The Wii Remotes are good. They do, in fact, have Motion Plus technology inside. Pairing them to the console wasn’t too much of an issue (just press the remote’s sync button, then the Wii’s sync button, and wait for it to sync). The feel is nearly on par with the official controllers, but not quite (however, it’s easy to forget this while you’re playing; they still feel quite good).

Overall, these do the job they are set out to, and if you’re looking for a pair of Wii Remotes, these will do the job.

The age of the WII may have passed but its still a good platform for the family… assuming you can still get it to run? Alas the WII controllers were not the most durable of controllers and so being able to get workable and reliable replacements is a must…. hence why I gave this item such a high score. Sure, it’s a holdover from yesteryear, but it works and helps breathe new life into your ancient WII.

Seems to work quite well. Sometimes took a little longer to connect than expected, and the response just didn’t quite seem to match that of the original – did not respond to very small motion increments. However, worked well in non motion plus (e.g. Mario Kart) and motion plus (e.g. Sports Resorts) games.

Build quality was pretty good, buttons had good depth and response and construction seemed solid enough.
