Smart watch Connects quickly with iPhone
Good quality light weight smart watch. Very easy to connect to phone. Battery life is good depend on usage i bought it for my son and it last for him for 2-3 days. Steps counts and other activity features are great. It was a good gift for my son he is happy with it.
Great smart watch for kids
I have to say, for the price, I’m really impressed by this watch. It does most of the stuff you’d get from a Fitbit Versa or Apple Watch for 1/10 the price.
My 8-y-o son is delighted with this. He wanted a watch with a heart rate monitor, but this has that and all of the exercise, steps, calorie burn etc. functionality you’d expect of a much fancier smart watch. Is it as accurate? Impossible to say (and probably not due to no GPS built in), but it doesn’t really matter, he loves monitoring his progress, setting himself goals, and that’s what matters.
It comes with a handful of watch faces built in, but with the app there’s a massive amount of faces you can choose from, both digital and analogue-style, with and without other metrics shown on the main screen.
It seems pretty easy to use, my son worked it all out for himself pretty quickly just by fiddling and exploring, so no need to pore through the instruction leaflet (which is pretty short, clearly auto-translated but still easily read).
Does the battery last the 5/7 days claimed? We’ll see. Is it durable? Again, we’ll see, he’s only had it 24 hours so far. But it is apparently waterproof, which is a definite improvement on the Tikkers watch/activity monitor his brother drowned in the bath last month…
Only a couple of down sides:
– It doesn’t make any sound, so the alarm is vibrate only. The vibrate seems strong enough, but it would be nice to have the option of sound too.
– Alarms have to be set up using the App. Once set up, they can be turned on/off on the watch, but it seems odd that you cannot create a new alarm directly on the watch.
– There are a number of features where the watch can control a linked ‘phone: music control, camera control, Find My Phone. Since my son is too young to have his own ‘phone, I’ve linked it to mine, but now he can control my ‘phone when he’s within Bluetooth range. It would be good to be able to turn off these features via the App! At least you CAN turn off notifications, so he doesn’t get buzzed every time I get a WhatsApp.
– I don’t believe the Sleep results, for last night it claimed he didn’t get to sleep until 11:40pm, about 3 hours after he was definitely already asleep (I checked!). But it’s only been one night so far, so it may get better.
Engaging and Durable Smartwatch for Kids!
It’s loaded with fun features like customizable wallpapers and music control, keeping my kid engaged. The fitness tracking with various sports modes is a nice touch, encouraging physical activity. The heart rate and sleep monitoring are interesting, though more for general reference. Its waterproof nature is practical for everyday use, including swimming. The watch functions well independently, but connecting to the app expands its capabilities. Battery life is quite good, lasting about a week. While it’s not as precise as adult smartwatches in tracking health data, it’s perfect for introducing kids to wearable tech. A solid choice for a child’s first smartwatch.
Stylish watch
I got it as I bought a new purple dress. It came nicely packaged. It is very stylish and matches my dress well.
Furthermore, it has a health tracker as well, which is a cherry on top. It has a vibrant, subtle colour. It fits rightly on my wrist.
Would recommend
A great first smart watch
I got this for my little boy and he is loving it! It has a silicone watch strap which is pratical and comfortable. I have to fasten it on to the tightest setting (he is 7 yrs old) and he is slim however I think given that it is for children maybe another 1 or 2 holes on the strap wouldn’t go amiss.
This aside the watch is fun and has lots of feaqtures for him to explore. We got another one for his twin brother and they love comparing who has done the most steps at the end of the day. It also got a digital display 12 or 24 hour clock so I set it to 12 hour for ease, and it’s then handy to give them a set time as to when they need to do something by (eg how long til we need to leave for school, what time tea is, how long they can play out, etc)
Great battery life length too. Very happy!
Another smart watch for my kid
It’s not just a stylish accessory, it’s actually motivating my daughters to get moving instead of glued to the couch.
High Fives for:
Marathon Battery: This thing stays juiced for days! No more scrambling for the charger every night.
Comfy as a Cloud: Soft and hypoallergenic, it feels great against her skin. No more smartwatch tan lines!
Set-up Snap: Easy as pie, even for a tech-challenged parent like me.
Value Packed: We snagged it at a great price, making it a win-win for both our budget and her health.
Room for Improvement:
Pixel Peek: The screen resolution could be a bit sharper. Some icons and text get a little blurry.
App Alert: The companion app could use some security beefing up. We’ll be keeping a close eye on privacy settings.
