These are fantastic, they are a heavy bamboo material that is luxurious and soft, they are great for baby baths…and washing my face too! They go through the washing machine well. Packaged nicely so good to gift for a baby shower too. Worth the money, recommended.
This was one of those purchases where my expectation was low, but when they arrived and are now in full use, they are brilliant.
Soft, very tactical touch – not a cheap feeling cloth, easy to wash and hold their quality feel. well priced mean, equality to good value for money to me. Too often is the temptation to buy cheaper, but then you get them and feel disappointed with the quality – not in this case. Very pleased.
Just love the feeling of these gorgeous washcloths – so incredibly smooth and soft.
I’m a big fan of bamboo fibre items because they feel so soft against your skin and these face/baby cloths are perfect.
The 5 cloths come in an attractive eco-friendly looking packaging and each cloth has a neat bow tied round it so could be given as a lovely gift.
But we are keeping these to use for ourselves and our grandchildren because they feel such good quality and are incredibly smooth/soft to the touch.
I was looking for bamboo flannels and was happy to find these.
They felt very soft straight out of the box, and are nicely presented with a little ribbon tied around each one. They would look lovely as a gift, although I ordered these for myself.
The label says “100% bamboo fibre, hand wash in warm water, do not bleach, do not pull threads, air dry”. However the box says “Machine wash in cold water before first use. Use mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. So I was a bit confused as to how these flannels should be washed and dried.
I decided I am not going to be handwashing flannels all the time (and if parents are buying these for their babies, I doubt they will have time for this either!) – so I took the risk. I washed a couple of these flannels with some other white towels in a quick low temperature wash, and then popped them in the tumble on a low heat.
I then compared them to the ones left in the box – they were still lovely and soft, however the washed flannels had shrunk about an inch in one direction only (top to bottom, assuming the label side is the top). The width is still the same. The photo shows 4 flannels all with the label edges aligned – the bottom two are brand new out of the box, the top two are the washed and dried ones.
Despite the shrinkage, they were still lovely and soft to use for washing my face. They seem to take around the same time to air dry as cotton flannels, however they don’t have any musty smell afterwards like some cotton flannels can do.
I will keep one of the flannels brand new for a while, as a size comparison for when I’ve washed the other flannels a few times. If it’s a one-off shrinkage, I can live with it as the shrunk size is still big enough for me to use, and they are lovely and soft – hence I’ve given 4 stars.
However if they continue shrinking in the next couple of washes then I will revise my review rating. Fingers crossed!
This six pack of Lil Cherubz BAMBOO WASHCLOTHS is a really lovely soft flannel for babies but could be used by any age.
The six wash cloths are presented nicely in the pack with a ribbon around each. This is unnecessary but it’s a nice way to show attention to detail. The washcloths are so soft and feel nice quality with the edging being finished nicely and the cloths being a decent thickness.
The washcloths are nice and absorbable and perfect for using as a flannel at the side of 10″ by 10″ which is plenty big enough for use by anyone.
I am very pleased with these washcloths and I think they are good value for money with how many you get in a pack. I’d definitely recommend them.
These flannels come in a nice box and each one has a nice little ribbon tied round them.
They felt soft and gentle on removal from the box.
Had to check they felt the same after a machine wash. On removal from the machine, I was a bit concerned as they didn’t feel as soft as they did when I put them in, but once dry they were back to being lovely and soft.
They did seem to take longer to dry than cotton flannels.
These flannels are nice and gentle on the skin, very absorbant and hopefully will have a good life span.
These are a lovely pack of six bamboo washcloths. Each cloth measures approximately 25cm by 25cm. They’re well-made and incredibly soft. I’ve been using one as a flannel to remove my face wash, and I’ve found it to be very gentle on my skin. It does say to hand wash the cloths, but I’ve machine washed them at 30 with no problems.
Reasonably priced for six reusable cloths.

I ordered these bamboo washcloths as a treat for myself; I love the natural softness of bamboo for my sensitive skin, and these do not disappoint.
The cloths come presentation boxed in cardboard with a plastic window (which is a bit unnecessary as the cloths do stay in place in the box), and each cloth is rolled and tied with a slim ribbon.
