This isn’t quite as powerful as the dryers used in the salon – but it has a good level of power and with the choice of attachments, good control over the drying process. It’s compact for its power level, which is great both for travel and for drying the back of your own head! The short barrel and the way it is balanced on the handle seems to have been carefully designed, making this easier to manage than some other dryers.
I don’t have curly hair so I haven’t tried the big diffusers. The concentrator and the flyaway tamer are well designed – they click neatly onto the dryer and are effective for straight hair. As the barrel of the dryer is short, it’s possible to get a lot of control by moving the dryer as near or as close as you want when drying your own hair. There does seem to be an effect from the ionic function as I am finding it leaves my hair rather smoother and less frizzy than my current dryer does.
The dryer is thoughtfully packaged in almost entirely plastic-free materials and with a nice microfibre travel bag included. Hairdryers are a daily essential for me and this one is certainly above average in performance. It comes with a long guarantee (3 years as standard, with a fourth year on registering) so while it is quite expensive, if it lasts for the full four years, it will prove good value for money.
Very nice hair dryer set!
Everything comes packaged nicely, the accessories were wrapped in tissue paper – no plastic in sight, which I liked! You get a lovely drawstring bag included to keep things in, and the instructions are very clear and easy to read. The booklet also gives you tips on which attachment to use, and there is a loop on the bottom of the handle, so you can neatly clip the lead up when not in use.
Very easy to use the hair dryer. The slide button at the bottom controls the heat, and you also slide it back down to turn the dryer OFF. There is a button above that to control the fan speed, and then above that is the cold shot button.
The hair dryer is nice to hold, and didn’t feel too heavy and bulky, which I thought was very good.
I washed my hair as normal, and then used the standard push in nozzle to dry it. I didn’t use any fancy technique or brush, I just used my fingers and rough dried it, and did a quick cold shot afterwards. After brushing my hair out, my hair looked glossy and smooth, with minimal fly-aways. (see my photo!)
If I was going out and wanted my hair looking that little bit more finished, I would have then used the smoothing attachment, but for day-to-day wear, I thought my hair looked great!
I’m giving it 4/5 stars, because I did think the attachments were a bit tricky to fix on the hair dryer. There are others available where they simply click on/off with magnets, but these you have to line up slightly and twist to click on. It wasn’t a huge issue, but considering the price of the hair dryer, it was something I noticed that was a little disappointing.
Otherwise, I’m very happy with it overall. Very good quality, great results, and suitable for all hair types and ages. I also think it looks really sleek and smart too, plus it’s lightweight and a compact size for travelling with.

My partner was particularly impressed with this hairdryer even though she is a fangirl of Dyson.
This has good 2000W motor which has plenty of power, 3 heat settings, fan settings, cool blast and it really delivers on quality.
There are all the necessary attachments and it is very simple to use effectively.
Hairdryers can be very cheap and very expensive, this Remington sits in the middle with regards to pricing but delivers much of what you get with very expensive hairdryers.
Overall, very impressed.
I’m a firm convert to this hairdryer. It comes with three different attachments – including one to be used on dry hair that really works! You also get a useful carrying pouch. I like this hairdryer because I have fine, frizzy hair and the very helpful (hurrah) instruction leaflet that comes with this hairdryer tells you exactly how to use each attachment.
This hairdryer is pretty light to hold, so you don’t get that aching arm that usually comes after drying your hair. It is also not as noisy as my current hair dryer, which is helpful. But its results that matter and using this hairdryer with a round bristle brush I am able to straighten my hair and finish it, leaving it looking sleek and shiny and without that flyaway look. That’s in part due to the sensor which gives the dryer ability not to burn my hair to a frizz, but also because it is ionic which helps to tame the frizz. There’s a clip for keeping the cord untangled and it comes with a three year guarantee – which rises to four once registered on their site. Highly recommended.
This is a good quality hairdryer and not overly complicated, it has 3 heat setting, 2 fan settings and a cool blast button which works great, it comes with a bag and a few attachments and so far in the two times I’ve used it to dry and style my hair it has been great, really happy with it and the quality is 100% there too.

The Remington ONE Dry & Style Hair Dryer is not your average hair dryer, and while hair dryers are pretty affordable nowadays, this one brings more to the table with its four attachments. These attachments are great in helping you achieve different styles, from taming flyaways to defining natural curls.
The Thermacare Sensor is a standout feature, taking away the worry about heat damage. It regulates the air temperature continuously, ensuring protection against extreme heat while still delivering great results. Personally, I find that my hair doesn’t feel overly dry after using it, which is a big plus.
The 2000W motor is impressive, generating air speeds of up to 120 km/h for 25% faster drying. I can feel the power when I use it — it’s pretty fast. So, if you’re looking for a hair dryer that goes beyond the basics, this one with its attachments and smart sensor is worth considering.