Overall, this smartwatch is a winner! It’s stylish, functional, and (most importantly) inspiring my daughter to embrace an active lifestyle. If you’re looking for a smartwatch that’s more than just a gadget, this one’s worth checking out.
Bonus Tip: Pair the smartwatch with fun fitness challenges or apps to keep the motivation going!
Fun watch for kids
I got this watch for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas. I spent a few days testing it out before I give it to him. The features are great I love that he can track steps as well as specific exercise activities. The games seem better than other watches I’ve seen in the past. The sleep tracking feature is awesome. It’s super easy to pair with the app. The watch hold a charge for quite a few days and charges up quickly. Although kids don’t need to access the app all info is in the watch but good for parents to keep track on their phones. Seems to be pretty durable. I wish kids watches were a bit slimmer I have small wrists and it bothered me a little while wearing.
A hit with a 5 year old
L is rising 6. Her sister got one of these a year ago and she’s really, really wanted one ever since. That her sister is 2 years older doesn’t matter – it’s the fairness of it all that matters – her sister has one, so she should have one. When you’re 5 things can be very straightforward.
I asked her the same questions I’d asked her sister when she got hers:
How did you feel when you opened the box? Really excited
How easy was it to set up and get working? Daddy did it
Do you like what it does? Yes and I know what it does because of playing with P’s (her sister)
Is it easy to use? Yes because I’ve used P’s sometimes
Do you wish it had other things to do on it? No
Her mum says:
It’s good there are no games, and it’s a good way for her to learn about time – she’s set an alarm for getting up for school – not that she gets up, but it’s a start! It was easy to set up and she’s very happy with it, as are we – no more sulking over how it “isn’t fair” her sister has one
From Screen Time to Step Time
This kid’s Smartwatch is a mini marvel for active families! It’s a fitness tracker, sleep monitor, and communication hub in one, keeping kids engaged with sports modes, tracking health with heart rate and sleep insights, and offering app-connected features like call/SMS reminders. Waterproof and with a week-long battery, it’s built for adventure, but consider the age range and app dependence before embarking on this techy journey. Overall, it’s great for motivating little ones to ditch the screen and embrace an active lifestyle!
fun and educational
The smartwatch features colourful designs and engaging activities that will keep kids entertained while learning about time, numbers, and the alphabet. It includes a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and pedometer to promote healthy habits and encourage physical activity. The smartwatch is waterproof, making it ideal for everyday wear and tear, even during bath time or playtime in the pool. The smartwatch seamlessly connects to both Android and iPhone devices, allows kids to stay connected with their friends and family. My daughter loves this smartwatch.
Good produc
Would definitely recommend this product to everyone I see, it is a beautiful shade of lavender, and the packaging is perfectly top quality too. The instructions are very easy to understand and follow, and the batter lasts a lot longer than expected too.
Smart and fun watch to educate kids to stay active
I ordered this smart watch for my little niece and she loved it! She’s feeling more motivated to stay active because it’s a playful way to educate children to stay active and sleep well. I ordered the pink color and she loved it.
The good thing is that it can be used without app or phone so, it’s good even for younger kids that don’t have phone and they can play and pause music with a tap when it’s paired with their phone. It’s very good for example as a timer or heart rate monitor.
We tested it in the water and it’s waterproof, ideal for swimming. The battery life is good and the screen is good size and easy to read. It’s not difficult to set up and the strap is adjustable and it’s comfortable to wear. Overall, it’s a good watch and I’m happy to recommend i
Reasonably good smart watch
Got this for my young son, who really wants a smart watch. However, his parents didn’t want to give him a really expensive one.
This one offers a few activity tracking features (steps, swimming, heart rate) alongside the time and an alarm.
The app that accompanies the watch is ok, but could be easier to use. You can use it to alter the background on the face.
The strap is a nice green colour and the watch feels well made. Holds charge for five days.
Well designed smartwatch for childre
This is a cute and well made smartwatch for children which is waterproof and comfortable to wear. There are some brilliant functions which don’t need pairing with your phone to work, like activity tracker, heart monitor, customizing wallpaper etc. When you download the app there are many more functions which makes the watch very interactive and fun for children, such as use of the camera, music, calls reminder etc. So far the battery has been pretty good too. My son charges it after about 4 days. The screen is good size, with bright and clear resolution. It looks cool and stylish and would be perfect as a present.
