Safe secure great quality
Mechanism felt more than secure strapped to my wrist with a Sony a7iii accompanied by a sigma 28-70 never once felt like it was going to let go amazing produc
very well made camera wrist strap
The Sunya Camera wrist strap seems to be very well made and of good quality. Time will tell.
It came with a number of quick release connectors and it does work with a Peak Design camera strap connectors as well.
Surprisingly good! 😊
These wrist straps are really good for the price paid. They seem very strong and feel comfortable when used. I put one on my Zf and 180-600mm lens attached and took the weight well. I’ve only had the strap for a few days and haven’t used it in the field as yet so will reserve my judgement until I have.
Until then I’ll go in face value and say that I would recommend the product.
Lovely wrist strap for a good price
I wasn’t sure if a wrist strap was for me, so thought I would purchase a cheap one first to see how I got on. I really like it and don’t see a reason to purchase a more expensive one!
Checked out looks pretty decent so fa
Yanked and pulled on it seems strong. Would I trust 5k of equipment on it don’t know. It’s a wrist strap I would trust it as far as a good bit of safety for a good few potential camera drops. That’s what I wanted so I’m satisfied.
I wouldn’t walk around with a heavy camera and lens DSLR just swigging from it like you carry a shopping bag around town. You should be holding your camera I feel anyway. A small camera yes.
Ignore reviews about it not being long enough it is. Don’t know what they are talking about. Ample length and neat.
Save money on Peak prices. 5 stars
It feels perfec
I find “standard” neck straps a real pain to use, and already use a Peak Design “Capture” clip on my backpack strap to hold my camera securely and hands-free when out walking. Sometimes, though, it’s just good to carry the camera in my hand but, although the handgrip on my Canon 6D Mkii is great, there is always the fear of dropping the camera. This wrsitband takes away all the stress. The “quick release” clips that come with it are spookily similiar to / and fit the Peak Design quick release clips I already have on the neck strap / camera body so that’s great for me personally, and for anyone else who uses PD stuff. Even without those, the clips are designed to loop through the fittings on the camera body and are very secure. Plus, the band comes with a little bag containing 4 more quick release clips for future use and / or a second camera. The wristband itself is very comfortable and easily adjusted to any wrist size. Overall, I’m really pleased with this purchase.
Versatile system
I have two Olympus cameras and it is easy to switch from one to the other and only needs one strap
With the strap removed it is easier to pack in a camera bag and takes up less room
I can switch from digital to film camera vey quickly and easily the system is very reliable and robust
I would recommend this produc
A great low-cost alternative to the over-priced Peak Design versio
While Peak Design straps are the industry standard, and I would always use their strong reliable anchors when carrying my 4000 camera, This low-cost alternative for a wrist strap is great. I didn’t use the anchors that came with it as the Peak Design ones are already on my camera. But, this Sunya strap is PD compatible and works just fine. The length is just right (so ignore some reviews saying its too short)
Maybe not for larger hands
Only 2 slight criticisms here
1: no instructions included, and I struggled to attach it. Maybe I’m a bit slow but I had to look closely at the pictures on the Amazon product page that shows how to attach it. People a bit sharper than me will have no issue.
2. The strap is not very big? I’m not a large man, though my hands are wide enough they won’t go in a pringles tube; I found the strap at its widest is a bit tight going over my hand.
That being said, I think it’s a good strap, it feels quite solid and is comfortable around the wrist. I have a small Nikon DSLR and used the supplied metal ring to attach the strap to the squared anchors, but maybe it could be attached directly to the body. All that remains to be seen now is how long it will last without coming apa
More covenient than a neckstrap!
Just the job for a light camera even a dslr. The strap is easily attached and removed and 4 attachments are supplied so you can use this wrist-strap with four cameras without having to un-attach the retaining toggles. I would not recommend it for heavy cameras with a heavy lens attached but for my Nikon D40, D80 and D300 it is just the job. It is comfortable to wear and seems well made so it should be durable for long use.
Compatible with Peak Design fittings
Easy to attach the “anchors” to the camera lugs.
I put an anchor on each lug so I can switch the wrist strap to either hand. This is useful when you’re using a “flip-out” screen.
Strap is very robust and so are the anchors.
I got this because I’ve come to the conclusion that if I’ve already got my camera in my hand then I am more likely to take photos than if it’s in my pocket or on a neck strap!
Excellent Value for Money.
I have tried a few other hand straps / leashes, and this one is the best for me so far. Not too fussy, simple slide ring to adjust to the wrist, and connectors compatible with the Peak Design fittings I already have on my cameras. The sliding adjustment ring on these is chromed plastic I believe, but appears more than adequately strong in any case (maybe you need a weak point, if using paracord around your wrist). At the price paid, I bought 2, and I might even get a couple more – No hesitation about recommending these, especially for smaller cameras where you want something simpler and low bulk.
Chunky
The strap is much thicker than what I was expecting – that’s a good thing in my book, as it will make whatever it is attached to very secure. It’s not the usual mobile phone lanyard type material. It’s proper paracord. The clip system is strong too.
Slightly uncomfortable material but good desig
This strap works pretty well with my EOS 200D – I have a 17-50 f2.8 lens on it too so it adds a bit more weight. I can let the camera dangle on my wrist, although the rigidity and courseness of the material can eventually get quite uncomfortable. Not a problem if you have long sleeves on, but good value for the price. I also like being able to unclip it when need be, makes life easier if I’m putting it on my tripod.
Good strap
I had to start using wrist straps as hurt my shoulders and neck straps where no longer an option. Good strap, you could make one your self for a couple of quid less. Looking less like a camera man is a good thing, probably safer too. And who doesn’t love bit of paracord. 4 stars nothing is perfect.
Initially my comment said that the strap was a bit on the small side and bit restrictive and not very comfortable. Having been contacted by the seller and receiving a replacement strap. I have to say that they have taken on board my comments and the new strap is longer in length than the original one I received. The additional length makes it much more comfortable. The product is well made and the quick release clasp is similar in construction to that used by Peak Design but much more affordable. Highly recommend the strap.
