RUIZHI Game Gun Grip for Splatoon 3, Shooting Game Gun

This Joycon accessory is nicely finished in attractive Splatoon-style colours, comes in two pieces which clip together solidly with no wobble. The issue I seem to have is that the openings for the Joycons seem to be about 5mm too deep so are recessed into the openings. As the plastic is not smoothly finished, the edges can feel rough on your hands when in use which may irritate after a while. I added blocks under my joycons to bring the height up so that the accessory opening is flush with the top of my Joycons. Not sure if this is an oversight or purposefully done for larger Joycons but wasn’t great out of the box for my official Joycons.
Ideally the recesses would be perfectly sized but it was easily modified to fit perfectly. Other than that, the kids love this peripheral and the colours really stand out in a world of plain plastic jobbies.