Pink Kids Smart Watch
This kids smart watch comes in a small box that displays the watch nicely it also stores everything you been like the charger cable.
The watch strap is a light pink colour and the size is perfect for little wrists. The size can be adjusted too. The straps are made out of a silicone material so they are comfortable to wear and still quite durable.
The watch has a sensor on the back that helps to keep track and monitor levels like heart rate. It’s a great way to keep track of little ones and there wellbeing whilst playing and running around.
Easy to setup, app installation can be used without creating an accou
This is an excellent starter smart watch for younger family members with a number of features and functions designed to keep them active.
It has a built is pedometer, plus sleep tracking, heart rate monitor, plus activity trackers so you can select the right activity to track (running, walking, swimming (yes, its waterproof at an IP68 rating), football etc).
The watch also tracks the calories burned, distance travelled etc, in fact the same as smart watches far more expensive.
What is impressive is that you can use this watch without installing the app, which will give you basic functions (time/date, activity tracking, heart rate and sleep tracking, stopwatch and timer) but to have far more control and functionality you should instal the app which offers far more features. You can also change the watch faces in app to ones that are better suited to you.
Control of the watch is via the button on the side, and also swiping the screen to access the various options (pedometer, notifications, settings etc).
Overall, this is a great functioning smart watch for younger family members with a host of features and functions that tracks well, and is a great price.

With its impressive features and kid-friendly design, this smartwatch has become an essential companion in our child’s daily adventures.
A basic smart watch with basic functions and customisatio
The phone was paired with an Android phone. I can’t comment on functionality with Apple devices.
Pairing up was easy. I scanned a barcode in the manual to take me to the correct app. Installed, created an account and the watch was found and connected quickly. The watch has all the basic functions of a smart watch, i.e. heart rate, pedometer and sleep monitor. The first 2 are fairly accurate, but the sleep monitor is more of an educated estimate.
There is some customisation that you can do such as changing faces or installing your own from the gallery. You can’t answer calls on the watch, but you can mute the phone when ringing or reject the call. Text messages and WhatsApp messages are displayed, but you can’t reply using the watch. I can’t say if this is the same for other apps as I no longer keep social media apps, but I did note that there were options for these in the app.
I have used a Galaxy watch in the past and this is not in the same league, but this is reflected in the price. If you just want an extension to your phone so you can decide if you need to get it out of your pocket and you only need basic health statistics, then this would be OK for you. If you are looking for more advanced options like responding to messages, answering calls through this and a full range of health information, then you are going to need to dig deeper in your pockets and look at something in the branded range.
I like smart watches that use H band, I find it a really good app. So I was pleased this watch uses it.
I was disappointed that you could not add this watch to your existing h band app, I felt because this was a child’s watch this would have been a useful feature. So they could add it to their parents account.
I love the fact that you can swim wearing it, as other smart watches advice against swimming while wearing them.
This has the Pedometer, heart rate and sleep monitoring, which is less features than my other health watch.
The fact that you can add photos to the dial face is brilliant.
It tells you when you have a phone call, but as far as I can work out, your options are to hang up or mute the call, I can’t find how you would answer it, but maybe this is because it is a kids phone.
The straps is strong and long enough for a adults wrist.
I think this is a great bit of kit to encourage healthy habits.
It is good quality, and not easy but easy enough to work out how to set up. Took me 30 minutes.
The dial faces are great for children, the watch face is a good size.
I will update my review if anything useful crops up to add after I have used it for a while.
Nice kids watch
This is a really nice kids device from a brand I’m not familiar with. It has lots of functions, including a heart rate monitor, pedometer and sleep tracker. The heart rate monitor gets very similar readings to a blood pressure monitor (that also measures heart rate), which is quite impressive.
My biggest gripe is that you need to use an app on another device to use/configure a lot of the functions.
This is a really crowded space, but at 37 (at time of review) I’d say it’s a good buy.
It's ok, but...
… why does it need some random app that no one has ever heard of?
Not sure I’d trust it on a phone where e.g. banking apps are installed but for the price, it’s a decent enough watch for a kid to have without worrying it’s too expensive.
Looks and feels well put together and well polished and easy enough to use.
More complex than I'm anticipated but will be great fun!
Although the product description says this will work without connecting via an app on your phone, it works so much better if you do so. For younger ones who maybe don’t have a phone, there’s nothing to stop you as the parent installing on your phone and managing from there.
