So I’ve been thinking of getting a robot hoover for a while now, but husband was dead set against it. Well he’s singing a different tune now! He has now admitted it’s a brilliant little purchase and that it has made a huge difference to keeping the house clean and tidy!
We have a busy household with 2 teenagers and a dog, and live in the countryside. So the dog is always running in and out, we are bringing in logs for the fire, and walking in with shoes on. So I got this Hoover for the downstairs, which has hard flooring as well as a floor rug. This little machine tackles the rug with no problems (see video) as well as keeping the rug dog hair free! It cleans under the kitchen table, and under one of our sofas. (The other one is too low) Keeping all the dust bunny’s away. The mopping feature is really good – I like that I can put some cleaning product in the water tank. Personally I use Zaflora. Makes the house smell gorgeous.
The app that comes with the hoover works really well. You can adjust the cleaning or mopping setting, monitor when it last cleaned, and schedule cleanings. I even set it to clean when I’m out and about and come back to a lovely clean house!
Its scheduling feature and powerful suction is the main reasons for choosing this model, andI can confirm it picks up dirt and dog hairs easily not missing anything. Even in the corners by the fireplace!
I think this is a great Hoover for the price, and after having it for over a month can say it’s made a huge difference to our house. I run it once or twice a day, usually when we are out. It’s lovely coming home to a clean floor, and no dog hairs in sight.
Don’t overthink it. But this little guy and you won’t be disappointed.
Game changer!
Honestly haven’t stopped raving about this product! It’s made my life so much easier, owning a Labrador there’s always hair and dirt on the floor but since having this and having it set to clean twice a day, the floor is clean all the time! I still like to do a weekly deep clean but this has made my daily life so much easier as I no longer have to hoover 7 days a week! It was really easy to set up and the suction and ability to get all around the downstairs is great! The two side brushes really help it to pick up everything! The price was also great too. 10/10
Superb cleaning & value
I have had the Evol3 for around a week now and so far I am very happy with it. It vacs and mops really well and my floors are as clean as if done by hand. The scheduling option on the app is fantastic, to vac and mop daily, (needed due to messy dog and child), was a chore taking up so much time. Now im scheduling a clean everyday and we have a clean hair and mess free wood floor. The amount of dirt it picks up amazed me, couldnt even see the dog hair or tiny bits of dirt it easily gathers.
It is quieter than my Henry. Has adjustable settings for the strength of suction and the app is easy to setup and use. Only downside being that this version doesnt allow rooms to be saved on the app and scheduled individually.
You have to be realistic with the mop function, it isnt going to instantly wipe away large amounts of thick mud etc but it will maintain the floors cleanliness once you have cleared the thick dirt away.
Highly recommend this, great value and a great time saver.

