Ordered these needing a lighter pair of gloves for summer time and I wasn’t disappointed. These have great knuckle protection and soft thumb and first finger pads for using sat nav’s or smartphone.
Though I’ve not tested the palm protection could be seen as a little lacking if sliding down the road, but great grip with silicone pads.
Sizing guide is a little difficult to follow so ended up guessing. I know I’m a medium size hand normally but I thought I’d be better going Large. And I was right. They are a nice snug fit with a good length around the wrist area. (I find many short gloves are too short, but these have a good wrist length)
An excellent pair of summer gloves. The materials are soft, breathable, elastic and resistant. I went for a ride after getting them delivered in the evening and they’re super comfortable.
The knuckle and finger protectors feel solid but light and the strap gets them closed properly without any movement.
Overall a fantastic pair of gloves that get you a lot of value for your money, without compromising on comfort or safety.
The gloves are great, however some information for anyone interested.
These are NOT cold weather gloves, tried them for journey to work today at 5am, fingers were numb after 20 mins, fine on way home in warmer afternoon sun though.
Sizing info – after reading reviews I ordered a pair of XL, these fit fine although my hands are probably classed as medium to large. Hand circumference is around 23cm & hand length around 20cm, hope this helps
Firstly I received this product for free to review from Maximo Moto – having used other gloves of theirs I was excited to try some new ones. The gloves are well put together and have great protection for the knuckles when riding. They are soft and flexible. I found the L size a little on the tight side but with some stretching they should be okay, I normally wear an XL in gloves but the L did okay.
Whilst it’s just coming into spring here the gloves didn’t perform the best when it’s still coldish outside. I found my fingers getting cold and numb very quickly but in warmer months I think these will be great at keeping hands cool whilst riding.
As for the protection on them, knuckle wise very good but this is only plastic so does bend quite easy, the gloves are quite short so not much protection over the wrists but for a casual rider or someone doing MX these would fit the bill perfectly.
Overall a pretty good glove, some enhancements could be made to the protection on them and possibly some warmer material on the inside for the spring/autumn months would be good.
If you are budget conscious and looking for some good gloves to get you through the summer I’d definitely recommend these for using.
I recently purchased this pair of motorbike gloves from Maximo Moto as I was extremely impressed with my summer jacket and protective jeans I bought earlier in the year, and I must say I am thoroughly impressed. The gloves are not only stylish but also provide excellent protection and comfort during rides. The material feels durable, and the fit is just perfect. I particularly appreciate the added padding on the knuckles, providing extra protection without compromising flexibility. Being able to use touch screen with the gloves on is another great addition. These gloves have definitely enhanced my riding experience, and I highly recommend them to any motorbike enthusiast looking for quality gear.
Good all round gloves, would suit spring to Autumn more than winter.
Definitely size up. I was recommended the XS but from another review I needed XL which I bought and they’re the right size as my middle finger fits to the edge but comfortably. Approx 20cm Tip to wrist is what my hand is so if around 20-21cm I’d go for XL

Following an earlier review, I ordered a size up and it fit perfectly. They feel nice on bare hands, not scratchy or odd, and seem quite secure. In the current weather, I wouldn’t wear them out, far too cold, but I can very easily imagine wearing them with no problems at all in summer or even a warm spring day. The touch screen fingertips works as described.
Overall, these gloves seem to be everything they are sold to be.
I ordered the XXL size, I normally wear XL size gloves and these were still a snug fit. They look a decent quality and time will tell how long they will last. They feature knuckle protectors and what I also like is they also have a touch responsive layer on the index fingers so you can use your phone without removing your gloves, smart.
The inside grip is nice, no sliding on the handlebars and no real restriction of the hand movement.
I’ve bought gloves in the past, several times the price and not as comfortable. If these last a few years, then they’ll still be a bargain.
Not at all bad these. Very much a summer glove though, no real insulation at all but of course that’s not what these are about. The knuckle protection seems good and they fit rather well. They also seem to be pretty well made, I’ve had more expensive gloves that were much more cheaply put together. Recommended!
Good quality gloves, they do come up a bit small compared to the measuring chart so I personally would’ve ordered a size up and feel a small would’ve fit better but XS still fit just don’t leave me much comfortable room.
They’re warm and feel like they’ll last a while though. Overall happy
These gloves are great, they are quite thick which means they are perfect for the winter as your hands are not going to get cold. I also like the fact that if I come off the bike I don’t have to worry that these are going to rip and hurt my hands. I would recommend these.
Great quality gloves, that i have used for biking. They material is great quality, although they are not thick gloves so probably wouldn’t provide much thermal insulation.
Fit seems to be the same as what i have had for other gloves.
Do like the added touch sensitive index finger for when using the phone.
I’ve just taken my vintage, 1974 Suzuki GT250L, out for a quick spin to test these MAXIMO-MOTO men’s motorcycling gloves. I rode into town and back, which is only about 8 miles in total, and my hands, although cold, were not painfully cold, so for a cool, damp, miserable, late November day, I would call that a pass. I’m not too sure how good they’d perform in the very cold winter months, as they have little or no thermal insulation as far as I can tell. However, for Spring, Summer and early Autumn use, where you mostly need a less bulky glove, they are spot on.
In my opinion, they are quite a tight fitting style of glove, so I personally would recommend ordering at least one size larger than you think you need, to allow your fingers a little wiggle room.
Very nice motorcycling gloves at this price-point. Happy to recommend.
This is a pair of XL MAXIMO-MOTO Motorcycle Gloves.
These gloves are made of polyester and fit my hands perfectly. I have chosen XL previously with Mechanix gloves and these are exactly the same fit.
Both gloves have many features from the Velcro adjustable wrist strap to the tactile palm and finger surface that will add extra grip.
The one key area for me that really make these gloves stand out is the shock-absorbing knuckle guard on the top of the gloves that give that extra reassurance of protection if you come off your bike.
These gloves are very comfortable to wear and look and feel brilliant. They do not appear to have any extra lining for warmth so maybe more suitable for milder weather although the description does mention they are waterproof so I would imagine would be ideal for inclement weather as well.
Looking at the construction of the gloves there were no stitching issues and they feel premium.
Overall I really recommend these gloves and I will be wearing them when I am out mountain biking.
