Bought this well priced mattress for spare room it’s not bad on its own but added a topper for that extra plush Finnish value for money no defects not smelly expanded as per product info. Very happy.

Conclusion: It would be an option for someone who prefers soft sleeps. Would recommend for any weight as its deep enough for heavier people.
We hade been looking for a replacement mattress for some time before we came across the Serweet range. There was nothing on the market that matched its value. We had purchased 2 single Serweet mattresses and used them prior to purchasing one for our king size bed, therefore knew the level of comfort provided. We chose the 30cm mattress for greater comfort. The mattress is good value for money and provides the support needed for our backs. Recommend Serweet to anyone looking for a great mattress providing a high level of comfort and great value.
UPDATE: Having seen my review, the supplier of this matress reached out and offered me a full refund. I must say this is fantastic to see and experience. I was actually made 3 offers: 1 – Full refund and they will pick the mattress up at no extra charge. 2 – Full refund and I can keep the mattress or give away to a friend or charity. 3 – A replacement mattress, keeping or returning the old one. As I’m sure you can imagine I was very happy with this outcome. It says a lot when you’re contacted after a bad experience and get a very reasonable solution.
The lady I was contacted by let me know their company supply these mattresses with a 100 night warranty and are happy to resolve any issues such as mine within that time. So I can honestly now say that you can try this mattress yourself, without hesitation.
I originally had this as a 1 star review, for the reasons you can read below, but am happy to change it to a 4 star based on my experience with the supplier.
1 — Please look at my photo’s. Unfortunately, this mattress is not the size it should be and not even close. Our bed frame is a standard double size and the correct size for a double. From the photo’s you can see this is not a squared off mattress. It is at least 3 cm’s smaller on the bottom than it is on top. This not only makes it look odd on the bed frame, but I strongly believe it also makes for a worse sleeping experience. I’ve tried my best to show you the difference in the photos and feel it is very noticeable.
2 — This mattress is super soft. On a scale of 1 — 10 I would give it a 2 at best. Before this we were used to a somewhat firmer mattress that was about an 8 in firmness. So having to then sleep on this, after the first week I was left with bad back pain for a 3–4-week duration, with my back / spine needing to adjust to it. I can thankfully say the pain did go and I now have no issues. However, it is like laying on balloons every time you get into bed. I don’t believe this is helped at all by point number 1 above and the mattress not being square at all. I feel the overhang makes for an even softer feel.
I’m sure you’re asking why I didn’t return this then. I unfortunately left it a few days too late. Whilst Amazon’s one month return policy on most everything is great. One month for a mattress simply isn’t enough time, had I been given at least 2 months for such an important item, this would have been returned without hesitation. Plus, there is the thought of how do you return such a large item? It’s great that it arrives vacuum packed, but as soon as you unseal it, it is literally 10 times larger than when it arrived. You also must leave the mattress unused for 48 hours once opened to allow it to expand, which we of course did. But then this gives you even less time to test the mattress out.
I’ve now done vast checks on the internet and would happily pay 2-3 times more for a mattress than I did for this one from a company that offer’s 6-12 months testing periods. I will be doing this shortly, with the added pain of paying the new company 20-30 to remove the old (but pretty much brand-new mattress) at the same time. Not a nice thought at all, I’m sure you’ll agree.
If you need a mattress for a spare room that will only get 2-3 days of action now and then, then maybe this will do if you don’t want to spend money. But for a room that will be used by a member of your family, I don’t recommend this at all. It’s an absolute crying shame I left it too long to return it.