I had trouble downloading the App (Im not very tech savvy) but now I have it, tbh I don’t use it. Nor do I use the remote control. I just press the start button on the machine and off it goes. If I want to clean upstairs, I carry the machine up the stairs, and again just press start and away it goes. The fact that it goes under my bed is incredible, and the amount of dust it collects, not just from under the bed, but all around the house is astonishing. I absolutely love the mopping feature. I can’t stand mopping, and this is a game changer. It runs up and down my boot room which is usually has lots of leaves and mud, and it cleans it really well. It says no cleaning fluids, but I do add a drop of Flash and everywhere smells so clean. So I can go out and do some gardening and come in and my floors are all sparkly clean! (Note: if there is dried on mud, it does struggle to remove this). However, I definitely wouldn’t be with out my Laresar now. Oh and the final thing, I have 1 cm high x 8 cm wide wooden thresholds between my rooms and the Laresar just scrambles over them with no trouble. Can definitely recommend it.
Great little Hoover!
This is a great product and very easy to set up. We have a dog that sheds a lot and Clean Dion (as she is affectionately called) is very efficient at picking his fur up. Because of this, she does need emptying after every operation but it is very easy to empty and clean. She was great at going under the bed.
I have only tried the mop function once and it’s not as good as mopping myself, but I would never expect it to be and it can only use water. I think it will be better in the summer when the floor only needs a light mopping.
The app is easy to use and has more features than the remote control such as allowing you to see how much charge is left which I find very handy.
She is also very good at finding her way back to base.
The after support is excellent and if you email them with any queries they do respond within 24 hours.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Wow! So glad I purchased my robot vacuum.
We just could not decide whether to purchase a robot vacuum. A friend of ours had bought one and he was really pleased with his. So the next question was which one. I read many different reviews and decided on the Laresar robot vacuum cleaner.
The robot was put through its paces over the last couple of days. My main reason for wanting one was the challenge of keeping my kitchen floor clean. Crumbs, dust, garden detritus does not camouflage easily on black tiles. So my robot’s first challenge was the kitchen floor. We followed another reviewer’s advice and put the kitchen chairs on the table to leave the floor as clear as possible. The robot was set to start cleaning at 2.30 in the morning. We went downstairs in the morning and the kitchen floor was spotless. Larry had completed his job perfectly. We have not used the mop setting yet, but will do very soon.
So yesterday I thought I would set him the next challenge which was the living room and the hall. He pottered around and nearly completed the task. Everywhere had been vacuumed. He had popped in an out of the furniture, under the settees, which my regular hoover cannot get under. However he missed one small part of the living room. He took himself back to his charging point and recharged. This was just the second time of using him, so we were unsure whether he had run out of battery or missed it out. After his recharge, we set him off again and mission accomplished. My whole ground floor of my house had been vacuumed whilst I was busy decorating upstairs.
The only set up challenge I had was connecting to the modem. A friend came round and had no problem sorting it. So once the wifi challenge had been sorted we were ready to go.
I would highly recommend the robot vacuum – Larry. Customer service have already contacted me informing me that my extended guarantee has been registered.
Powerful vacuum cleane
I used few times as it has just been delivered. I was impressed with the amount of dirt/dust/hair it cleaned after only 5min. The suction power is really strong and has around 5 levels, that you can choose.
You can control it with the controller or with the app, which is handy. You can even control it manually to tell it where to go, I found very helpful since atm I can’t bend my knees to catch it on the floor.
I recorded it getting close to the magnetic tape so you can see how it works.

I think the battery dies fast
It couldn’t locate the charger when I sent it from my bedroom which is about 8meter far from my living room.
The map function on the app is not ‘recognizing’ the room, rather is a function to track where it passed.(see screenshot)

A fantastic little hoover. Very quiet in operation. If you use the app there are lots of features like programming times to clean. It copes well with a range of floor coverings tile. Wood flooring, carpet and rug. It wanders around the home and the suction and brushes work very well.
At the end you send it home to charge and off it goes. It was extremely easy to set up out of the box.
Efficient Cleaning Companio
The Laresar Robot Vacuum Cleaner Evol 3 has proven to be a worthwhile investment for me. At a reasonable price, but exceeded my expectations. The operation is quite quiet, and its effectiveness in dust removal is commendable, ensuring a clean living space. Additionally, this robot vacuum works remarkably well on carpets, showcasing its versatility and making it a great choice for homes with various flooring types. The user-friendly mobile app adds a layer of convenience to the cleaning routine. But the remote cannot perform all functions as mobile app. Moreover, the after-sale service is nice as it offering 2 years warranty service and quick responses within 24 hours on working days.
Overall, so far I find the Laresar Evol 3 to be a great addition to my home, delivering on both performance and customer service.
I’ve only had it a week but so far, so good! You do need to download the app and have a play around with it before you start doing more complicated things like setting up schedules. I’ve found that it tends to do some areas repeatedly while leaving othe small spots unswept, especially if they’re are obstacles in the way. However, if you check what obstacles are in its path you can clear the room to get better coverage.
It can go under my sofas which is great!
I’ve tried it on carpet, tiles and parquet flooring and it’s vacuumed well on all of them. I’ve had it also mop the tiles. Good for a quick daily mop to keep the floors clean but it isn’t a steam mop so you’ll not get deep clean.
Emptying the waste and refilling the water tank are both very easy to do. I live in a very hard water area so am sticking to deionised water in the tank.
I have bought another one for my elderly father. He doesn’t want to use the app but I think he should be able to use it with just the remote control. It will be much easier than him lugging a vacuum around.
So far it’s working as I expected but I think that as I become more familiar with it, it’s going to be a real game changer in this household.
