SYNCWIRE USB C Car Charger [PD 45W & QC 45W] USB Type-C
SYNCWIRE USB C Car Charger [PD 45W & QC 45W] USB Type-C Colorful RGB Car Adapter Mini Charger Fast Charging Compatible with iPhone 15 Pro Max 14 13 12 11, Google Pixel 7, Samsung S23, iPad, Black

Great for charging my personal and work phone in the va
Really like the slim design and the ability to have the 2 different USB plugs rather than two big ones. Means I can use the USB-C with my personal phone and the USB-A for my work Iphone.
The power output is good, powering and charging my phones quickly even when hotspotting and streaming video. I can use the USB-C to charge my laptop, but I’m not sure of the power draw so I only charge that on it’s own just in case I melt something.
Small, compact, reasonably priced and does the job well
In a nutshell:
Things I liked:
+ Extremely compact and fits the 12v socket nicely with a tidy finish that only protrudes less than a centimetre.
+ Charging performance is absolutely fine. My Samsung S21 FE charges at its maximum charging rate.
+ Reasonable price of around about 12.
+ Feels like it’s pretty well made too.
Things I didn’t like:
– Absolutely nothing.
Do I recommend it?
Absolutely. It’s small, compact, reasonably priced and does the job well.
Shows up well.
This is a perfectly adequate car charger, with a USB C charger fitting.
Compatible with most phones, fits my Samsung Galaxy fine.
Love the light that comes on to let me know its charging, and it charges quite well, fits the cigarette lighter well and doesn’t fall out.
I just have to remember to remove it when l get out of the car as sometimes leaving these devices in can flatten my battery for some reason.
All in all a good usb car charger.
Compact and Powerful
I’ve recently been using the SYNCWIRE USB C Car Charger, and I’m genuinely impressed. This little device has made my car rides more convenient, especially when I need to keep my devices charged on the go.
The charger lives up to its promise of fast charging. It powers up my devices quickly, which is a huge plus for me. I’ve used it to power my MagSafe phone holder charger, and it hasn’t missed a beat. The 45W power delivery does make a noticeable difference, providing a speedy charge when I’m in a hurry. One of the best things about this charger is its versatility. I’ve found it compatible with almost anything that requires a USB port – iPhones, Android phones, and other USB-powered devices. It’s not suitable for laptops, but that’s expected from a car charger.
The design is where this charger really stands out. It’s incredibly compact, avoiding the bulkiness that you get with some other car chargers. I’ve had issues in the past with larger chargers not fitting well in my car’s cigarette lighter port or obstructing other controls, but this one fits perfectly. It’s small enough to fit snugly without protruding too much. The charger is as mini and portable as advertised. This makes it a great travel companion, especially when space is at a premium.
Ease of Use: It’s a straightforward plug-and-play device. No fiddling around, just plug it in, and you’re ready to go. This ease of use is a big plus in a car environment where you don’t want to be distracted.
Final Thoughts: Overall, the SYNCWIRE USB C Car Charger is a great little device. It’s small, efficient, and versatile, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to charge their devices on the road. The fast charging and universal compatibility are especially useful, and the compact design is a big win for practicality in a car setting.
Powerful!
This particular car charger is quite powerful! Delivering 45W from both USB ports at the same time!
I really like the aluminium body on this one, makes it feel this much better and more expensive at an actually really great price of 10.99! I think it is well worth it.
The RGB light at the top of the charger can be disabled also by the little touch button. Great feature if driving a lot at dark and find this type of lights distracting.
I’m very impressed and happy with this, especially as it also has a fairly low profile without anything sticking out on sides, makes it discrete and the cover of the caddy can be closed with it plugged in if you have one of these too.
You’ll be happy with this one!

Useful dual charging optio
I spend a lot of time on the road, so a good car charger is indispensable. This particular model caught my eye with its dual charging capabilities. I found it charging my devices remarkably quickly, whether an iPhone or a Samsung phone. The LED light feature is more than just decorative; it’s genuinely useful in the dark, though I sometimes found it a bit distracting. The charger’s compact size is a plus, fitting snugly in the car’s charging port without being obtrusive. The build quality feels robust, suggesting it will withstand regular use. However, it’s worth noting that with both ports in use, the charging speed seems to dip slightly. For anyone who needs to charge multiple devices on the go, this is a solid choice, albeit with a minor caveat regarding simultaneous chargingspeeds.
Fast and colorful car charger for multiple devices
I ordered this SYNCWIRE USB C car charger for my long road trips, and I’m very impressed with its performance and design. The car charger has two ports: one USB C port that supports PD 45W fast charging, and one USB A port that supports QC 45W fast charging. This means I can charge two devices at the same time, such as my iPhone 15 Pro Max and my iPad. The car charger also has a colourful RGB light that looks very cool and stylish, and it helps me find the ports easily in the dark. The car charger is made of high-quality aluminium alloy, and it has multiple safety features to protect my devices from overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, and short circuits. The silver colour matches my car’s interior, and the size is compact and portable.
