When you have large openings of odd sizes this gate is perfect. Keeps the dog and little one in.

This is excellent. I’ve used many stair gates and I cannot tell you how many times I have tripped or banged my toes on the bar at the bottom! This has nothing like that so that won’t happen! Why didn’t I get one of these 5 yrs ago?!
It’s nice quality as easy enough to fit.
The gate is easily installed with clear instructions on setting it up and using it. Once installed, it feels incredibly strong and sturdy. I have no doubt it can handle a dog or a toddler throwing themselves at it! The mechanism can be locked to prevent it being leaned on and extended further (causing sag) which is something some other gates lack.
The materials throughout feel strong and sturdy, at a very reasonable pricepoint. I have no doubt it’ll last a good while, even with very regular use. A great benefit of this sliding style gate is the ease of being able to move it around in the house to a new location and not having to spend ages adjusting screws/bolts to get it sized right.
Also, my toes must be singing my praises, as I’m no longer bashing them against the small metal bar that used to go along the floor with the old gate…!
This gate is highly recommended, although may not be 100% suitable for larger dogs as they’re likely to find a way through!
A decent quality stair gate is vital as soon as you have kids running around the house and i’m pleased with the quality of this one. It’s really easy to put up (approx 10 mins), can be opened with a single hand which is useful when you’re carrying a baby and it’s reasonably priced
It is very good quality and the fabric used should be able to withstand excited dogs jumping at the gate.
The side bars seem very robust
I really like the fact that this is a one handed gate, because holding things and fumbling about with the traditional type of gates aren’t exactly the safest thing, especially the gates with the trip bar at the bottom. I therefore really like this type of gate as well as the single handed click push button to unlock it. It reminds me of a sideways on retractable roller blind. There are installation screws plus spare ones, The descriptin states there are two sets of installation fitments so that the gate can just be lifted off and put somewhere else, eg fitments at both the top and bottom of the stairs to prevent adventurous babies from climbing the stairs or falling down them as the gate can be easily switched from top to bottom and vice versa.
As already mentioned, there are no trip hazards with this gate – no nasty bars to catch a foot in or need to step over.
Comes well packaged in a cardboard box. You get all the parts, screws and fixing sets included. Completely black in colour. It looks of good quality and feels well made. The instructions are fairly easy to understand and follow. It pulls out and retracts smoothly, not jamming or getting stuck. It’s easy to operate, open/close it can even be done one handed, but still difficult enough for a child to not be able to open and get out. It has a height of 86cm and it suitable for a standard doorway or any gap up to 140cm. The mesh is thick, strong and durable and holds strong keeping your little one in or out even. I prefer this to a standard baby gate. No big bulky gate that stays in place, it retracts back opening up the area, but still in place ready to use. Sturdy and strong. Really impressed with it.
A brilliant bit of kit for anyone with a dog or baby. Easy to install and very robust. I put this on my front door so the dog can see whats going on outside during the summer. Extremely easy-to-use fittings mean that removal is a simple one-click motion.

Fantastic baby gate and easy enough to put up. I put this up on my own and it took around ten minutes. The gate is easy to use and it’s much less in the way than a traditional metal gate. The great thing about this gate is it can be extended to the size you need, and you don’t have to worry about measuring the doorway etc. I have a dog that scratches at the gate and it is not damaged in the slightest, so the mesh is quite tough.
Love this. Well made, sturdy, easy to set up. Very helpful with doggo management, and is going to see a lot of use! Great versatile solution that we’re going to use to control access to a couple of rooms with different width doors, recommended.
This baby gate is easy to set up at the top or bottom or the stairs and does the job well when it comes to preventing accidents and little ones being where they shouldn’t, as well as pets.
It’s extendable up to 55 inches, making it suitable for the majority of stairways and it’s 33 inches tall to prevent children and small pets from being able to get over.
The material is plastic, but still feels sturdy and durable, so I’d expect it to last a good number of years.
All in all, it’s a functioning stair gate.
