Just what I needed!
Bought this to keep my 1 year old out of the kitchen when I’m cooking as we have an open plan living/kitchen area with an extra wide archway… Really easy to install and use and baby can still see me too which is a bonus as the material is strong but slightly see through… Would definitely recommend
Easy to fit. Works well.
Fits across a very wide corridor and is very stable over this length when locked in place. Easy to unclip from fixings and store when not required, although it fits fairly flush to the wall when rolled up anyway.
Had a problem with the top clip on the roller blind part breaking off, but the seller replaced the item without any hassle and the new one has given no problems.
The bottom of my stairs is on an angle and I have never been able to find a baby gate suitable for it, that was until I came across this. It’s very easy to set up but comes with handy step by step instructions if you’re struggling. It feels sturdy once up but I wouldn’t recommend putting it at the top of your stairs or somewhere unsafe like that as I don’t think it will be able to support much weight.
Not quick to install
You need a little patience and know exactly where you are going to screw into the wall or door stencil. I don’t know why i thought this would just be a tension rod effect, but it isn’t. Which is good as it is very sturdy and feels safe when touched by a child or pet. This is why it is still 5 stars overall. Just take your time and maybe drill pilot holes to help the screws if you cant use wall plugs.