It had a lot more options than I ever imagined it would and can see it would be great especially for a youngster whose parent already has a tracking watching because then they could see how they’re doing and have a bit of healthy competition.
Quality multifunctional smartwatch!
This multifunctional smart watch has several different functions and features. It arrives well packaged in a cardboard box and looks and feels like good quality upon first glance. Marketed as a kids watch (though both kids and adults could enjoy this), it’s extremely user friendly and not too fiddly or complicated like some others. It charges quickly and easily for convenience, and it’s also waterproof which is particularly good for kids. This is a brilliant sports watch to track any and all physical activity, supporting and encouraging kids in their fitness journey and goals. Overall it’s a very good basic smart watch that tracks your fitness and physical activity easily and accurately. Well worth it!
Good quality young person’s smartwatch.
The watch is well made and comes in a navy colour. The body of the watch is made of a quality plastic that doesn’t feel flimsy in anyway. For a younger persons watch it’s substantial enough in my opinion. To use the watch you have to download an app from your respective App Store and as per the manual it will work with Apple or Android phones. You will also be prompted to create a login to use the app. It communicates with the phone via Bluetooth through the app not as I direst connection so use of the app is required. The watch has the standard suite of monitoring I.e. heart rate, sleep monitor, pedometer and workout and once you are connected to the watch via the app you can personalise the watch, for one you can change the watch face to your own picture or photo from your gallery. All in all I think this is a good purchase and would recommend it at the current price point.
Kid's Smartwatch with Surprising Features
I recently got this kids’ smartwatch from a lesser-known brand, and I must say it offers basic functions at a reasonable price point. What pleasantly surprised me was the accuracy of the heart rate monitoring, which is on par with my Huawei smartwatch.
The activity tracking functions work just as advertised. Although it works straight out of the box, I highly recommend downloading the accompanying app for access to more features like watch faces, setting the time and date, alarms, music control, phone calls, and more.
Charging the watch is a breeze with the included power cable, which has magnets to keep it securely attached during charging.
This smartwatch makes for an amazing gift for kids, introducing them to technology and encouraging them to stay active and monitor their activities. While it may not be the highest quality, considering its affordable price, I still wholeheartedly recommend it as a great gift option.
Lovely watch, not just for childre
This is a perfect smart watch for a child or an adult, it comes in a lovely box making it ideal for a present. You get the watch, a charging lead and some thorough instructions, and a QR code takes you to a very easy to use app.
The watch has a ton of features including sleep monitor, fitness trackers, it picks up emails and whatsapp messages and is even able to take simple photos.
I was expecting a very basic watch when I ordered it, but to be honest it’s far from basic and is in fact a very impressive watch
Very nice smart watch
Very good kids smart watch. Perfect size for kids wrist. In my video you can compare it with adult size smart watch and so some quick functions brief. You can use it without installing an app which is great feature. Battery hold pretty decent. Lot of various functions available from the watch level. Very good value for money. Definitely worth to buy.
Encourages exercise
This watch has many positive features.
Clear screen, the onscreen touch menu is intuitive to use. Quick learning curve.
Most importantly its instantly fun.
Has many of the features that an expensive smart watch would have monitoring your sleep, workouts, and heart rate; in fact it would be useful for an adult if it only had built in GPS.
Has the potential to get that couch potato out away from the games console to exercise in order to use the variety of activities it tracks one by one not just for a sporty boy but also one who isnt too fit, but might engage in solo acticities such as walking and running.
I think there might be issues with the app and connecting to an Android 11 phone in particular, but a lot of fun can be gained from the watch without using the app. For a teen however, I would recommend a more expensive watch.
Quite functional, but really does need the app - Mgaolo Kids Smart Watch
I got this as the product says you don’t need an app to use it, which is technically true as you can get it working by using the on screen menus and setups etc… but if you want to alter other stuff in it, like screens and other settings, you do need to use the app and pair if with your phone. I got this in the hope of not needing an app to use it, but there’s quite a lot you can’t do without it.
That aside, the watch itself is quite good really. Screen is clear and also it’s quite simple to use. Click the single button then the touchscreen is quite intuitive to operate.
Has the basic stuff most would want from a smart watch, and it includes a step counter and heart rate readout too.
Takes about an hour for full charge and it reckons you probably get about a week’s use? Can’t verify that at this early stage, but it looks good so far.
So for me it’s quite a neat thing, but sadly I can’t get out of it what I wanted as it wants that app on a phone to operate stuff in it.