Highly recommend
Decent little car charging adapte
I ordered this ‘SYNCWIRE USB C Car Charger’ for use in my car. Though it has 2 USB connections in the front and 1 in the back already If I go on a road trip with my wife and at least one of the kids I can find myself running out of power sockets very quickly. Power banks are fine but I would prefer to save them for portable or emergency use.
The biggest positive for me is the size, it is very unobtrusive and sits low profile in the power socket. I had no trouble with it staying in place and found its reluctance to come out of the socket to be a benefit.
I do not have a meter to check the charge capacity, 90 watts at 240v the draw would be around 8 amps so probably is not too excessive for the socket.
I don’t mind the light on it, however I will probably end up switching it off once anything is plugged in for the long haul.
At a price of 10.99 at the time of this review this is towards the upper end of similar products. Noticeably there are better specced chargers. The black version of this one is a pound cheaper.
I am happy with this charger but I would probably be happier to buy it if it were a few pounds cheaper.
I know it comes with a 3 year warranty, but you do have to wonder if that makes it worth the extra money and if someone would even bother to use the warranty if it was defective.
Good quality
The charger is well made of good quality materials and it is nicely packed which also gives you a good first impression. After nearly daily use I pretty much started to lose my interest in my old 12V charger although this one is a bit longer than the one I have, but hey this one has RGB (which can be turned off off-course). As you would expect with a 12v socket charger it is very easy to use, I didn’t experience any issues with it yet. An interesting fact is that it comes with 3years of warranty.
Charging power I would say it is not bad and not great for a 45W rated charger (close to that value anyway).
What I do like about it is the material, the RGB light, the reduced size and the charging speed.
I didn’t find any issues with it. It simply does the job.
Does the job!
I wanted something to charge up my devices in the car and this has the benefit of having both usb-a and usb-c ports, so no need to bother with conversion adaptors. It also has QC 3.0 and PD 3.0 capacity, so it adapts to the voltage of a device, up to 45 watts. Well, on trial, it seems good to me. It does exactly what it says on the tin, with some little aesthetic/practical features like a circular light which helps you to find it if you’re driving in the dark. You could turn this off via a small button if you’d prefer. I’ve read some reviews that say it fits a bit too snuggly in the socket, making it hard to remove and I have to agree, it is. I get around that by leaving it connected permanently and it doesn’t seem to be a problem but I have to knock a star off for it as it’s a pain to remove. Overall, a neat little device, handy for on-the-go charging.
Works but could fit bette
Main function of charging works well. But the issue for me is the fit, when plugged in, it pops out a little occasionally and so isn’t fully secure, other than that it doesn’t protrude too much or wobble about once inserted – an all too common fault with a lot of these chargers when paired with a Japanese car, which usually have a different specification to European/American car lighter sockets in some cases (like mine). But then again, it could be a fault with my car lighter socket, although I don’t seem to have this problem with other chargers I’ve tried recently, so your mileage may vary in this aspect.
The lighting is a nice touch, also the fact it can be turned off (via touch control) is a good option to have if you don’t like the illumination it provides.
Overall a decent charger, apart from the potential fit issues.
Good Device for Charging in the Car, Caravan or Boa
LIKES
* Seems well made. Nothing obvious to fault.
* Well packaged came in its own small protective cardboard box complete with easily understandable User Instructions
* Apparently has a 3 year guarantee according to the paperwork supplied with it in the box which is a lot longer than I would expect of a small item like this. Obviously I haven’t needed to put this to the test yet.
* Fits the 12v charging socket in my car ok (but see Dislikes)
* A circle lights up on the top of the charger to indicate it’s functioning ; this can be turned off if not wanted.
* Charged my phone ok using the USB-A input
* It’s a double input device accepting both USB-A and USB-C charging cables which is a bonus given the variety of cable standards now around.
* Will work with both inputs simultaneously though charging speed will be slower.
DISLIKE
* It proved to be very difficult to remove from the 12v charging socket. I really had to struggle with it.
NEUTRAL COMMENT
* At 12.99 the cost is a little more than alternatives for a dual input charger, and a lot more if only a single charging port USB-A or USB-C is required. If you only need one input there’s no need to pay for the extra. But for many of us the dual input is a good option to have.
OVERALL
Being a bit critical of the very tight fit, I’d like to have awarded 4.5 stars. But its hopefully not such a big issue to deserve being given 4 so 5 Stars with a slight reservation.
Very discrete profile. Not too grippy in Socket.
I’ve been looking for a decent, no-nonsense charger and cable combo that can reliably charge my Note20 whilst being used on long car journeys as a Satnav with GPS, Mobile Data and Screen always on – pretty power hungry use…
So, the charger has a very neat, attractive design. It has a reassuring heft to it and its metal outer case will help with heat dissipation.
