correct colour match.
Useful se This is quite a big set with a lot of components enabling you to mix just the right colour to repair your floor. I think some skill is required in the colour mixing but the shades provided enable you to get quite a wide range of wood shades. A handy kit to have.

Good for a botched job This came up at a very handy time.
We’ve moving house and the rental that we are in and have lived in for 3 years has signs of wear.
So to enable us to get our deposit back, some botches are required on the wood work.
Essentially, the kit splits down to :-
Loads of different shades of brown marker pens.
Loads of different shades of brown crayons.
Loads of different shades of brown filler.
It was really easy to use, I built up the dent with the filler to the closest colour. Added a bit of crayon to blend it and botch done.
In the places where Varish has chipped away on the window sills as the kids have been climbing on them, The marker pens did a great job. it works well for at a glace repairs but look at it and you can tell where it is.
Whilst it isn’t perfect, I don’t see why we wont get our deposit back.

At the time of writing the set costs 25 which is about right considering everything that is included. That said, you’d probably only want this amount if you have a lot of surfaces to repair. It does work and does the job, provided you take your time, and overall is a good product that works as described.

This is a very comprehensive furniture restoring kit, which basically consists of 12 tubes of coloured resins, 8 shades of wood colour marker pens, 8 wax crayons, a jar of putty, a jar of beeswax, and an assortment of scrapers, sand-papers and small brushes to accomplish the task. It provides the material which will repair damage to furniture from scratches, gouges, dents, holes, scuffs, to general wear and tear.
The 12 tubes of resin contain 20 grams (=0.7 oz) each and can be mixed together to produce the exact shade of wood which matches the damaged furniture. Mixed together, they can potentially produce a 100 or more different shades and colours, one of which will closely match the colour you need. The marker pens and the wax crayons are designed to camouflage the damage rather than repair it. They also provide the finishing surface layer, so getting them to match closely is all important. You can apply one layer over another until you get it approximately right.
The repair kit will work on real wood furniture as well as on laminates and other artificial surfaces. It works on genuine exposed wood as well as on painted furniture, and other modern surface finishes. After applying the resin etc to the area of the damaged wood, you use the scraper to level it off flush. After it dries, you can then sand it smooth to achieve an invisible levelling. Finally the marker pens and wax crayons apply the final finish, which hopefully disguises the repair sufficiently for the casual observer not to notice. An application of a suitable furniture polish will help increase the invisibility.
The instructions in the pack are very minimal, so you will have to proceed mainly by trial and error. However, there is a video demonstration on the product web site which shows you how simple it all is. I used it to repair gouges, holes and dents in an old large oak table I have and it performed well not perfectly invisible, but quite close enough. It is a useful kit to have.

You get a wide range of shades and colours, filler, glues, pens and in addition to being able to immediately disguise small scratches and marks to laminate, it’s ideal for wood repair too.
You need to take a little time to read the instructions fully before embarking on a significant repair. You can blend fillers and the glue is tacky, so you need to work fairly quickly. But it really is a great kit for small restorations and much cheaper than buying an individual wood repair kit in a specific shade. I think it’s truly versatile and good value.
Lots of kit, didn't do much for my white table I’ve added a before and after photo…can’t really tell much difference.
I used the white filler and the white pen. Haven’t really done that much to mask the area.
Theres a lot going on in the kit. Pens, crayons, fillers, wax, sandpaper brushes and more. Everything you’d think would patch up a scratch. Am more hopeful for my pine chest of drawers. But for now my table will just have a table cloth back over it.

I ordered this kit to repair and touch up a few wooden pieces around my house including a cabinet, wooden door, flooring and table. I was able to find the correct shade matches for all of them within this kit. Everything was really simple to use. The markers work well to cover up stains, dents and scratches. The wood putty is also simple to use and I didn’t find any issue removing and smoothing off the excess with the scraper and supplied tools. Really happy with the results, will definitely come in handy for years to come!
Need to be able to mix colours to get a good match This repair kit is not just for laminate floor and could be used for any wood furniture. The quality of finish is going to depend a lot on the ability to blend colours to get a perfect match. Any large areas will still be visible unless you can replicate wood grain. The set has a lot of darker and lighter colours, any mid range like an oak will need colours to be blended. The set includes marker pens, the darker ones work ok on finer scratches but the white is too transparent to cover any marks. The instructions are quite limited, and cover just the basics. I wish they had more in the mid range, oak is quite a popular colour for both furniture and floors, but the oak included is too light so colours need mixing every time a repair is needed.
Better Instruction Would Help! You get quite a lot of stuff for your money, but some of it you may never need. The array of colours and mediums provided is impressive, but I found that it took quite a lot of mixing and matching to get it even marginally close to the one I needed. Really you need a lot of patience and time for this kit to be successful and better instructions in the pack would also be helpful. Additionally, there is only beeswax supplied to seal the finished result, which is not suitable for laminates and so I would be concerned about the longevity of the repair in high use areas – which also tend to be those that get the most damage. Couldn’t decide between 3 or 4 stars, went high as people more patient than I am would probably have more success.
Hardwood & Laminate Floor Maintenance Set! This is a really useful kit for touching up and repairing damage to hardwood and laminate floors. That doesn’t mean necessarily ‘invisible mending’ as you may still see a mark after the repair is done.
You do get a huge amount of choices with felt pens, wood fillers and wax crayons. These come in a large range of colours so the trick is to choose the right colour and the right method. A useful full colour instruction sheet is included but I would recommend looking up a few videos on YouTube to get a few tips from experts on how to make the best repair using this kit. The finished result will tend to rely on how well you use the kit. As a model maker in my youth I believe the results I have to be pretty good.
Overall, I would say this kit is essential in making a good job of repairing those little nicks and gouges that appear every now and again. I would have no hesitation in recommending this set to you.
The palette is important, but take time to learn how to use it well This has all that you need to repair and refurbish all sorts of woodworks, we are using it to repair some older doors and to do a little retouching on a grandfather clock case. Do spend some time reading the instructions and practice how to use the kit on a piece of wood that you are not invested in, this is a professional kit and it takes a little technique to get the best from it.
Before you use it on anything important do a patch test in an area that is not visible, we found this work best on slightly distressed wood where a perfect match was not essential and some mottling was not incongruous. I would be wary of using it on a polished table surface for instance without testing very carefully
But for older furniture and wood that is a little distressed by age it is ideal – you really will have everything you need here, other than getting some good wood polish for after you are finished to help blend everything together, that will help create a final surface that is very pleasing.
