I like the bumpy underside of this blanket, it has a nice feel and doesn’t irritate through clothes. Smooth underside version is probably just as nice.
Bought as a gift but I did try it myself, and it gets warm but not too warm. Soft, and the heating elements don’t stick out much.
It’s doesn’t heat up very fast but it’s good enough because the blanket by itself is already cosy.
It’s also pretty big, so I expect it fits most beds. Definitely recommend, gift well received.
usually only needs a quick blast to heat up but it’s uneven at the start. nothing you can do with it being an electric blanket. after 10 mins it’s cozy as anything and really keeps you warm.
I love this blanket, it’s definately only big enough for one person (and a cat). I had it on level 1 during the coldest bit of winter so I didn’t have to turn my heating up past 14 (i’m not stingy i just get too hot). This was perfect for getting the bed warm enough to fall asleep and auto turned off so I didn’t have to get up and do it as I put the cable at the foot of the bed rather than strangle myself with it.
I used it as the top of 3 thin layers and it was perfect. My mum used level 2 and said it was very toasty, I’ll take her word for it, cos I was sweating under level 1 a couple of nights and had to turn it off early.
The one downside was the brightness of the ‘on’ LED, no need for a bedside lamp with that thing! I ended up covering it with a large stuffed toy (so i also remembered not to trip over the wire).
Would recommend if you like a cool room but want a warm bed.
