I saw other runners wearing headlamps but I wanted an alternative so thought I would try this. I thought it might be heavy but its very lightweight and hardly feel it. It fits well and is adjustable. The light is at the front and you can set it to a steady light or flashing. Charges up via USB and comes with its own cable. Tested it on a run and happy with purchase and feel a bit safer running at night knowing cars will hopefully see me.

As Winter approaches and it gets darker outside, I thought I would try this product out, to see if it offered me with increased visibility and brightness when walking or excercising outside.

So far, I have been impressed with this product. The lights fitted are bright and offer good visibility, alongside the reflective material seeming to be good quality. Additionally, it is nice that the lights here last for a long time without charging, and when you do need to, can be connected via USB C, which is good to see.

Additionally, at 15.99 (at the time of review), I feel this product is priced pretty fairly, and offers good value for money overall. Therefore I can certainly recommend this product to anyone, looking to stay visible and safe outside!

Note: I use this harness when I walk my dog at night and to run at night; I also keep it in the car as it is a better solution than a visi-vest at night.

    What I like:
    – Easy to adjust and fit.
    – Light and does not impede movements.
    – Front and back LEDs, controlled separately.
    – Powerful front LEDs to light the path ahead.
    – Multiple light settings.
    – Easy and quick to charge.
    – Keeps its charge as expected.
    – Reflective material for added visibility.
    – The reflective arm bands.
    – Light weight.

    What I miss:
    – Much tighter rubber closures for the battery ports, to ensure that no water can get into them.
    – A pocket on the harness (at least for my house or car keys), because some of my running gear doesn’t always have pockets.
    – A solution to change the batteries in case they malfunction (if it exists, I have missed it).

    What I wonder:
    – I haven’t tried it in the rain and wonder if it is waterproof, including the charging ports.
    – The plastic clips feel OK, but are they sturdy enough.

    Pros:
1- This is an excellent high-visibility (Hi-Vis) belt. One of its best features is the adjustable size, which is easy to modify and very flexible. I usually wear XL shirts and have a waist size over 42 inches. This belt fit me without any issues and even had additional room. It also comfortably fitted my wife, who wears a way smaller size.
2- The Hi-Vis part is truly visible. There is no doubt that you will be seen in dark environments. I tested myself by pointing a flashlight at it. It was very clear. Therefore, this belt is ideal for running, cycling, hiking, or even dog walking. You can also keep it in your car for safety purposes.
3- The armbands are a good addition. If you prefer not to wear the belt/ vest, the armband is an excellent alternative. Personally, I’ve stored one of the armbands in my car, just in case.

    Cons:
1- I was not impressed with the LED lights. They are small and their brightness level is somewhat weak. I would have preferred a single, larger LED with higher brightness that could be used as a flashlight or for similar purposes. This would be a better option in addition to the smaller LED lights. I would not recommend relying only on these small LED lights in very dark or foggy conditions. However, the back red LED lights are okay since they are meant to serve as warning lights rather than for illumination.

As the nights draw in it is essential for any runner to be clearly seen at night. It’s so easy to become invisible running on night roads. This solves that problem by not only providing the standard 3M retroreflective stripes but also having front and rear LED lights built in that can either be on solid or flashing. This is easily visible 1/2 a mile if not more away. They recharge via a USB C socket, one each for front and back but a full charge will easily last a good few hours which is sufficient for even the most dedicated long distance runner at night. The final point is the adjustability – this is really well adjustable; it goes from fitting my 13 year old son to fitting myself (significantly larger) in a second of adjustment. Certainly with both front and back built in lights it is worth the price.

I’m really impressed with this vest. I opted for the fluorescent pink colour which adds vibrant and ensures visibility. It has reflective material 360 degrees around the vest, which makes it very easy to be seen from all angles.

The standout feature of this vest is the lights which are fitted to the front and back of the vest. They are designed to make you stand out in low light conditions, making you visible to other pedestrians whilst out running. The lights at the front emit a bright white light, while the lights on the rear are red. There are three modes for the lights; quick flashing, slow flashing and steady. These different modes allow you to adjust the light to the conditions; especially useful if running or cycling along roads.

The lights are charged via a USB C charging cable, which is included. A charge lasts approximately 7-10 hours. I was pleased to find that these lights already had some charge when the vest arrived, meaning we didn’t have to wait for a charge before using the vest.

The straps are made of a stretchy material which is adjustable around the waist and shoulders, providing a more comfortable fit. I found the stitching on the vest to be good and the materials used seem to be of good quality too.

The instructions were clear, and guidance was included on how to fit the vest correctly.

This vest is a great; it exceeded my expectations with its striking colour and impressive visibility features. I think this is a comfortable and safe choice for runners, cyclists, dog walkers, or anyone who ventures outside and wants to be seen at night time.

It stopped working after one day… I charged it overnight and now the front lights will only work when plugged in to the USB charging cable. Maybe the battery or button is defective? However, the supplier was excellent and immediately sent a replacement.

Assuming that this was just a bad one then let’s have a look at it. My first thoughts are that the light sections seem a bit thin and flimsy, but I think that is just the waterproof covering, the back side of the sections is made of the same strong, stretchy material as the straps.

The straps are strong and very stretchy, and highly reflective. They have adjusting buckles so that one size fits all. I am not huge but do have a bit of a belly; at maximum this fits me okay but wouldn’t go any bigger. I guess fat people aren’t likely to be out jogging or cycling though! It fits my ten-year-old boy when adjusted down.

The LEDS are very bright and have fast flash/slow flash/on solid settings. Red on the back and white on the front.

It comes with a “Y” charging cable (USB A male to two USB C males) and two unidentified fluorescent bands! I thought they were shin or wrist bands but the velcro sections won’t meet on something that small. So, I think they are for the top part of your arm. Wrist or shin bands would perhaps have been more useful.

The whole thing seems well stitched and sturdy and I think it does the job.