The knit of these washcloths is silky soft and they have the slinky weight of a good quality bamboo textile.
Each cloth is nicely hemmed and from measuring a couple the size is approximately 26-27cm square.
These cloths are of a softness that I will be happy to use these for my sensitive facial skin as the last of a 3 step makeup removal regime, and for eczema prone, dry skin these will make a gentle shower cloth.
I’m pleased to have received these cloths; the quality is excellent, and I’m thinking I have friends who would also appreciate these as a thoughtful gift.
At time of order the price is 9.99, which I think is fair for 6 cloths of nice quality. 5*
I ordered these bamboo washcloths to use as face towels. My 8 year old loves how soft they are – seriously they are super soft and very delicate on the skin. They are also just the right size to use as face towels. So far I am pleased with the quality (haven’t washed them yet). The set is also beautifully presented, with each washcloth rolled up and held in place with a delicate bow. It makes the set certainly giftable. Would 100% recommend.
I ordered a very similar item in December 20 and they are still going strong so I took advantage of being able to order this item too. I find these to be very similar in size and construction, even down to the bow on each cloth. The bamboo material is super soft which is suitable for removing make-up and washing repeatedly. These dry very quickly too. This particular product doesn’t come with a washcloth like my other purchase and each cloth works out at 1.66, but I would happily purchase again as they last so long and do the job well. Much better than disposable wipes!
These wash cloths are super soft, perfect for using for family bath time. Although they are marketed for babies, I am using these myself. I like to use a wash cloth rather than throw away wipes to remove my make up before going to bed and these are perfect for that. It’s a box of 6 so I can get through a week and throw them all in the wash at the weekend. The size of each cloth is 10×10″ and they can be washed at 40 degrees which is plenty hot enough to get rid of the make up.
This is a review for a set of six 10″ by 10″ bamboo washcloths/flannels.
The flannels come in a cardboard box with a plastic window (disappointing for a product promoted as eco-friendly). The barcode label peeled off without leaving a mark.
The cloths themselves are made in China and have a label stating they are 100% bamboo fibre. They are presented attractively in rolls, with each individual flannel being tied neatly with a white ribbon. This means that they look like something you could give as a new-baby gift but I suspect that the ribbons are not made from a natural fibre. The cloths are beautifully soft on arrival but I can’t yet say how they will hold up to repeated washing (I will try to update my review at a later date with this information). The material is a little thinner than cotton flannels I have used in the past but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. They are fairly well made though there are two different styles of edge-binding, giving a clue to the mass-production process. There are a few loose threads peeking out from the bound edges, but overall it feels like the sewers have done good and careful work.
The box states that the flannels should be machine washed in cold water before first use and then tumble dried. However, the actual labels say that the cloths should be handwashed in warm water (not very practical for parents with small children!) and then air dried. I will be machine washing these and would be very disappointed by a flannel that required handwashing.
If I was looking to purchase something similar in future, I would want a product that made a greater commitment to sustainability by ditching the plastic element of the packaging and the man-made fibre ribbons. I would also want something that could be easily thrown into a washing machine as required.
These bamboo wash clothes from Lil Cherubz are gorgeously, soft and silky. They look like traditional face flannels and are about the same size, but there is a slight lustre to the appearance and they are very very soft.
They are also beautifully presented in this pack of six, each one rolled and tied with a little ribbon, so they would also make a great present. They might need to be looked after with extra care (see the washing instructions in the photo), but all the same, I love them!
6 Pack of face cloths, I was hoping they would be more like muslin cloths but are more like thinner face flannels. They measure 25.4cm by 25.4cm and are made from 100% bamboo fibre making them more eco-friendly than other was cloths. You are getting six in a pack, so each one cost around 1.66 a cloth and each one come wrapped up with a ribbon around it which to me seems unnecessary. The do say hand wash only on the tag but I think they still be ok going in with the white on low heated wash.
I been using them to wash my cleanser of my face, they feel really soft and smooth against my skin and they do the job really well. Only downside they snag very easily causing a lot of loose threads to appear but it can be easily solved my cutting them off.