In use, I found that the charger wasn’t too secure in the Car charger socket barrel, with a tendency to pop out and discontinue charging. I think the two shiny lugs on the charger barrel are a bit too ‘slippy’ and could do with being a bit more ‘grippy’
I tested this Charger with a USB-C charge tester (ASIN: B09Z2XF4Z6) and both a 1.5M Core+ 48W USB C to USB C cable (ASIN: B0CM9JJZ9X) and a genuine Samsung 1M charger lead bundled with my Samsung Note20.
Whilst the Note20 should be good for 25W Superfast charging, the best I managed was just over 17W with the Core+ cable and 14W with the Samsung cable. That said, I only managed 18W via the genuine Samsung USB-C charger (EP-T800) in a wall socket and Core+ cable. From this testing, I can say that this Syncwire charger is just as good as a genuine Samsung 25W charger. I’ll retest and update when I get a device that can pull 45W.
Fast charge working well
The charger is working fairly well.
My phone registers that the device is charging fast.
I like the light sons the rim. Helps to find the ports easily in the dark while driving.
The button to turn the light off is very good. It’s touch activated and dies not need to be pushed in.
Nice compact desig
Overall seems a well constructed charger, although see below for note about charger output.
Pros:
Well constructed, slots into lighter socket without any undue force
Very compact
No charger interference on the radio
Good range of compatible charging outputs (see picture)
3 year warranty (according to card supplied with charger)
RGB lights are not overly bright and can be easily switched off
Packaged well
Cons:
The 90W listing title is a bit misleading, it cannot output two 45W supplies at the same time so is actually a 45W charger. It does state this further down in the product details but you could miss this if not scrolling down through the pages of info.
You can use both outputs simultaneously but the output power is limited to 22.5W per port.
Small, compact, and speedy charging
The SYNCWIRE Mini Car Charger is a great option for those looking for a good quality fast car charger. It’s perfect for fast-charging compatible devices such as the Google Pixel 7 / 8, Samsung S22 / S23, or the latest iPhones. It will also charge older devices that don’t support fast charging, so this really is a great little charger.
Being so small, it doesn’t protrude from the 12V accessory slot, thereby reducing the risk of it being knocked out and broken.
Fast charging with PD 45W and QC 45W
Clear LED light
Wide compatibility with a variety of devices (Sat Nav, iPhone, iPad, Android phones, etc)
Very compact design for easy storage
The LED light can be a bit too bright for some users
The gold-plated circuit could be more durable
Decent price for a super 12V charger.
Cute little rainbow charge
Here we have a cigarette lighter charger for both USB and PD. It comes nicely boxed, held secure in cardboard so it doesn’t get damaged while travelling, and has a helpful manual to go with it.
When plugged in it has a rainbow ring that lights up round it which can be turned off when you touch it.
I’m not convinced yet about the 45W claim, as it doesn’t look like it fast charged my Pixel 6, but this may be down to my cable so I’ll try out another and reserve judgement until then. At very least it charges my phone faster than it can use while running the satnav, making this a solid charger, and the rainbow ring is a cute addition!
Useful on some 12V batteries and fast charges my devices but slower when two devices connected
This is a useful cigarette lighter USB-C and USB-A charger, very minimal in size.
Can also be used on powerbanks that have a 12v dc cigarette lighter port and no USB C ports such as Tracer lithium batteries.
When two devices are connected, they share the input power and as shown in my video, device charging will be slower.
Also, there is a touch on/off switch which can be accidentally toggled when plugging in the cable as happened in my video demonstration. The coloured LED lights however, ensures you know that it is on or off.
great little USB power adaptor, confusing description in listing
This is a really compact power adaptor and feels like a high quality item with it metal construction. The listing however is ambiguous as to whether it can power two devices with up to 45W at the same time. It is stated it the title that it is 90W (45 x2) but the description says ‘ USB-C port (supporting PD3.0) and USB-A port (supporting QC3.0) provide up to a 45W Max output when used individually’ This would seem to imply that each port can only supply 45W when used on its own. Unfortunately I can not test this as my USB load tester can only test on port at a time.
Very pleased
These charger’s are getting incredible now – 45w from each output is incredible.
I’m not really a fan of the RGB but as it can be turned off then it is fine – if you like colourful things then this is that. Also my live is permenant and although the RGB light will draw neglible current it might make a difference if your battery isn’t great and you go on holiday for two weeks.
I can confirm that this charger fits the cigarette lighter socket nicely and is neither too tight or loose – just right.
I only have ipads and iphones so can’t test the full charging capability but I’m happy that the 25w the iphone can pull leaves it with enough headroom so it won’t get too hot and also I’m future-proofed.
